A question about the 928C and T-Mobile - Galaxy S6 Edge+ Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Here are the bands 2G bands GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 3G bands
HSDPA 850 / 900 / 1700(AWS) / 1900 / 2100 4G bands LTE band 1(2100), 2(1900), 3(1800), 4(1700/2100), 5(850), 7(2600), 8(900), 12(700), 17(700), 18(800), 19(800), 26(850), 28(700), 40(2300)
Will it receive ALL the LTE bands with T-Mobile in the US?

If I am not mistaken, yes it will.

Tmobile 1900 3G refarming status

I have a 3G GSM modem for sierra wireless. It supports 850/900/1800/1900 GSM/EDGE frequency bands and UMTS B1/B2/B5/B6/B8 frequency bands.
Is Tmobile's 1900 MHZ 3G refarming completed in most parts of NYC and USA ?
Will I be able to get a 3G signal on my modem in USA (primarily all boroughs of new york city) and be able to upload and download data despite not having the B4 frequency band ?
I believe B1 is 2100, B2 is 1900 , B3 is 1800, B4 is 1700, B5 is 850, B6 is 800, B7 is 2600 and B8 is 900.

support for t-mobile 3g & 4g?

anyone working on facilitating >2g on T-Mobile network with the Xiaomi RedMi Note2?
Per mi.com/note2/specs/ it appears the device will support:
4G Network TDD-LTE (B38 / B39 / B40 / B41: 2555-2655MHz); FDD-LTE (B1 / B3 / B7)
3G network TD-SCDMA (B34 / B39), WCDMA (B1 / B2 / B5 / B8)
2G network GSM (B2 / B3 / B8)
Whereas T-Mobile support site indicates it utilizes these bands:
4G via: Frequencies: Band 2 (1900 MHz), Band 4 (1700/2100 MHz), Band 12 (700 MHz)
3G via: Frequencies: Band 4 (1700/2100 MHz)
2G Frequencies: Band 2 (1900 MHz)
Or for starters does anyone know if this type of mod is even possible given the modem chip used in the device?

It should.

S7 Edge 935F edition - on AT&T

Bestbuy sells the international version of this phone and I am going to buy it unlocked. But before I do, I had a couple questions.
1. Does this support AT&T band 30? I tried to find the info but I cant seem to locate it
2. This is rootable and bootloader unlocked?
3. Do I need to do anything special as far as region unlocking since it is the international version?
Thanks!
I can't say anything regarding the band 30, region unlocking or AT&T, but I have the 935F edition unlocked and rooted with an custom ROM (Renovate EDGE 1.0) and it works perfect :good: .
But I'm from Germany, I don't now if there are some differences.

I am sure the phone will work on AT&T, just need to know if the international version has band 30 GSM support (AT&Ts XLTE 700mhz band).

I only see here some "700" at 4G/LTE bands. Is it that, what you are searching for?

Doesnt look like 30 is on there... crap. Maybe its not their 700mhz, but a different band. Regardless they are rolling it out now so would be nice to see that band compatibility.
Band 30 is 2.3ghz, my fault.

I got it from B&H instead.
How will i go about updating this phone? Will it receive updates from Samsung, or do I have to manually install them? Being that it isn't an AT&T phone etc.
Thanks

Help: Using a T-Mobile USA sim with a European Galaxy S5 in Germany

Hello XDA community! I am hoping that you can either help solve my problem, or tell me that it is unsolvable.
Recently I purchased this phone:
Galaxy S5
Model: SM-G900F
Baseband: G900FXXU1CPH1
Kernel: 3.4.0-8193525
Android Version: 6.0.1
Now, it was region locked in Germany since it was factory reset upon purchase. I made the 5 minute call and got this all sorted out.
However, when I insert my microSIM from T-Mobile USA, it seems I cannot connect to a network here in Germany though it lists 4. I know this is possible itself because I have been doing it for 2 years with a different phone purchased in the USA. It should be noted that this microSIM I'm now attempting to use with the S5 has not been activated itself yet because I was using the older larger sim in a Samsung Galaxy Blaze 4G until now.
I've read through many forums and tried to wrap my head around if I simply purchased the wrong phone that will not work at all with the T-mobile USA network, though the specs make me think otherwise (listed below), at least at 2g (which is mostly what I get anyway when abroad with T-mobile's anywhere free data deal), or if I need to activate the microSIM in another way, or if I can load a new baseband. This is why I'm reaching out to you all and hoping someone has some great information.
I'd also like to know if I will have trouble then using this phone when I return to the USA, and also if it will work in Australia.
Thanks a ton and all the best,
EJM
