Thankfully i kept my noise cancellation ones i got with my Z2. Noise cancellation works great with the Z5.

Nope. Lol, but nowadays the price phones cost for a top spec model, they should have good quality earphones thrown in for customer satisfaction

Huh, seems there's lots of variations. There are some people that got the MH750, MH410c, or none at all. Probably it depends on the region or place where it was bought.

I got Sony SBH70 with my Z5 along with tickets to Spectre premiere.
And last year, Z2 came with MDR-NC31EM noise cancelling headphones. So, looks like it depends who's selling the phone.
Both phones were bought from service providers (Telenor and MT:S).
I got mh750 o2 UK suppose that they had to replace the charger with something

Yup o2's attempt to save the planet. Apparently they did a survey and many people said that they already had chargers. I got a data cable but that's it.
Funny how my Z4 tablet came with one mind.

I just pre-ordered it on Amazon.de, including shipping is 462 Euro. At this point I think it is an acceptable price.
Actually they dropped it quite a lot from 549Euro it was until yesterday, perhaps they are expecting to have stock of it soon and are trying to have it sold out.
I placed my pre-order for €509. I could find it slightly cheaper at some other webshops, but I'll gladly pay a little more to get it from a store I know can be trusted!
If I may suggest,may be price around $350-$400 will be better. Hohoho.... it will acceptable,because no front camera and 3g video call feature.

I'm actually thinking about it. I'd like it for the camera but maybe it has low memory, my X10 mini keeps "complaining" about it and I'd prefer something as 512 mb .

Maybe I was the one to miss something but I got some problems typically connected with low memory: launcher pro reloading, handcent totally laggy with few threads, ui lag when I make a phone call. I'm relatively new to app2sd. I still think that on such a phone they could put a standard 512 ram, my mini was 220 €.
It's the most interesting phone for me with the Xperia Neo and I think that Sony already received a lot of bad opinions with their decision to drop android development for the "old" Xperia family, hopefully they won't do the same mistake twice.
Still not sure when arc will be released in indonesia.waiting.....

I live in Thailand and have been waiting for Z1 release here. I don't want to import from EU due to high import duty and lack of warranty in case I get defective phone. I just went to Sony Store to see if I could pre-order one. They told me that Z1 will officially launch at Thailand Mobile Expo 2013 from Oct 3~6 and I can pre-order at Sony booth. I'll order mine on very first day Hope it'll come with latest firmware and fix superior auto by the time it is released.

I'm in Thailand, I bought from Clove in the UK and although I paid VAT in Thailand I was exempt from VAT in the UK so actually worked out cheaper even with postage

I don't think we will be waiting too long even if we don't get it on first batch. Thai market is still crazy with galaxy and iphone. I bet many Thai smart phone users don't even know about Z1.

At that price it has to be the C6902 HSPA version I'd be very surprised if it was the LTE version - still good price though

Reasonable price, cheaper than what I was expecting. I'm going to get purple Never had a purple phone before. LTE...I don't really care much about that. If it is included, well that would be great. If not, no big deal. LTE won't be widely available in Bangkok in a year or two. By that time, we all will be buying new phones anyway.

yep, you can get your device straight away. no pre-order. the page is in facebook https://www.facebook.com/sonyxpth it's in thai though. still not sure if it's 4g or 3g since sony didn't confirm officially, but their sony xp page said so. the old model that was Z and ZU both had seperate version of 3g/4g for sell with difference prices, they might do that again with z1 lol. have to wait for them to confirm officially. i don't really care anyway since i'll still get it. :laugh:

The one never-msrp was selling is the HK version. It has the Asia/Europe AC adapter. The seller did include an adapter so I can use it in North America.
I'm not too worried about it, I was thinking of getting a NA charger as a spare so I don't have to deal with a big Euro/Asia AC plug even thou I can use it.

That works for me. I just got the NA charger off ebay for $10 and genuine too.
Deal is good, but you don't get the noise cancellation earbud and desktop charger.

I sent a email to the seller ask if it was included ,the seller replied no.
Still a very good deal for someone don't want the earphone and dock.
I got mine from them and it came with magnetic dock, noise canceling headphones and US charger. Some others also got the same, others didn't since they get them from various markets.
At that price who cares which extras you get if any.

In Malaysia,it only costs RM1899 for non-Sony warranty

Probably depends on when you ordered. I ordered from this seller a week or two ago and got the noise cancelling earbuds and flip case, but no dock.
I ordered mine the last time they had this sale. It does indeed include the DK36 Magnetic dock.
With all these Z2s with defects, I wouldn't risk buying off ebay.... Just saying.

As per the noise cancelling headphones, they are a bit overrated from speaking with a Sony rep at the store since it's not that good. He pointed out, by spending a little more money, you can get better Sony headphones which they carry.
Funny some say it comes or doesn't come with the magnetic dock. The seller I think often doesn't know what is/is not included in these phones.

Its great that its a 6503 because for those of us in the US who have the international 6503, we don't really have warranties. Maybe now we can somehow get warranty work done if needed, since the models are so close.
Sony's Xperia care has you covered, it's a global warranty program that will cover you, regardless of where you got your phone.
I say this because I bought an unlocked D6503 off eBay (Taiwan 大哥大 branding), it suffered water damage, and Sony replaced it. (The white water detection papers weren't wet, the phone must have leaked somewhere else.) So, now I have English versions of the manuals

I got a new D6503, noise canceling headphones, two official docks, a 32GB MicroSDHC card and an 18-month warranty plus two day shipping for less than the phone unshipped with sales tax would've cost me from Sony.

good news for those waiting to buy / on the fence about the Z2. (like me.)
with the possibility of Sony shipping millions more of these units, maybe they've tightened up their manufacturing/quality control process, and worked out a solution to the overheating camera, the self-cracking glass, the earpiece volume, etc.

I'd really like to know more about the Sony warranty that was mentioned earlier. I am almost positive they will try to deny a warranty for a phone that was purchased outside of your region. For example if you bought a 6503 two months ago before the USA 6503 was announced, and then called Sony USA to have a warranty replacement done, they would just claim that the model nunmber isn't in their database and there is nothing they can do. I went through this with Morola last year.

They know which region it was sold for, though.
Unless somebody can show a Sony document saying this product (or Sony Xperia smartphones in general) have an international warranty, they almost certainly don't.
If anyone can afford this and obtains, please post ftf.

Just found out. US firmware is already out. What was thought was Canada's firmware as their unbranded phones is actually using US generic firmware.

Got my 32gb 5X thru online seller then meetup.. Cut my micro sim to nano sized sim and voila i lost my 4g+ signal though because i dont have lte band 8.

How much? and how's the UX? I heard a lot of buzz about it lagging.
I saw Lazada got stocks of 5x 32GB for 26k. If we translate its original US price of $429, it's around 20k pesos only. But knowing our outrageous imports and duties taxes, if we get it overseas I think it'll somewhat fall in that price range of Lazada as well.

Bought mine at hotgadgets, an online seller. As of now i have yet to find a screen protector and case for this phone anywhere in philippines.

I just saw Yuga's 5X first impression review. Within that review, Yuga mentioned that LG won't officially bring in the 5X. I hope that's not true. I recall hearing the same thing about the N4.
