Smooth 120 fps SlowMotion with moto g - Moto G 2015 General

Hi i dont know if is just me or this is normal with others but when i use the slowmo feature the video is to chopy
Well with this step i cant get butter smooth 120 fps slow mo (at 540p ) and 60 fps (at 720p)
Im using cyanogenmod 12.1
flash this file https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Bwray3U603G8bGRnNHNpZFY0anc/view
then you need to update to a nighthi just for the motorola camera app be deleted (dont just deleted or unistalled it wont work)
then you download the morola camera from the playstore.
Why do that? well the zip file modify the files for the camera and you have the hidden features but you cant change de slowmo fps, when you update, the cm update delete the motorola camera app but not the files and when you downloaded from the playstore you have the camera app up to date and in the advanced settings (the ladybug icon) under fetuares you will see an option that say SLOW MOTION OVERDRIVE and set it to 120... with this i can record butter smoth slowmotion videos... I dont know if any one can do that, but i want it to shared it with you. Here is a video... Thank and sorry for my English im from Argentina. https://youtu.be/HNSHlD_5STc

That is so confusing!!!
Can't I just manually delete the apk from the folder with root explorer? What if I don't want CM?
What files are you talking about that it would delete??? Those from the flashable zip?? If that's the case, why not install the moto camera from play, THEN flash the zip??
This all seems so illogical to me. I'm extremely confused!!

No you cant deleted with root explorer i tried and it wont work, when you go to the playstore and download the motorola camera app you will get force close i dont know why.
And you cant install the motorola camera app from the playstore first and then flash the zip file because it will replace the apk...
Is simple the apk that is in the file is old... and you have the advanced option but dont have the option to change the slowmotion speed... If you flash the zip file, then update cyanogenmod trough a nightly the app will be deteled but not the libs and the modification to the build prop. file... So then you installa the app from the playstore you will get the last version of the motorola app and the advanced option... and finally the option to change the slowmotion FPS
I tried in stock and works but the slowmotion recording is smoth, chopy, smoth... with CM 12.1 is smoth always...

It would make FAR more sense to get all the files needed together in a flashable zip than jump through all these hoops.
This seems like way more trouble than its worth the way you say to do it. Besides, I don't want CM....soooo....yeah.

a quick little trick to get some nice apps that samsung only gives to i9000

heres a way to get a couple nice apps for free that samsung thinks the i9000 guys should have but not us (asphalt 5, krazy kart racing), theres also an updated version of task manager, and a few others that i wasnt interested in. if your using your stock build.prop file and open the samsung apps, it will show an updated version of our camera app but i have not updated it yet but i will report back when i do. but to get all the nice apps, you have to temporarily replace your build.prop file with the one ive attatched. also download the samsungapps.apk ive included and put it onto your sd card and install it. download the build.zip ive attached and extract the build.prop file to your desktop.
so now with root explorer, go to /system and long press and copy your build.prop file and paste it to your internal sd to back it up. long press again and rename it to build.prop.bak or whatever you want.
now put the build.prop that you got from me and put it on your sd card. now go back into root explorer, long press on the build.prop that you just put on the sd and copy it. now you want to paste it in /system and click yes to overwrite the one you have. reboot your phone. under settings- about phone there should be some of the version info changed and all that(thats all this does). now if you open the samsung app store that you installed you will see a few apps available for free. install what you want, then just delete your modded build.prop on your sd card(or save it to your pc or whatever in case they add some more stuff so you can do this again) rename your original build.prop.bak to what it is supposed to be(build.prop) and do the same-copy this file, paste it in /system to overwrite the modded one, reboot, and now your back to how you were just with some nice free games or whatever else you downloaded. everytime you switch between these files for downloading things from the samsung app store, go into applications, find the samsungappstore.apk and delete the data and cache so it will reset to your current version.
this is a long post but it takes less than 5 min.lol
you could also do this with adb but if you dont know how to use adb do it this way.
This is cool, I didn't really know what the build.prop file did, little things like this help me put the pieces together. I also notices that swype won't work with your build.prop file. Maybe why it won't work in ported i-9000 and vibrant roms that I've tried.
Also the proper version of asphalt is great. Hardware acceleration makes a difference. The lighting effects are much beyer than the version in the market.

really? i dont know how that file would affect anything like that, but either way that build.prop file is just so you can get the apps. i didnt try anything with it, just replaced it with my original as soon as i was done doing what i wanted with it after i messed with it.
ya and its were like the red headed step child to samsung compared to the i9000, but thats to be expected.

I tried your way, and the Asphalt5 app downloaded and installed, but when run, all it does is play the intro video. Does that app actually work for you. The Krazy Kart Racing App worked for me, but Asphalt5 just won't do it.
I updated camera firmware all seems well still.

You have to go to settings/applications/Samsung apps and autorize new application notification in I9000. When you are notified that the application is ready for you to install, you will be able to click and install. Please note asphalt is a huge file and will eat up a lot of download time. It is strongly recommend you use wi fi for asphalt and not packet notification.
What version is the task manager that is included in this? My phone has version 1.11
Also, any difference in the camera update?

The system was authorized for notification, the app did fully download through WiFi (all 70 MB of it), it did ask me to install, and I installed it successfully without incident (which is what my post already implied). It is shows up in the application list, but when I start it, there is a dialog box that pops up in the background and closes before I can read what it says. After this, all that starts is the intro video, which actually plays through the phone's movie player application. The game itself never launches. Have you actually spoofed your Captivate to be an i9000, downloaded Asphalt 5 through SamsungApps, and then run it successfully. If you have a market bought full version of the game, that doesn't count. I am thinking that this game has some additional security measures that prevent it from being launched.

yup, thats why i said in my original post just to use this for getting the apps, then switch back to your original. with the original, the samsung app store app will not let you download any of the good stuff. so just use this to get what samsung gives the i9000 users for free, and then switch back to your original.
lol does anyone have an origianl build.prop, i thought i backed it up and its gone.

This is from cog beta9 (even though I think it says 8.1 in the file).
Depending on what you're running, you may need something else...I really don't know.

i have beta9, installed this while on beta 9 and its running fine. i think like what someone told the other poster you have to go into the settings on the samsung app and click download on wifi and then install it while your connected to wifi or something like that since its a pretty big file.
You do all this on the phome right? Not copy paste on the computer?

[Guide]Solve your camera failure SGS 2 I9100G version

ok i read mostly , or should be majority of SGS 2 with G version having camera failure problem..
i am one of the G version user having camera failure problem and its kinda frustrated
how ever i solve my problem after google works and asking around..
the tricks to overcome camera failure issue is by replacing your phone camera.apk
the first thing you need to do is root (which give you power to modify your phone system)
here is the link for rooting your G version.
Declaimer
I'm NOT going to take any responsibility if you permanently bricked your phone or your girlfriend/boyfriend breakup with you because of this . My experience say only people who don't read and don't follow the step properly will brick your phone..
ok, after root then what? you can solve it by follow this few simple step.
1.download this root browser via android market in your phone
Link
or any browser you prefer, but must support root so it can modify data in your system..
2.download this
http://www.mediafire.com/?8x8z9tlw8f4xxox
3.Open your root browser and browse to /system/app, and move your 'Camera.apk' and 'Camera.odex' (for use as a backup) or you just delete it
(cz its rubbish that cause camera fail, it cant do the job so throw it to thrash bin
Don't worry, if you really deleted and want back here is the stock rubbish camera.apk
Stock Camera SGS2
4.Copy the camera.apk that you downloaded and place it in /system/app
5.Close your Root Browser and run the camera.
6.Tadaaa you are done
Try reboot if it don't works..
or
If the camera fails to run or shortcut is missing. Go back to /system/app with your root browser and try to install it. DO NOT DO SO IF YOU SUCCESS run the camera
updated 1march.. 3 of the old 1 there is 2 not working.. another 1 i dint try..
now i using from other rom camera apk.. uploaded..
simply click thanks if its work and solved..
Hi, is anyone tried this mod for the camera issue of i9100g? thanks for a feedback
well didnt work for me..still getting camera failed error...do i need the camera.odex file too?
the old 1 some of those FC after used about a month..
now this 1 i jz uploaded haven fail me over 3 weeks.. try it out and give feed back
Not working on ICS
I get a "Camera has stopped working" error when I try run it. I am running an ICS rom so that might be the reason. I also don't have a camera.odex file in my system apps.
what rom you using?
mine was sorted right after rooting superatmos 2.1, no more camera problems
Sgs2 i9100g camera problem resolved
Guys, I think I have got to the root of the problem. I too was getting the "Camera Failed" problem on my SGS2 I9100G for quite some time. I tried everything to no avail. Then I uninstalled all applications which were sharing the resources with camera, those were the Flashlight apps. I rebooted the phone & since then I have not been getting the problem. I hope this solution should work for most of us. Anyhow guys please try this & let us know ur experiences.
Link to stock camera is dead. Could someone re-upload it?
Thanks in advance!
P.S.
I'm looking for stock camera from German firmware (I9100GXXLA1).
P.P.S.
Also, what is original source for whose 3 cameras in top post?

Maybe, but you'll need to get camera app for I91000, not G.
Also, did you try to install camera firmware update? To get it search for "camera firmware" in Samsung Apps on your phone.
No camera firmware in Samsung App

Problem solved!!!!

I need little help or better an guide.i will install gingerbread keyboard or ics keyboard app as system app,i have see it often in custom roms, but when i install it with rootexplorer/with aroma file manager or with system app installer it whant work.i have tested many different keyboard app with many different methods, but everytime when i choose it under settings-local and text it give me forceclose.
it where very nice when anyone say me how to make it,many thanx.....
edit:have solved the problem, its very easy.to make it work u must open the apk and look for the libfiles which u find under lib-armeabi,just cpy all libs to your rom under system/libs and set permission rw-r-r- rhan reboot, done.have tested with ics keyboard-kii keyboard-gingerbread keyboard, all from store and all was working.
Re: Question/need help for install Keyboard app as system app
Try setting right permissions..
rw-r--r--
Y = Check
N= No Check
Y~Y~N
Y~N~N
Y~N~N
thats a normal way for such things, anyway i doesnt work
Re: Question/need help for install Keyboard app as system app
I dont think installing by root explorer is good idea. You bettr install through normal installer.
It will install if it is supportd. Otherwise getting FC is normal cuz rom dosent support that keyboard. System app installer also does the same sort of thing you did so but automatically. But same FC will appear... even with link2sd.
If stock keyboard bothering you just deleat.
supporting is not the problem, the thing is that i have 4-5 custom roms with those keyboards installed in system,so it must work and i will known how.
problem solved, when need info just look in first post.
Great. That was also my solution when I install lmt launcher on my karbonn a30 I opened the apk and took out the appropriate libs.

Is there a way to install Xiaomi Apps in a Custom ROM?

Hi. I recently change my phone ROM to a custom one, after one year using the phone just as it came.
I installed Pixel Experience+, which its great, but there's two stock apps that I miss: Mi Screen Recorder and Mi security app.
Stock screen record was awesome: Just one touch on status bar to start recording, a floating button to start/stop and it let you record system audio and mic audio, choose 1080/720, 30/60 fps, etc. The Pixel experience+ one its just start/stop and nothing else, I don't even know if it's HD.
Security app was great too: Good trash cleaner, and a App Lock option by pin/fingerprint that it works great.
Is there a way to install those apps in Pixel Experience rom ? I tried to install apkmirror apks but it didn't work. Maybe it's something that it needs to be flashed. Or something that it just can't be done, that's why im asking.
Thanks!
ps: I just intalled the ROM, I didn't root the phone.
Some of them.
Short answer is NO at the moment there isnt any zip file that you flash it and boom Mi apps installed. (like the gapps) What you can do is to track & find which Mi-apps you want to install (manually).
What i had done in the past was to find the Mi Home launcher apk and the gallery i thing if you search you may find more apks but keep in mind that you can replace every single one app, just search for an alternative.

Thanks for the answer. That's bad new, I really liked those apps.
Yeah, I tried to download Screen Recorder and Mi Security apks from akpmirror and install it, but I couldn't.
I guess I'll have to try a third part app lock and screen recorder. Any suggestion?
uum... try to avoid 3rd party app lock (your custom rom may include that option already) as for screen recorder nop i dont have any suggestion. :|
**UPDATE 02/10/2020**
Im going to share with you what i found after some research on the web even tho i havent test anything yet from the sources that im going to link below. I hope it helps
