HTC HD2: Retrieve the unlocking code

Hi,
I've bought an unlocked HTC HD2 T-Mobile and I'm planning to update the ROM.
And before proceeding I want to retrieve the unlocking code from the phone.
Is there any way?
Regards.
Sorry, you need to be more specific.
What unlocking code are talking about?

Are you worried about it being SIM locked after a ROM flash, is that why you need the code? Are you aware that flashing is independent of the ROM, thus it will not lock again?

Yes... this what I'm afraid of... T-Mobile USA has a new ROM update and I'm worried about SIM locked after the flash.
Thanks for helping.
(and sorry for the delay... some emergencies).
Regards.

Bought a Mytouch 3g (T-mobile simlocked)

wanna use it with a vodafone sim..
do i have to unlock it before rooting or is rooting enough?
and.. will 3g work on other simcards?
If you want to use it with other carriers, you have to get it unlocked. Rooting wont do anything for that

Rooting has nothing to do with unlocking. Doing one will have no effect on the other

2.3.4 will be available for unlocked Bootloaders SE say

hello,
As per http://blogs.sonyericsson.com/products/2011/09/26/new-gingerbread-software-available-in-nordic-countries/#more-3743 unlocked bootloaders will also be able to update to 2.3.4.
Can we take it to mean now SE will allow phones with unlocked bootloaders to update via OTA or SEUS! Good News i think.
I can only see unlocked phones, not unlocked boot loaders...

26th September 2011.17:10 Even a blind monkey that can't read could understand. It's telling you about 2.3.4, what most of us have been using for almost a month.
Someone plz edit this thread title cuz is totally misleading
So nothing new, right?

Wrong forum, the G900F is the International variant and this forum is for SM-G900V, the Verizon variant.

Sorry, why buy an SM-G900V when what you likely need is an SM-G900F?

because I ran out cellphone in the states and a family member gave me without knowing that there were differences between these two.
and I would not say, no thanks, especially when we were going off to the airport

So you're asking if you can flash the SM-G900F stock rom on a SM-G900V? Before even answering that question you would need un unlocked bootloader which is less than likely. And even if you had one, what you propose would more than likely result in a brick.

Fair enough. You may have to wait for root to be able to modify then. Sorry for the inconvenience.

but it is possible since the bootloader is unlocked, right?
I do not think wrong?
as long i get rooted the cellphone the chances of brick the phone are minor?

Verizon Bootloaders are NOT unlocked... I don't know where you found that, but Verizon has not offered these phones unlocked to my knowledge.

I know that.
what I said was "since the bootloader is unlocked" and "i get rooted the cellphone", meaning when there is a way to unlock the bootloader and root the phone.
Thank for yours replies.
