Moto G 4.4.4 Update starts rolling out on UK

It wasn’t that long ago when published about Motorola’s update plan for Android 4.4.4 KitKat. They were already in the process of working on 4.4.3 and then got the notice about the security patch in 4.4.4. Motorola halted the work they were doing until Google was able to send out the Android 4.4.4 update to them. Once they received the 4.4.4 update they began working on it, and now it’s finished. Motorola is in the process of sending out the update to carriers around the world so prepare to see your update soon.
The update even includes some features that are not present in the Android 4.4.4 change log. All Motorola received from Google was a few small fixes and then a security patch for OpenSSL. Motorola added some additional features that we have seen added to other Motorola devices. They ended up updating the phone dialer, they added the ability to pause and resume video recordings and they enabled the ability to download Motorola Alert. The most recent information about this update was it being sent to Vodafone customers in the UK.
If you have a Moto G or Moto E and have received this Android 4.4.4 KitKat update, then please tell us about it in the comments’ section below. Don’t forget to mention your network and how the update process went. If you end up seeing any additional changes that were not mentioned in the change log above, then definitely let us know.

Stagefright OTA update discussion

Hi All,
Let us discuss the release date of stagefright OTA for Moto G3 (Build LPI23.72-XX ) and if captured any OTA I can put the link in OP.

CVE-2015-6602 Vulnerability still exists on my phone

I just recently took my phone out of root for an update that I couldn't do while rooted. I thought it was the Stagefright security patch and it appears that it wasn't. I ran the Zimperium stagefright detector and it shows that I am vulnerable to the cve 6602 2015. I called Telus tonight and they said that the patch for Stagefright was put into the phone in Oct 2015. I didn't own the S5 in October so I wouldn't know so what can I do about getting this patch on my now un rooted s5 if that is possible? Thanks for any help you might be able to give. Zimperium says that my phone is still vulnerable.

How to update to official nougat from 1st oct patched soak test??? Please Help!

Please Help Urgently!!!!!!
I have updated my Moto G4 Plus (XT1643) from Marshmallow to Androud Nougat's soak test which has 1st October 2016 patch, now since the official update is out with November security patch and also is bugs free i want to update my phone fromt he soak test to the official latest build beacause the soak test with 1st October patch was very buggy.
Thanks for your help in advance.
Appreciate it
I think it is possible if you restore the phone, and when it boots again it does a forced update, looking for possible OTA updates.
I do not know if it would work well, but for trying...

NPIS26.48-36-2 Moto G4 Plus Update January 2018??

Has anyone ever received this update?
NPIS26 is for G4 Play (26 is Nougat 7.1). We're supposed to get February security patch, not January.
In addition to georgeiulian89's post, Nougat updates for G4/Plus devices begin with NPJ25 or NPJS25 (N for Nougat, 25 for android 7.0 in this case). If the original post is in reference to the tech droider article, then yeah, I concur the NPIS update is only for harpia/G4 Play devices.
To confirm, it looks like this update is already being received on G4 Play devices: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=75514543&postcount=98
