[ROM] Xiaomi Hongmi stable (DE/EN/CN) +root / -root

Welcome to this Xiaomi Hongmi MIUI stable Release. You will find here the latest stable ROM.
This ROM is for the TD-SCDMA and WCDMA Version of the Xiaomi Hongmi (Red Rice).
We present a full rooted and unrooted Version for this Device. The Version is in german, english and chinese.
You dont need to root ur Device with an extra tool. Its prerooted directly after install.
If you dont need root then you can install the unrooted version.
The Version is based on the original stable ROM from Miui in China. Its not a Developer Version with weekly Updates.

Thanks for putting this here. It is hard to find info about this phone in XDA. I am switching from S3 Mini. My only wish is we will get MIUI KitKat someday. The unofficial S3 Mini KitKat made it a great phone.

I flashed Both Vibe Ui and Also Amigo Os , Both need refurnishing and should be bug free .
Amigo OS
1. Control Centre didnt show up for me
2. Double tap wake up didnt work
3.Google Keyboard should have been integrated
Vibe UI
1. Very slow during flash and reboot and boot up also
2. Camera is a bit dull
3. Chinese still hanging there
4. Xposed is giving up bootloop
5. Freedom is not supported

AOSP does not let you move your apps to SD card. If it is your primary phone, do NOT flash AOSP. I am now stuck with only 4GB to install my apps, 'cause I can't find the stock ROM.

Internal sd temporary fix
for those who are unable to fix sd card problem. all you need is sd card.
first get xposed running and the install its module XINTERNALSD and enable it.
and reboot and set default values for sd card to /sdcard1/ for all apps including system apps.
so after this whenever you'll install an app it will get installed on your sd card.
also to free some space from internal sd.you can delete /root/data/core
hope it works

It seems anyone who tries to use Windows icons on any other OS always makes it look horrible, I think Microsoft realised this and went with their Metro UI look on Windows Phone.

After installing on Mi 3 I can't go to recovery mood. Its always sends me to fastboot mood.

I have Mi 4 Lte (2gb + 16 gb)
Did a clean install (full wipe of everything) + latest gapps. I certainly like and miss the look and feel of kitkat (it was my favorite by far). And if would be great with the latest security patch because all the existing kitkat roms are outdated.
However, Mi 4 Lte has no 4g option in settings so no 4g, and I get force close/not responding on Hill climb racing 2. So there are some issues with this rom.

Edit: after use twrp to flash this rom , install Flashify:

And flash recovery.img via Flashify
After progress done , just click reboot .
Now you are entering CWM-base Recovery.

Hello for everyone, im still using a miui rom port by epicrom ( sourceforge), i m still using a version with android 8 base, i have some question:
I can just install this new version simply with TWRP? because that new version have a new vendor image ( because this version is 9, and another versions are 8)
Or i need to flash new vendor first with fastboot mode and after that flash new rom?
Someone try to install that new version? ( available on sourceforge epic rom )

Usually, the (official) MIUI Fastboot/TGZ ROMs flash more 'deeply' than their Recovery/ROMs
Maybe you could achieve by flashing recovery/zip ROM plus a firmware (but not sure if MIUI firmwares come as recovery/ZIP installations)
When you are already going to do that, you could look on Xiaomi.eu for the latest stable MIUI 11 ROM for davinci (it's like a debloated official MIUI)
Xiaomi.eu ROM would either be for flashing directly by Fastboot (bat script, not for MiFlash) or even the recovery type for TWRP. Their ROMs (even when recovery types) are usually self-sufficient, hence usable for downgrading, un-bricking in some cases, etc
