somone help me , i want to install new update of CM SCREAM by ling gan but when i install zip file and reboot devise , in bootloader nothing happend ,android startup dosent start , whats the problem . please help !!! :crying:

If you have backup, you can restore via recovery. If not, you have to reflash rom and don't forget wipe all before flash new rom.

Is this brick situation? -HELP-

Here is the newbie situation.
1)i just root my N4 JWR66Y successfully then
2)Flash a custom rom and reboot successfully
3)was playing around the new roms n reboot THEN this happen
4)it bootloop and i power off the phone then it comes to TWRP 2.6.0
5)try to reboot and there is no OS install
6)i still able to boot into recovery and bootloader but cant BOOT

If you can get to the bootloader/recovery you're not bricked.

The moment you can't do anything with your phone except throw it at somebody is the moment its bricked. You are ok my friend as posted above just flash another rom but I am confused if your phone would only go into recovery why would you not try and restore backup or just flash another rom?
Edit: Hopefully you made a backup of your original rom? Also what recovery are you using

:good:so its not bricked. nothing is inside the storage so do my backup file.it seems the internal memory is EMPTY.

hi guys , my lg g2 wont run , ive cwm recovery installed , i was playin in the hidden menu 3485#*802# , there was an option ''factory reset'' i clicked that , the phone rebooted and went to cwm recovery automatically , i treid turning off again but same issue , i wiped data , cacnhe everythin , even flashed custom rom again ehich i had in sd card but stil its stucked in cwm recovery menu when turn it on :'( pls help guys im so worried

What happens when you boot to download mode then reboot from there? Will it break the boot loop? CWM is wonky with this phone btw, you should be using TWRP. Or you can revert back to stock and redo the phone, or maybe push a new recovery image via adb and see if that corrects the issue.

Need guidance please

I am on stock ROM rooted one i got some issue in stock launcher it keeps restart when i click home button. I did reset factory but same happen after linking Google account when i click next step it again restarted. sometimes it stuck on Gionee logo.
So first I'm downloading ROM provided by @NHS2008

and i know i needed CWM for it so
[recovery][e7] cwm 6.0.3.7 [unofficial] [Credits @Ravikirancg]
But i don't know how exactly i install it ? Should i flash it directly from stock recovery ?
I don't think i have access to sdcard from computer. Is there any way to flash CWM and ROM with usb OTG pendrive ?
Please need help what thing i should do ?

Download recovery tool from playstore..open it and flash the cwm recovery that u ve downloaded.

I am not sure..but I think u can try fastboot method to flash..cwm..

bro I am used cwm recovery a long time. and I also back up my stock rom using cwm. and today I flashed twrp recovery to flash motion rom. I ask the question if I will flash cwm recovery again(same version). can I restore my previous back up rom? plz help me. cause motion rom have a great bug means ofline charge not work

backing up process of cwm and twrp is totally different.
To get back ur backed up rom,
either u have to flash the cwm again or make a huge modification.
Btw,dont post thanks/good/nice in all threads.
