GRA-L09_C432B200 Bootloop - Huawei P8 Questions & Answers

I was rooted and unlocked, I downloaded the update, flashed stock recovery then selected install local update in the updater app. After installing the phone boots to the Huawei logo, then reboots and gets stuck at the the same logo.
I have a TWRP backup so can get back to B170, does anyone know how I can update without getting stuck at boot?

I have the same problème...

Are you sure you installed again a stock recovery?
You need a stock recovery for ota updates.
May try download the full rom and unzip it on your pc. The full rom is almost 2 GB.Copy the update file in
the dload folder on your sdcard. The dload folder should be on top lvl of sdcard.
Switch on the p8 pressing volume+,volume- and power buttom at same time till it vibrates. Now the installation should work.
But after this root is gone

I did revert to stock recovery before updating. I have tried both the incremental update and the full update.

Have managed to update. I downloaded the full update and put it on my external SD card. Backed up with titanium backup, then nandroid backup in TWRP.
Switched to stock recovery, ran local update from the updater app and the new version installed with no data loss.
Then flashed TWRP and rooted.

[Q] Updated to 4.4.2 Stock with TWRP but took the OTA update - Now stuck in rocovery

I updated using this guide:
http://www.droidviews.com/update-att-lg-g2-to-android-4-4-2-kitkat-without-losing-root-and-twrp/
All was well until I got a message for the OTA update mentioned in the post below and allowed it. I know, stupid.

So now my phone just boots into TWRP recovery and nothing seems to get me out of it. I've cleared the cache, I've wiped the phone, I've reinstalled the Zip. Everything just reboots me into TWRP. Is there a way out of this without flashing back to stock?

[Q] [Help] LG G2 stuck on Recovery Mode.

Hello everyone and I apologize if there's been a solution to this before but I couldn't find it.
I was on Rooted stock V20F, and there was a new OTA update from LG (around 110 MBs). Before installing anything i made a backup from TWRP Recovery just in case anything went bad.
So after I download the official update, the phone reboots, and boots into TWRP recovery. From that moment, I can't get the phone to boot properly no matter what I do.
I tried restoring my backup, the phone will still boot into TWRP. Tried Factory Reset, Format Data, installing a new custom rom and nothing. It always brings me back to TWRP.
Also when i try to get into download mode so I can flash a KDZ file with flash tool, it boots into TWRP again.
Any ideas? Thanks a lot in advance.
edit: I actually found the solution here (it wasn't in the troubleshoot section and I didn't notice it..): http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2451696
Is there any way to install official OTA updates without the phone freaking out?

LG V20 stuck in TWRP recovery loop. Please help

Hi,
So I must have stupidly tried to install the OTA android update after flashing LG stock rom and it justy keeps booting into TWRP. No matter if I restore the stock rom from my backup inside TWRP or flash a custom rom from the sd card. It just keeps booting me back into twrp recovery. I'm at a loss.
Any options? Just need to get back to any OS at this point.
EDIT - Nevermind, booted into download mode, used LG up. This thread can be closed or deleted.

Bootloops to recovery

I installed the latest system update OS 4.5.6 and it removed my twrp and root. Later I went to my pc to flash twrp againd trough adb and it went well and i was in recovery when i thought hey ill just recover a previous backup i had made few days earlier and i did and after that only thing my phone does now is boot to twrp even if i try to reboot to system it tries to but then just goes back to twrp.
How do I install back the system?
Edit: I fixed it by installing the stock recovery

Back to stock Nougat?

I have a Moto X Style XT1572 Indian version. I updated it to stock Nougat 7.0 via OTA when it was rolled out in India. Later in January I unlocked the bootloader and installed unofficial TWRP recovery for flashing custom ROMs. I did take a full backup of stock ROM immediately when I installed the recovery. Since then I'm using custom ROMs built for Nougat modem.
At present, how can I go back to stock Nougat? I did do a full wipe (except internal memory) and tried to restore the stock Nougat backup which I took in January. The backup always gets successfully restored. However, when the phone boots up completely and reaches the language selection screen(the first screen when the phone boots up), the phone reboots and goes into a bootloop just displaying the bootloader unlocked screen. The only option I have then is to flash any custom ROM again and they do work perfectly. So what must be restricting the stock backup to boot? Also, is there any other way to go back to stock Nougat?
anyone, please?

This thread looks like it has the nougat full firmware package for your phone. Try fastboot flashing all of it: https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-x-style/general/xt1572firmwareclarkretasiaindiads7-t3735257
If that doesn't work out, here's another trick I've seen work on occasion. Restore your TWRP backup, but do not reboot into it. After restoring the backup, use TWRP to flash stock recovery, then reboot to recovery and do a factory reset with the stock recovery. Then reboot into the stock rom. That can clear up some internal storage problems that hang things up. There are other ways to do it, but this is easiest.

I'll give a try to the fastboot version.
