Wow these are some serious temps... although i have the exynos model it gets hot too but i have never measured it... But to be honest i havent be able to feel the heat as i am using a case... Don't know what its all about , but it cools down really fast... I wouldn't worry though... I mean you should start worrying when you get other hardware issues and you know that are attributed to the heat .

That's really weird man :/ it should be something with your battery or cpu , cant find anything else :/ if the problem persist i suggest you demand a new device or at least to change the battery or the motherboard :/ Hope you find something out

[Question] Please Help XDA Gods

I just bought a second hand t-mobile HD2 last night which i intend to install android and wp7. The phone worked great for the first 2 hours before i put my sim in (it was in my mytouch 4g). I pulled the battery to put the sim in and once i turned my phone on i get 7 vibrates and it stays at the stay together screen. The longer i leave the battery out of my phone the longer i can use the phone for. It always freezes and restarts. I looked at the pins in the back but they seem fine.
Edit: Just stress tested it at 1.5ghz for 3 mins hottest it went was 31 degrees Celsius. I honestly have no idea what the problem is
Heres a video i made of it the battery was out for about 3 mins

AND put your question in your title! PLEASE. Nice pictures, though!
Someone's obviously had it apart for some reason, and that doesn't bode well. Can you try it with another battery, just to rule out a battery problem?
is that better?

Drain Battery without Galaxy 3?

I ordered a new battery but its gonna take some time before it arrives.
By the time I was thinking if there is any way to drain out my old battery without using my Galaxy 3?
Maybe like attaching a light bulb?
Is it possible?
why do u wanna drain out the old battery??

w h y ??
I don't know.....
Just curious I guess.....
Or is there anyway by which the phone stops calculating the battery left and then directly switches off when the battery becomes 0?
And my new battery hasn't arrived yet.....
Maybe with a LED... not?

Don't do anything like this, it could kill the battery or even be more dangerous.

The battery is already as good as dead.
What worse could happen?

galaxy note heating issue

Dont u feel gets overheated while playing games or charging or while hardcore using ur fone..Is der ny solution to this problem? I cant even make calls as the phone heats up my ear too much
It's normal that the phone gets warm when playing games or using it much...
Try find out what the temp of the phone is when it's hot...
/CK
51°C as told by elixir.is it normal?
It gets particularly hot when I browse the Internet nonstop for about 10 minutes.

I have been around 51°C, but normally around 47°C when my phone is working hard. So guess it's kinda normal...
/CK
yep, mine gets really hot when I run the WAZE app on it as well as if i'm listening to streaming music on it. Unless i hold it up to the A/C vents in the car, it will get too hot for me to put it up to my ear to make/receive a call.
I also have problems when I use it as a navigation tool on my motorbike. The waterproof sat nav case prevents circulation and after 20 mins I get a message that battery charging stopped because of to much heat. Figuring now out how to add some vent with a fan/vent.

And with current consumer Law Samsung will have an obligation to either repair or replace the device.
use your phone as normal.
Yes and the only solution it is undervolting the gpu and cpu with some app like tegrak, setcpu or cpu master
I swtiched from LR1 modem to LPT today and I swear my phone is running cooler. I've used it the same as I do everyday and I can really tell it is cooler. Although LPT is slower in speed test for me I think I will keep it for awhile.

Screen bug or normal ?

Hi Xda,
I was happy with my g2 till it hard bricked itself In jully. I send it to the after sale service and now, my phone is back. Yeah after 3 month, the Lg support in Switzerland is very very very very ****ty. It's clearly my last LG phone.
Anyway, my phone is back but if i push pretty hard on the screen i can see some glitches

Thank you.

Thanks, yeah i know what's happening when i push on a LCD, but before i never see that on my G2. On my 100$ china phone i can push hard on the screen and nothing happens.
I don't push very hard on the G2 and i see that. I tried with another one. He didn't have this problem. That confirm me that the customer service in Switzerland is ugly.
Are you sure that they used original parts?
How can i verify that?
It's under warranty and it's the center agreed by LG. They don't have any interest to use non official parts.
I dont know.. Maybe its just a glue not cured enough. If you have uv lamp try that.

Thanks for the tips, i'll try that. I have a little UV lamp. If i put the phone in an dry incubator at 30°C it could be good too?
No glue cures only under uv light

XDA Bounty on 10/2014 now one year ..... OK ?? Go on
If This is suppose to be permanent why didn't he reboot the device to prove it.
I thought the same thing but he did power it on himself. That's what I was thinking. It didn't look like a reboot.
This wouldn't be a developer device running retail firmware????
Sorry but I'm finding this to hard to believe.
I thought we would never see root.
Man this can't be real I just gave up my note4 a week ago for this edge.
