Tangerine ≥10 - XSP versions affected by 1.4 GHZ bug vs. XSP versions free this bug
I'm trying to narrow the source of the infamous 1.4 Ghz scale CPU issue. For those who are not experience this, I will explain: on Tangerine ≥10 kernel versions, the CPU won't scale over 1458 Mhz. It works just fine on stock kernel or Tangerine pre-version 10.
I've erased and format everything, even removed the SD-card, fresh install of CM 12.1 and a few custom ROM that were reported as working nice with T-Kernel ≥10... not a change, it won't go over 1.4 Ghz. I'm trying to figure out what's causing this wild behavior, it might be the device subversion. So, please post your Xperia SP version and what's your case - it's your Tangerine (versions ≥10) allows for CPU frequencies over 1458 Mhz? Thank you!

It's happening with me too

@varioventus this is an old thread but I want to write this anyway. The issue appears only when using the "clean L2 frequency table".
The difference between the label on your SP and mine (on which the issue doesn't exist) is that on the right side I see:
Model: C5303
14W18
SI: 1272-2536
There's something different in the hardware. It's the only explanation!

Korean FRF91 rom has new radio and hboot !

so, in this thread : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=722281 , they say that the radio version of this rom is 32.41.00.32U_5.08.00.04 (same as the last desire rom) , and the bootloader version is HBOOT-0.35.0017. can this be useful for the devs ?
edit : it seems that the desire version of this radio has new driver that were the key to implement 720p on it.
I don't know if this is useful, but I flashed it successfully by crafting my very own update.zip
This update.zip doesn't have the HBOOT as I have no idea how it impacts the rest of the phone and the flashing/downgrading capabilities of the phone.
I ONLY TESTED IT WITH MY PHONE! IT MIGHT NOT WORK AT ALL WITH YOURS!
Tested on a T-Mobile version (900/AWS/2100 MHz, European version)
Here's the link: http://www.multiupload.com/KLJAXW9G4C
It just works, camcorder and camera still works properly, no need to update the Camera apk.

Mines says 32.41.00.32h_5.08.00.04
Why is mines differant? What's the difference between h and u?
Tested here with CM6, everything seems good:
http://forum.cyanogenmod.com/topic/2547-new-radio-5080004
Currently running CM6 nightlies on the AT&T N1, but I'm in New Zealand, not US
she work perfectly with MCR R21 MODACO fo me
Does the new radio still work with the new camera hack and all? I'm on cyan 6 r c 1 with 5.08 radio no problems. But how about using It on cyan 508 with camera hack? And same with r c 2?

Let's make a research about which is the best combination (Rom/Homescreen App...) on Xperia X8.
You can see you phone's score results by downloading and installing the "Quandrant Standard" from the market.
Mesure your score a few times and then provide the range of your results (ex. 350-360).
Every one can post it's phone score. You can provide a screenshoot too.
Please, reply writing the information i give:
====================
Model: E15i
System: stock, 2.1.1.A.0.6
Homescreen App: Launcher Pro
JIT: Enabled
SetCPU: Enabled
Score: 482-510
====================
You can see your system and model from your phone settings and from Quandrant Standard too.
I you do no have or you do not know what JIT and SetCPU are just do not write then or put "Disabled" where i write "Enable".
We can take some info from here too.
Tell me if and how we can expand the research.
=========Results (until 8/3/2011)=========
1. as-mario :E15i-MiniCM-LP-J|E--SPU|D --> 780-1123
2. stevicc : E15i-Floyo(Racht-v0.15)-LP-J|D-SCPU|D --> 1100
3. GreatApo : E15i-Stock|2.1.1-LP-J|E-SCPU|E --> 482-510
4. Darkthanos : E15i-Stock|2.1.1-LP-J|D-SCPU|D --> 470

(Secure Kernel) AnikOS Droid Kernel

Hi! I'm the head of the AnikOS community that is devoted to Linux Security Solution developing. For some time already we are porting some of our patches for linux kernel (especially GRSecurity-based) to 3.1.10 android kernel for some devices.
Some time later I'd like to introduce you the first working ALPHA version of this kernel named AnikOS Droid Kernel 1.0 Alpha01 for Nexus S GSM.
You can also read some useful information about AnikOS project here.
If you have any suggessions that need to be applied in our kernel so you are welcome with advices ;-)

maybe you could add some features of these kernels in yours
here is some good info from bedalus on all the kernel features http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=21322946&postcount=3
I would suggest getting the project you are working on to actually work first. Kind of silly IMHO to be looking to add in stuff in other kernels when your kernel project is not even in a alpha stage yet.

Ok, thanks!
I've already added the latest Voodoo Colors and Sound patches, the most popular IO and CPU frequency schedulers, BLN and BLD patches, GRSecurity 2.2.2 and some other patches.
Kernel has the Diffferent Security models feature enabled and uses full audit and policy enforcement GRSecurity features.

Quadrant Benckmark Results on Stock JB 4.1.1

My TF300T has been suffering from many problems like random reboots, freezing and showing the app not responding popup, low fps in games, etc.
I would like to know if my tablet is faulty, or I should just void the warranty and install a custom rom.
These are my quadrant benchmark results (after a reboot, performance mode):

The IO results are really horrible here, and I think its the main cause of the slow performance on this tablet. (Even my 1st gen Kindle Fire gets 2263 for IO)
FYI, I have already done a factory reset after updating to JB.
Can other users on Stock JB post their Quadrant Benchmark Results here too? I want to see if my benchmark result is normal.
EDIT: I just did a factory reset (again), and the results improved by a little bit. Is this the best I can get without unlocking the bootloader?
At first i did not want to unlock my tablet, but i couldn't live with the terrible i/o.
I unlocked the device and installed [email protected] rom. The tablet is flying.
Look at the quadrant results, that's all i can say.
with the new OC Version I get about 6400 on Quadrant

[BENCHMARKS] Post Your Results

I am hereby Making a Benchmark thread for our U8800Pro.

So be free and post your benchmarks here.

Mods used-
*KickAssKernel script

This is not for competition purposes

keep in mind that benchmarks don't show real world performance.You can have a great score and the rom being buggy as hell at the same time..!
u 8800-51 divice with SheDu pro v2.0.4
CPU Frequency 1600, guvernator - ondemand
no lag no bug
the best antutu benckmark is mine with my rom, my benckmark is 6630 with 1804 mhz but i have not the screen because i do that benchkmark in the past
pointless thread.with all the respect.this is something like show me your homescreen to tell which rom is the best.
Highest benchmark does not mean faster or more stable ROM.
Sent from my U8800Pro using Tapatalk 2
I told stable.. Even 4.2.2 is stable but has many issues.. Stability doesnt depend upon bugs it depends on kernels(i may be wrong). Even b929 is unstable with Geno's earlier kernel multiple reboots..
There are roms which are stable but not fit for everyday use
