I'm on the i337 . After using a method with towel root to root on 4.4.2, when I rebooted I had no service icon and when in mobile network settings it said insert sim card to access mobile network. If I try to check the IMEI with *#606 it says mobile network not avaliable I tried flashing the stock 4.3 and pit with odin and no luck. What can I do? I sometimes get wifi and never get signal again. This is so frustrating been working on it for over 4 hours. If you could solve this, I would be extremely happy!

So I installed this Xposed module called something like network booster or manager or something like that. It was supposed to put your phone in 2g when screen is off and 3g when it's on. Stuff like that. Well it killed my network and I have an X on the network. First thing I did was uncheck the module and reboot. Same problem then I deleted the cache and data of the app and uninstalled it then rebooted. Same problem. I update profile and PRL same problem. Then I checked my APNs and still no luck. So then I factory reseted. Same problem. I dialed *#06# and I have a IMEI number so it's not Null. I don't know what to do next? Also when I go to mobile networks it says insert SIM card but I didn't have to do it before and if I enter a sprint SIM card it will erase the boost flash. If anyone can help I definitely need it ASAP.
Also my phone was flashed to boost so I'm not sure what to do since I don't want to erase anything I'm not supposed to and I hope I didn't already do that
I have made a prior thread regarding this issue in troubleshooting/help but no-one is biting and I REALLY need this solved. PLEASE.
I'm not a 100% sure how this problem occurred, I believe it was after flashing an S5 custom rom called: "RC Elite S5 Port V16" To my Samsung Galaxy Note 3 (N900W8). From what I was reading it was a ROM that "converts" your note 3 to a note 4 or s5, while still having all the Note 3 features. Another possible cause is trying to use RegionLock Away.apk by Chainfire to essentially(unlock) the phone. I feel like this is the main cause though as this affects the modem on the phone. This isn't the SIM as I tried it in another phone and works fine with calls and texts.
IMEI and serial number show the exact ones on the box. I have the latest updated firmware (stock) from Samsung Kies 3 AND Sammobile. Here is a list of pictures from an app I installed prior "Phone INFO Samsung" from the GooglePlay Store.

I skipped "DEVICE ID" section as it is 100% legitimate IMEI and Serial Number.
My phone doesn't want to register its mobile network anymore. When I try to make a call or text it says:

I was reading online for about 2-3days now for possible solutions that can cure this. Such as:
1. Going into Mobile Networks settings and manually register [failed, details below]
2. Going into Mobile Networks settings, hold home button for 2seconds and then hold power button + home button for 15seconds [failed, details below]
3. Taking out battery while the phone is on and remove the SIM card, clean it and re-insert [failed]
4. Factory Reset [Failed]
5. Wipe Storage and re-flash stock ROM [Failed]
6. Turn on airplane mode, restart and turn off [Failed]
7. Reflash stock firmware without SIM card installed [Failed]
8. Completely discharge the battery, recharge [Failed]
Options 1 & 2 do not work because when I try to access Mobile Network Settings I get this:

The SIM card is inside the phone though...
So what I did is found a mobile network options shortcut "program" from GooglePlay Store and installed it. It allows me to access the menu, which is great! Now, when I try to register the SIM card to my correct service provider (BELL CANADA)...it will make me wait for about 1-2minutes before I get "Unable to register, try later" error...even for automatic registration. If you look, you can see I have full reception on my toolbar at the top...but, when we look at the actual connections everything is unknown and/or disconnected. Even my phone number!
I tried the factory restore with a stock 4.4.2 ROM from Sammobile/Samsung Kies3 and the issue is still there.
Is there anything that anyone knows that can help me resolve this problem? I tried EVERYTHING i can possibly find on Google.

Bother, I'm sorry to tell you this but you need to restore to the factory rom, through kies on your pc, and after that go to recovery boot and make a back up of your modem and efs, then wipe all data, system, cache, dalvik and internal SD, install rc lite, and restore model and efs!
This works for me every time this happens when trying out new roms, good luck friend!
I had my phone working, them I did a data wipe/factory reset because I was selling the phone. however after the reset, it can not recognized any sim card, but show full signal bars and emergy call only message. I can not even access mobile network menu :S

Try re-flashing the stock ROM from sammobile.com in Odin.
I updated my Zenfone 5 A501CG from Version TW-2.22.40.540 to Version TW_3.24.40.87. Now my mobile data connection (AT&T) does not work. In an attempt to resolve this issue I have tried the following:
Factory data reset
Deleted AT&T APN settings and added them back
Safe Mode
Wipe Cache Partition
Moved SIM card to slot 2
After the above failed, I completed the downgrade back to KitKat Version TW_2.21.40.44. During the initial setup my mobile data connection started to work. I proceeded to upgrade to Version TW-2.22.40.540 (data still working) before finally updating again to Version TW_3.24.40.87 which has broken my data connection again.
What can I do to fix this?
