Finally received the Lollipop update for the Wi-Fi version. Yay!
Hmmm... it's 5.0.2 which I'm aware has issues with bluetooth devices.
That's an old update that fixed the Bluetooth issue, P900 is not at 5.1.1 yet, at least the WiFi model. Hoping that Marshmallow will fix the audio Bluetooth issue

Hey Yoshi, do you have info indicating the p900 wifi will skip 5.1.1 and go to 6.x (marshmallow)?

It could be possible, but no sources or info provide that it could happen. The SM-P607T just got 5.1.1. With the Note Pro 12.2 still on 5.0.2, I think it will just go to 5.1.1 then to Marshmallow. Other Note Pro's from AT&T and Verizon are already updated to 5.1.1

Just had confirmation from Samsung UK tech support that they have no plans to release 5.0.2 for the SP-P900 in the UK, and it will stay on 4.4.2, despite the fact that the rest of the world is on 5.0.2.
I think dreams of 6.0 or 5.1.1 are effectively dead, and we are looking at a flagship product that has been abandoned.
My warranty is out in just over a month, so it's custom rom time for it, and a pledge to never buy another samsung product again.

Android central just reported that a kitkat 4.4.4 update is going out for t mobile note 10.1 (link above). I was quite surprised to hear of a 4.4.4 update, especially when wifi only note 10.1 s have yet to receive an update since the 4.4.2.
Wondering if anyone else has any other news? Or any one experience with what the 4.4.4 brings to note 10.1? Looking forward to seeing what Sammy did for our note 10.1, plus hoping we will also get a lollipop 5.0 update in the future too.
If you ask a provider, whether there will be an update for a branded device, and they don't have the least clue, whether the provider will make any generic update as a base ever, they say "maybe, possibly, probably" and such, like politicians. Surely there was not a "yes" involved.
I like having card writes for my non stock apps so will stay with 4.3. Works fine.
I got an update notification for my p600, I didn't take it though so I wouldn't lose root
Hi Joey121215
Which firmware do you have now?
I just got the 4.4.2 update today.

Thanks!
Rooted (and a bit of a rookie) .
I can't update OTA and checked Sammobile, but 4.4.4 isn't there.
Suggestions on how I can get stock 4.4.4?
Hey,
Does anyone here know when is the release date of Android 5.0 for SM-N9005 SNAPDRAGON INTERNATIONAL?
I really want to have it in my phone
If you really want it now, you should consider flashing the leaked rom with odin. I have it on my device for about aa month or so, and it's very stable no problems and fewer crashes or reboots than KitKat
I would prefer to install OTA
Any expected release date?!

Don't expect SM-N9005 android 5 ota soon, Samsung still releasing 4.4.2 ota ( Australia and France in January)
I'm waiting ☺

Not really. It rolled out what seems to be a soak test in a couple of territories and has since seemingly pulled it. The german DBT / multi CSC version wasn't even rolled out via OTA only through Kies.
Now it's unavailable on kies leaving users like myself with unbranded German DBT (CSC model) devices completely unable to flash it without downloading it from external sources and using ODIN.
Lollipop 5.0.1 seems to have gone officially into 'limbo' and were all guessing what this means for us. Perpetual wait for 5.0.2 or 5.1 ? Why did they stop rolling it out ? Are they going to fix and update to newer material design contacts/dialer/messages in a new lollipop version ?
Basically we just don't know and as per usual - play the Android waiting game.

I'd rather wait for the 5.0.2 version that the S6 is shipping with than use the current version. Or even better jump straight to 5.1.

you're right. Actually it's getting pretty bizarre. Samsung was hinting a Lollipop release in October 2014 (I know....hinting is no date) That was FIVE MONTHS ago without any information from Samsung. I HAD to install the DBT lollipop rom because my device was working very bad on KK (out of the box lot's of lags/crashes - had it tested but no solution) It's a better now but i'm not happy i'm actually still running a beta.
Right now Samsung is more focused on the s6. We have to wait but it's a bit strange indeed.
I feel your pain bro. My device (N910U) received its last update 73+ days ago: http://live.samsung-updates.com/index.php?device=SM-N910U
And Sammy is pushing out Note 3 updates...
You know, I don't complain.... Much.
But yeah, I'm with you. You don't just leave people dangling. Samsung pissess me off so much sometimes.
Here we are, holding the Note 4, and I don't know about you but I feel very not proud of my flagship phone.
I'm a first time Samsung user but I'm going back to the Chinese. Huawei treats me like a God every time I buy a flagship from them. I bought the note on a drunken whim. I love the pen!
However, is too expensive and I hate feeling like a school-child waiting for goodies.
I can't wait for the P8.

The 5.0.1 Lollipop rom is apart from some small bugs fine. If it was a soak test, why have they released the sources for it?
What ticks me off so much is the freaking lack of device priority in this update nonsense, not one S5 or definitely any NOTE 3 should be getting this update before the Note 4, we paid the big bucks for it; we should have top priority since it's the newest device (apart from the s6, but still that's far off) . and apparently the Sprint Note 4 is getting the update roll out today when T-Mobile says they haven't even received the update from Samsung yet. This is really starting to tick me off. Next flagship Windows Phone rolls around I'll be out of this game, I didn't have to wait for carrier approval, I just got it plain and simple without wait.
2 us carriers have it now
Just flash German lollipop I did it yesterday and it works flawless

It has already been said a million times and confirmed by Oculus themselves...The delay of Lollipop has nothing to do with the gear VR...
Those of you who are so eager to get Lollipop while having the N910F variant, just flash the Polish firmware and there you have it...others with the N910G/H will have to wait though.
Still waiting! Anyone know the delay? Who have got it in Europe? Germany. Poland. Anyone else?
ive been using lollipop for a few weeks now.
IMO its crap.. it really is not better then kitkat.
if i could downgrade back to kitkat without loosing my apps settings and files i would do it right away
I recently reverted back to stock rom from CM12 since I bought the LED wallet, and it only works with TW. My phone is on 4.4.4, so I tried to update the software, and it says "The latest updates have already been installed."
Does this mean that Lollipop hasn't been released for N910G variant? Also any ideas on when it might be be released?

Android Lollipop update has not been released for the SM-N910G and SM-N910U as of March 29th, 2015.
SM-N910F and SM-N910C updates has just picked up pace and it will spread to other models within weeks at the latest.
Hello the update to android lollipop 5.0.2 just arived my device.
I was very frustrated the last time, cause there was no uptate for my device,
but it just came out.
Well I am hope that the time to marshmallow will not be so long
Moto E 2015 comes out of the box with 5.0.2! You must be talking about some other update. And update to marshmallow is mostly not gonna come Motorola didn't mention this device in their list

This is not right. I bought my device in a normal store for electronic goods. The device has no brand, is a regular device and 5.0.1 was installed - not 5.0.2

I think he said that because some E variants shipped with 5.0.2 (such as the Verizon variant). Some of the international variants are behind in updates, 5.1.1 (w/ stage fix) is the one that's desirable.

I've noticed a lot of people keep saying that were on version 5.1.1 but we're not we are on version 5.1.

This is true, and that may matter for some things but the important thing in this case is that Moto posed a 5.0.x update as 5.1.x, which is shameful, and there is a years-long pattern of failing to update that we want them to fix.
