Which version of xposed for T-Mobile LG Leon? - LG Leon Questions & Answers

Lollipop. The snapdragon 410 cpu. I want to be sure before I flash xposed from twrp. I would also like to hear if there are any major bugs with xposed on the Leon at this point. Thanks.

I'm not sure about flashing Xposed onto the stock rom, but on CM 12.1 I'm having no problems with Xposed. I'm currently running modules such as gravitybox, snapprefs, xgels, lolistat, youtube adaway etc. without any problems.

Been using xposed without issue on my Leon. No complaints. Flash the standard arm version. Using gravity box tweak, YouTube ad away. Haven't tried any others. This is my backup phone so I limited myself to root/recovery/backup/tibackup/debloat. Pretty impressed with this for the $55 I spent on it. Not a bad little device.

Stock ROM. Xposed works fine on CM/AOSP builds but you have to use caution when installing modules that can cause conflicts.

Would you mind listing which modules you have on it?
(I seem to remember that GravityBox LP had a warning that it might not play nice with skinned ROM's so I'm especially curious about that.)

I have YouTube ad away, YouTube background playback, gravitybox, and play store fixes, because I changed the DPI settings.
Gravitybox is for traffic monitor, status bar and recents mods. Not really a whole lot else that works in there.

I like to use GravityBox for lockscreen shortcuts and notification overrides (to make it vibrate for longer so I don't miss messages).
I'm guessing these won't work?
Also has anyone tried the Mobile Radio Active bug fix module? The Leon has the same active radio bug as all the LP devices out there- so a fix would be handy...

I don't have an answer for either of your questions. Try and see what happens. Just know how to disable xposed if a problem occurs.

4.4 Rom with 2G 3G toggle

Hey guys,
is there any 4.4 rom that has customizable quicksettings with a working 2g/3g toggle? I tried CM11, but the toggle does not seem to work atm. Purity does not have a 2g 3g toggle at all.
Xposed Framework with GravityBox is no workaround as I am using ART.
Just wanted to know if you know a rom that already supports that.
Cataclysm will do all you want.

Which ones? I just spend reading 182 descriptions of Xposed mods and didn't catch one that allows 2G/3G toggle.
And is there a possibility to tie them into Tasker?
Paranoid android now has a 2g/3g toggle

CM11. No problem with art but it's still officially unsupported.

[Q] Xposed framework? [SOLVED]

Did a quick search but couldn't find a definite answer, so does anyone know if the Xposed framework is compatible with stock rooted G2? It's the Sprint ZVA variant, deodexed. I'd really like to customize this phone a lot more but to be honest I'm really not too impressed with many of the custom roms because I've found a nagging bug in just about every rom I've tried. Stock seems to work best and provide solid battery life, call quality, etc so I'd prefer to stick with that, and customize the hell out of it.
Edit: tested, works great on stock with G2 Xposed. I am even able to install CM themes on stock with HK Theme Manager.

Doesn't work on 4.4.2. Works on 4.2.2

Thanks. I'm using stock 4.2.2 rooted. I just thought I'd ask before experimenting. I'm a bit leery of accidentally sending a phone into a boot loop that has a sealed in battery. (Though I hear volume up+ power will reset it, which is handy)

Themeing Questions

Just picked up this phone coming from 2013 X. It's nice and with xposed installed I have it almost to my liking.
Is there a way or a module that will blackout the apps/system like on custom ROMs?

I am a big fan of inverted roms as well. By using nova launcher with black app drawer background and stealth icons i got this.

I have that already. Was looking for more system/ gapps inverted.

Options for controlling app permissions

I love this phone, but the stock ROM seems to be missing the bits needed for the various App Ops programs to work. I've been running AOSP/AOKP/AICP ROMs for so long now, I totally forgot that the permissions code had been removed.
Is there any way to add the code back, so these apps will work again?
Install xposed and use xprivacy?
Sent from my XT1575 using XDA Free mobile app
I've never used xprivacy, though I've seen many swear by it. I'll install xposed tonight and check it out. Can't wait for a good aftermarket ROM. Haven't seen one yet.... bit I haven't been looking too hard, either.

Thanks for all the replies/advice. I finally got around to installing the xposed framework, as well as a bunch of modules (forgot how great it was). I installed AppOps for xposed, as well as Xprivacy. Xprivacy takes forever to setup, but has a lot more granularity.

Using Android pay w/ Xposed?

I know that there are quite a few ways to get Android Pay working while rooted, but do any of them work while Xposed is installed?
Nope. Any system mod breaks Android pay.
Pretty easy choice between Xposed and AP. At least for me. GravityBox, Greenify, Amplify, Secure Settings in Tasker. Need I say more.
