Differences - N6P UK vs N6P US - Nexus 6P Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Has anyone information about differences between NEXUS 6P from US and 6P from UK? I am curious about LTE band and frequencies. Because I am able to buy one from US, I wonder if it will work well in Europe.

Couldn't find the UK Google store, but usually the nexus falls in America and international. Here's some screen shots of the Japanese store and the American one.

Tx a lot for this. Ah well looks like I can't do the buy in US switcheroo. US SKU doesn't support my UK carrier LTE band .

No problem. If the Japanese version weren't nearly $100 more and it came in gold 128GB version I'd get it, only so I'd have gold in the US lol.

I was looking for the bands lists and found it on Huawei's website.

Latin America LTE bands 4 and 28 are necessary.

Well, probably you'd need the A2 then. It has 28 and A1 does not.

That's the version that supports European LTE bands, correct? Looks like a pretty good deal.

GSM should work anywere in the world. (Call/sms...)
Call your carrier and ask witch GSM and LTE/4G band they uses. and check if your bands are listed under networks on http://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_galaxy_note_4-6434.php
(Works in Norway)
Consider support raymanfx to port CyanogenMod 12 to N910C Exynos:

The N910C version is capable to work with LTE cats from 1 to 7. So it works fine here
La versión N910C es capaz de funcionar con las categorías que van del 1 al 7, por lo tanto van a funcionar correctamente en Argentina.

T-Mobile LTE Band 12

I'm living in NYC and imagine that all the latest and greatest tech as far as LTE is concerned is enabled here. I've done a fair bit of reading and have been able to conclude the following:
1. T-Mobile has LTE Band 12 enabled
2. the oneplus2 has support for band 12.
so my question: how do I get the phone running on band 12? seems like a simple enough thing to do.
edit: I should add that using LTE discovery app from play store I'm seeing that phone uses band 4 exclusively.

The phone will bounce to Band 12 when band 4 is notably weaker the the areas 12 signal. I am happy when band 4 is my connection.

Nexus 5X - Band 12 Working (6.0.1)

Have an area in my office complex where Band 4 gets no signal (T-Mobile USA)
Using the FULLY stock Factory image for 6.0.1 MMB29K and getting Band 12 (plus VoLTE still works and WiFi Calling as it did before)

This is awesome news! Thanks for posting!
Wooo Hooo :victory:
Tempted to just flash the new image but ill wait for a flashable zip.
I know what I'm doing tonight.
I imagine all we need is the 6.0.1 radio and band 12 will work on any ROM you choose to run.
Thx for sharing, excellent news
Dumb question, does ATT have a band 12?

Yes, but this thread refers to the 700MHz band for TMO which they call extended range LTE. ATT hasn't implemented it yet and when they do, they'll need to update the software on the phones that have Band 12.
Another stupid question. Does this require extra actions or is this running out of the box with the update? You guys loose me with your tech talk .

Regarding band 40 support (model XT-1643)

after rooting my moto g4 plus i figured that there is no support for LTE band 40(band 40 is a part of TD-LTE) in the indian model of moto g4 plus , i even checked in the LTE settings >LTE band selection > it only shows operating band 1,3,5,8 but not the band 40 (which is the primary band for indian lte services)

It supports band 40 together with band 1,3,5,8
I can confirm this as I am using Airtel 4G which operates only on band 40.

They will work, however Verizon had some features stripped from their version of the Note 7.
There's a list somewhere.
Work but slow internet speeds..
I am using it Verizon Note 7 on AT&T network
It will work but with HSPA network getting upto 12 MBPS. The LTE bands that AT&T uses are locked out by Verizon.
The best way is the flash the AT&T ROM on the Verizon phone and then it will work like AT&T phone with even AT&T boot up logo. Also then Verizon bands will be locked out..
