Interference with water proof case - Verizon Galaxy Note 4 General

Just curious, I bought a water proof case for my note 4 it's a "ghostek" brand, I got it on ebay...it works really good and everything, my only issue is the sensor that knows when my phone is up to my face doesn't seem to work. I'm sure it's an issue with the case and not the phone, but I'm just curious does anyone else have this or a similar case? Amd have u had this issue? Or is there a way to adjust that sensor?

How likely is internal damage?

I'm paranoid about my technology and today I dropped my phone from about waist hight, it landed on its back and I have an insepio feather case on it but I'm terrified I caused some sort of internal damage to it.
That said, how hard is it to cause internal damage from dropping a S4 with a light case on it? How would you know besides obvious things like a screen or vibration not working?
Thanks in advance! Hopefully your responses will calm my worry's about this. Also is there manufacturer protection on phones that you bought 2nd hand (I bought mine on Swappa).

Honestly it's hard to say. Every drop can be different. I've seen a video on YouTube where a guy runs over the phone with his car and it works. My mother has dropped her phone with just a flip cover on it and it works fine. Me on the other hand, have an Otterbox Defender on my phone, because I can be a bit more rough, have a more active lifestyle, etc, with my devices.
If your phone is still operating, chances are you're okay.

Air Wake Up Does Not Always Work

Does anyone experience the Air Wake Up function not always working? I made sure the sensors are clean and no screen protector on them.
Sometimes I have to wave or cover the phone several times to turn on the screen. I did this slowly but still. I think I also had this issue with my Note 2. Do you think it's the software or hardware issue?
Thank you,
HL
I don't use air wake now but I did for awhile and it's always worked for me. I have a screen protector in but it's a Zagg with cutouts. I would guess hardware... But don't quote me on that

Out of the box plastic removal

Hi to all, I've just got an s5 and I'm wondering is there a plastic film over the heart rate monitor and flash like there is on the camera? Only asking because it looks like there could be but I can seem to get it off and don't want to risk scratching the glass
Many thanks in advance

Anyone?

Hi no there is not any over the sensor only the camera
Oddly enough it varies. There have been plenty of people asserting that they had a plastic film over the camera glass to make those comments credible. However, I have bought two S5's brand new, in sealed boxes from a major carrier that did not have the film in place. So perhaps a carrier can specify this item or Samsung may have made a running change in their manufacturing procedure.
Regardless it shouldn't be hard to detect if it is there and remove it. I haven't heard of anyone saying that there is a film on the sensors though.
.
Excellent thanks for the replies, I didn't think there was one on it but these things can be hard to spot sometimes, had one on my s4 when I got it last year on the home button for months without realising and that was hard to remove lol

Screen Sensitivity

I've been having an issue with the screen being too sensitive. I am using an Otterbox Defender case, which seems to exacerbate the problem somewhat, but it seems to be overly sensitive even without the case. I've had both the S3 and S5 (and had a Defender on the s5) and never had a problem with screen sensitivity.
Anyone else have this problem? Solutions? Just the case, my individual phone, or the model?

Proximity Sensor issue ... I think

Hey guys,
My Oneplus 5 is working fine without issues but when I make a phone call and have the phone up to my face on almost every call the speaker phone ends up going on by itself. I think this is because the screen is turning on even though the phone is up to my face which would probably be the proximity sensor. It might be worth noting that i use the phone on my left ear as I am a lefty. Is anyone else having this problem and does anyone know a solution to this problem?
Thanks!

Are you using a screen protector that covers the sensor?

No I'm not using anything but a cheap gel back protector.
I have the same problem. But I thought the screen was turning on because of double tap to wake .
Same issue here, I even started a thread about it weeks ago. Seems like there must be a dodgy batch of sensors.
I'm going to send mine back under warranty once I can get my 6o back from my daughter so I have a backup phone.

I have the same issue. I used *#808# to check whether the Proximity sensor is working as it should. And it does. For me it more looks like a software issue
