Does the Zuk have 64bit processor? - Zuk Z1 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Curious to know and what verison of 801? AB AC or AA?

According to Zuk web page:
"CPU: Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8974AC"
http://www.zukmobile.cc/zuk-z1-u-touch-4g-lte-dual-sim-mobile-phone.html

According to the review from Android Authority on YouTube it's a 32bit processor
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fFnBdS5Sn1Q

MSM8974AC
(Snapdragon 801)
28nm LP
4 x Krait 400 2,45 GHz
Qualcomm Adreno 330 578 MHz
Dual-channel 32 bits LPDDR3 1.866

So basically this has a better processor than the Oneplus X! apparently they are using the old AA version.

No 32 bit

Is it scorpion or snapdragon? How is it compare to hummingbird processor?
Sent from my SE_X10i using Tapatalk
Snapdragon is the SOC, and Scorpion is the name of the CPU core. It's arm based like the hummingbird, and as far as I know, the performance is very similar (some +&- between the two)
Both are same, except the GPU part, Snapdragon MSM8255 which uses Adreno 205 GPU ( Adreno is a rebranded AMD Z430 originally developed by ATi as Imageon then AMD sold it to Qualcomm )... Hummingbird in the other hand uses the PowerVR SGX 540 GPU from Imagination Technologies...
from performance POV, PowerVR SGX 540 is a little bit faster than Adreno 205 ( over all performance, in some benchmarks the SGX 540 is notable faster like in GLBenchmark 2.0 ), but the CPU part of the hummingbird limit it's power, the same GPU when used in a dual core SOC like OMAP 4430 ( used in LG Optimus 3D ) performs better... just to note, Samsung used another SOC in Galaxy S2 that SOC uses a different GPU named Mali-400MP which is slower than SGX 540... but being a dual-core helps the Mali-400MP to be faster than SGX 540...

mali-400 mp vs adreno 225

Hi I'm trying to decide between int version and US version and I'd like to know which GPU is the most powerful, I already know about dual core vs quadcore (dual core being slightly better than the quadcore version) Thanks
Some info in the links in OP.

Windows 8.1 not possible, and Windows Phone 8.1 is too not possible.
There are several problems, such as the Secure Boot.
GoodDayToDie can certainly tell you more, even if it seems to me that the question has already been requested.

As @anaheiim already stated, this won't be possible. Similar specs doesn't mean that it will be possible due to many things involving Secure Boot, certificates, etc.
Since this is a duplicate of many "Can I put WP8 on my Android phone with similar specs threads". I'm going to close this thread for cleanup.

[Q] About the yureka snapdragon 615 msm 6989 chipset

The snapdragon 615 chipset is 1.7ghz.
Then y does yureka have only 1.5ghz x4 cores and 1.0 ghz x4 cores?
Is it that there are different models of the snapdragon 615 chipset and yureka used the 1.5ghz one?
Or they have under clocked it to 1.5!
I dont know much about chipsets so if any1 could tell me about my querry then it would be helpful
Thanks!

CPU of Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 vs. CPU of Redmi Note 5 Pro

Hello everybody
I'm still using my Samsung Galaxy S5 but it's gotten too slow.
So I want a new phone. Not sure whether Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 or Redmi Note 5 Pro.
I did a comparison:
Chipset
S5: Qualcomm MSM8974AC Snapdragon 80, Quad-core 2.5 GHz Krait 400,Adreno 330
Redmi Note 4: Qualcomm MSM8953 Snapdragon 625, Octa-core 2.0 GHz Cortex-A53, Adreno 506
Redmi Note 5 Pro : Qualcomm SDM636 Snapdragon 636, Octa-core 1.8 GHz Kryo 260, Adreno 509
Why would anyone buy the Redmi Note 5 Pro with a slower CPU clock speed? Does the Kryo 260 have some other features which make it faster in the end? I couldn't find many details googeling for both of the CPUs.
Your advice is appreciated.
Have a nice day
SD636 scores higher in benchmarks and has better GPU
Snap 636 is quite far better than Snap 801/805 and Snap 625. We can also overclock it and still keep good battery life
