Please if anyone received the lollipop update for 820 single SIM, upload the update because my phone is rooted and unlocked so I can't receive the OTA update
My phone is rooted and unlocked and i make update to Lollipop ;D
How? Wipe all data and install offical updates to Lollipop update.

I asked HTC why I can't receive the ota update...they said that my bootloader is unlocked so I can't receive the update
And btw my phone os number:
1.29.401.2...so I think I have to update to 1.29.401.5 before the lollipop update and I can't receive it

i tried to move on SD card and rename the file with 0PFJIMG.zip , after i wait 5 min i got the message <press power button to restart> but nothig,i have the same android version

Title says it all.. I read that once you root the hero you cannot receive firmware updates OTA. Is this true? If it is, then how can we update our devices?
I had a stock ROM rooted, and was able to receive the OTA update and it successfully applied.
So I have MoDaCo installed, can I install the update over it?

Somewhat. I received the update OTA but it wouldnt install due to the custom recovery image.

Not from sprint, but you can load the newest FreshROM over it and be updated. However be aware that the rom breaks the link between media being played the and bt device.

I assume there should be a download of it somewhere, if not sprint, google, or HTC, then on some forum....
attached is single sim 816x a5ul stock recovery taken from 1.49.707.1 OTA update :good:
was having trouble updating the OTA because i flashed indian stock recovery hoping it will work. Managed to extract from the OTA itself instead.

yes of course but once your phone is updated you will lose the root
Please do note that if you have performed some tweaks in /system, your OTA update may fail and cause problems. Oh, and make sure to make a nandroid, then flash the stock recovery and then perform the update. Can't go wrong when you got a nandroid.

I just unlocked my bootloader and I wasn't sure if I would still get OTA updates on the phone. If not, can I relock the bootloader and keep root access?

Cheers, what about Romania ? did you get latest updates over OTA ? Becasue here in Bulgaria there is still no updates, the latest update is l21-c432b161

Nope. My phone is not stock, but i have updated to B381, via oeminfo flash + Firmware Finder.

i had mine unlocked and rooted and still got the latest OTA update (L21 B371). boot didn't lock but had to re root it.

I rooted my phone. When manually looking for updates it says that OS was modified without permission... Will I be able to upgrade to Nougat? Do I need any workaround? Thank you.

just flash update via odin. you can flash any current firmware to get OTA updates
