Is there any info on the type of AMOLED display used in this phone? I hope it isn't the same one in the Nexus 6, and the newer one from the Note 4 for better colors, brightness and power efficiency.

yea, I'm really not impressed with the screen quality on the Nexus 6. My wife's Galaxy S5 is more vibrant and isn't it the same type of screen?

Galaxy Tab uses a new LCD tech.
iPad uses the S-IPS display tech.

For those of us who don't quite understand the technical details... Lower voltage = better power efficiency and a single light field = better viewing experience right ?

where did you get that image from? if you have a source i can try finding the image as i would like it too
these are some alternatives
I found a picture of the Nexus 10 with the same wallpaper. It might look ok if you crop it so you don't see the edges of the device, but it probably depends on your screen's resolution. It looks pretty nice on my GS3

2 different white tones in screen

Got my new Note 4 and so much enjoying the clarity of the screen...but observed something now
Screen is more whiter on the top half of the screen and below half is more of yellowish white...[emoji31]
Do anyone else has this? Possible defective unit?

Defective Amoled Screen on S7 Edge

Has anyone's Amoled screen giving them problems? I just had to have mine replaced because of a defect. I had a green flickering line all the way on the right of the screen. I am hearing about many defective screens recently.
