I was having a little fun at your expense. Sorry about that. Consider it in honor of Ken M, the master troll.
More seriously...any chance any of the Accessibility settings have changed? When did this first show up?

Here it seems alright to me. If you want to make everything look smaller on your phone you could try changing DPI; You'll need ROOT for that.

The icons next to chainfire's name is way to big

Did you change your screen size in terminal?
Otherwise dirty flash a stock rom over your current rom. And flash SuperSU and Xposed (if you need it)
Would solve the issue.

Just download latest version for your variant.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/mot...-stock-x1572-1575-5-1-1-lph23-116-18-t3229355
I recommend deodex version over the odexed.
Then boot into recovery.
Flash the stock rom zip. Flash SuperSU update package + Xposed if you want.
Wipe cache/dalvik cache.
Then you should be almost stock like. If you want to change DPI safely next time. Use this app.

Help Flashing Split View by Bigfau

I am wanting to install the LG G Flex Split View mod by Bigfau on my rooted LG G2 but I do not know how to "Flash in recovery and reboot."
Can anyone help me through this process? I was reading up on the flash guide here on the forum and saw that I needed a custom recovery installed before flashing. Is this really needed to just add the split view feature? If so, how can I go about doing this?
thx

yea, unfortunately, a custom recovery is needed to flash any mods or zips. It does not work with stock recovery. The only thing you can flash with stock recovery is a rom, but since you need gapps and so on for the rom to work properly, you need a custom recovery.
I find TWRP the easiest recovery to work with, here's the link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2449679
There is no need for custom recovery... Use the Flash Gordon app from play store. All you need is root and busybox. You can flash zips but not ROMS..
Sent from my LG-D802 using xda app-developers app
Hmmm, two different answers. Thanks for the quick replies though.
I don't think I need any roms, I am just trying to take the zip file mod in the link and get it working on my stock LG G2. I know it will work on the stock Verizon phone, but I have no idea how to do the flashing.
If I use an app from the play store, I read that it may, "lack the ability to wipe the Dalvik cache (affecting the JIT compiler)." Will this be a problem for me?

I'll go ahead and try it out later today. I am not against installing a custom recovery if it is useful later. But I don't plan on installing any custom roms ever. Is there any use for a custom recovery outside of custom roms that cannot be accomplished by Flash Gordon App?

The ability to backup your device (make a NANDROID, as it is called). If you have a rooted device and intend to mess with it, I would say that a nandroid backup is a must . The good thing about a nandroid, something which Titanium Backup can't is to restore the whole system and boot. On the other hand, you might find some apps missing, so it's best to back up apps though Titanium Backup and your system/boot etc through Custom Recovery.
Oh and by the way, please tell me how the split-view thingy works once you have done it

Did not work with busybox + flash gordon. Seems the .zip contains some system files which are not able to be edited through flash gordon. I'll try to install a custom rom then I guess.
Will installing a custom recovery via this method work?

To set split view whiich works wonders wen modding phones ? you have to set one of your nave bars to open it mine is set as the back button. Long press is why you just press the front nav bar in stead off tapping it. Correct me if im erong but i think you must also be running xposed installer with one of the g2 settings apps found in the playstore. I flashed split view using flashify and it works fine munis not being able to use the knock feature wen engaged.

I do not have xposed and holding down the back button launches the program for me.
The program works after installing it from recovery in TWRP, but after installation, I pressed wipe cache and it was in the process when my phone screen turned off. I couldn't get it to turn back on, and eventually just held down the power button for 10 seconds to get it to boot normally. It works now, but what can I do to avoid that happening again?
That im not too sure about wen i wipe my chace and dalvik it completes the action and just romdomly cuts the phone off. When ever your wiping i say the best thing to do is just too make sure you have a back in cases something goes wrong

Accidentally deleted gallery

So when I was going about freezing and deleting thing I mistakenly deleted the gallery instead of freezing it since I was switching over to quickpic. I have the note 3 gallery.apk and I placed it in the systems/pri-app with the following permissions (RW-R-R) I rebooted and it showed up and when I tapped it it force closed before it even opened but it did have me sign back into my google account so I'd have all my photos. I even fixed permissions using rom manager and still no go.
I am rooted on 4.4.2 on T-mobile and have twrp recovery but I'm on a stock rom.
Thanks
Try to clear data and cached from app manager? Let it rebuild again.

Yep. Any missing stock/system .apks will be reinstalled and you shouldn't lose any data. Probably best to do a backup first, and flashing the same stock ROM as your current one should minimise the already small chance of anything messing up.
Actually, can't see any reason not to use TWRP for the flash either, since you already have it.

Though u never do a full wipe. The supersu is there, but the binary is gone (can't install the binary).

Well it sort of works. It allows me to view pictures open and close albums and at first would allow me to multi select albums or picures but now as soon as I long press one it gives me the unfortunately gallery has closed message and I cleared the data/cache to no avail.

Huh, /system should be remountable as rw. The command should be something like this:
adb shell
mount -o remount,rw /system
Once you do that, you should be able to adb pull your build.prop, edit it, then adb push the fixed version.

How to unroot Mi A1?

Hi, guys.
I have rooted my Mi A1. But now after facing the problem with October update, I want to undo all changes made on my device and receive and install all future updates without any additional procedures - just receive OTA update click install button and that's all.
My first question is - is it possible?
The second is - can anybody explain me how can I do it?
Note: After flashing and getting root FlashFire shows me that system's active slot is slot B right now. Also after some attempts to install October OTA update (playing with slots A/B) my device shows me that I do not have any root access now. The screenshots are attached.
Thanks beforehand.
I think the best way is to flash stock image you can find on miui download site.

Basically, if you flash the factory image, it should be (or I believe it is) written on the both partitions, so you can start with "clean shield", but on the newest update.
You can even preserve user data within the tool

I'm not really sure if it's true or not, but I think it it. Like, if you have any problems with either partition A or B, simply flashing factory image over it should fix both, that's why I think it's true.

Referring from here, it's not true:
A/B updates require an increase of only 320 MiB in flash, with a savings of 32MiB from removing the recovery partition and another 100MiB preserved by removing the cache partition.
