Miui ATM is not portable.
We need KitKat sources for do that, or maybe someone can port it from miPad2 (Intel) but ril and camera will surelly not works.
So if you don't have a flashable zip of miui for zenfone 2 then please close this thread or move it to general section.

The problem is that we need kitkat sources for Zenfone 2, but this device is born with lollipop, so port is not possible

Such threads are considered as Placeholder threads and as such violate XDA Rules. Thread closed. OP report this thread when you are ready with Rom download link and kernel sources.

Well, you're new here, that's why I'm writing this.
Yes, RN3 will get official CM14.1, only if a developer willing to support it. There are plenty of CM14.x ROMs here at XDA, out of which that will become official whose developer agrees to work hard and update it with nightlies.

Xiaomi is my number 1 most hated mobile brand, still on Android 6 how pathetic, ffs the Samsung Galaxy J5 2016 has Nougat planned for it (yes a different brand but still same year)

Stick to v9 - 7.0 never ever going to this tomorrow.
Why did there build this rom when a newer port is working so good???

Seriously I wl never go back to miui official ever.finger crossed . Miui 9 port by orochixxx is my daily driver now and Hopefully they will fix the bugs like cam recording, brightness very soon...so *** k miui official.

This is not a port, this is official rom from Xiaomi. This is first Close Beta rom Miui 9 China Developer for rn3pro, 7.8.28 is first close beta for all phones from third batch.
Official link,official rom and md5 its good.
I test on mi4, redmi4, redmi note 2 and redmi3.

As we all know Leeco LE MAX 3 and 2 have an alpha EUI 6.0 Nougat. Just asking if someone will port it to Le 2.

After facing loss in Tv business & mobile business with dues not paid to creditors it has stopped selling phones in many international markets leaving China as it is its domestic market. So Eui updates are only rolling out for China region only & maybe some Le 2 max roms have unoffical updates on Xda are available. So dont expect for Eui 6 for Le 2 in future.
If you want a really good rom for Le 2 try Miui 10 global 8.9.20 + Illusion kernel V 3.0 which i am using as my daily permanent rom which is completely bugless i get around 5 hrs of sot with medium usage which i got through Le 2 telegram Channel. below are the links for rom & kernel hope you will enjoy.
You can get the Illusion kernel only in the Le 2 Telegram channel posting link for the same you go & download kernel from there.

After facing losses in Tv business & due not paid to creditors it has stooped customer support in international markets leaving China so update are only rolling out for China region only & maybe some Le 2 max roms unoffical updates on Xda are available. So dont expect for Eui 6 in future.

You want Nougat but I want Pie, haha. Its impossible for leeco to add pie. They are not increasing security patch level then what expectations to increase the android version?? motivate some developers (like Aurel, SagarMakhar) to build Eui 6 custom rom (Small Eui V4, Slim Eui v2) with some extra tweaks , features and security patches + oreo(if possible)

Hello everyone,
I've seen few days ago a new that has shown up about Xiaomi releasing official firmware source code for Xiaomi Mi Max 2!
This is really great news and I hope that there will be ROM porters soon!
Beside this I have seen that ported LOS by @xuefer thread is locked due to not complying with GPL but maybe he is interested into continuing his work on LOS?
I love device but I hoped for a bit more development. It really ticks many points in terms of hardware.

no worries, development is slowly but surely starting now we have RR, LOS, AOKP, Mokee OSP for AOSP based roms already, so thats nice plus a ton of MIUI based custom roms. im sure it will only get better from here on out!
