Ouch $849 that's pricey, the 5x will probably be $529/$599 cad. Im out, not paying $700 after taxes/shipping for a phone that barely has any new upgrades compared to my nexus 5.
Wow, I did not realize how much CAD lost value over USD. Back on N5 release, the rates were closer.

They were 1:1 back then, my n5 was $399 cad back then. Now its brutal, 40% higher.
From what I read, the price on the Canadian 32GB 5X will be 559.00. I ordered mines from States, so I can get the $50 Google play card. Plus, is cheaper in US when you do the exchange rate.

That's reassuring. I have never ordered an OEM case, including both the Nexus phones I have owned. I also ordered the flip case for the wife so we'll see how it works out as well.
In the shipping waiting room thread quite a few people noticed the status of their orders changed this morning from "pre-ordered" to "pending". Mine has also changed. I'm not expecting one but it would be nice to see a shipping confirmation email sooner than expected.

This time their down to just refurbs mostly but still at $99 and $149 (16gb and 32gb respectively) its a steal.

Supposedly at 6PM (Central) they will be the prices listed above until they sell out.
This is only going on at the HP's official ebay page.

I would personally get the 32 gig, but its all in how much media your gonna want, it has no sd card or expandable space.

The Nexus 4 is not going to be sold at Newegg. The GNex sold at Newegg is NOT the Play Store one, it's the white phone.
I hadn't realized Google stopped selling the Galaxy Nexus, interesting. Depending on the state you live in the Gnex used to cost $360-400 after shipping and tax from the Play Store. You can still find it for $360-375 shipped on Amazon or Google shopping.

I know BestBuy has good discount for 2013 edition, but nothing on 2014 ed. I could find so far
I just asked BestBuy if they'd give me 10% ($60) off on the 32gb white model as they didn't have the black 32gb one in stock and they gave it to me. I can live with white.

It appears you are correct. I think I was looking at the cancellation policy on pre-orders. Guess that's what I get for posting after a few drinks. :silly:
I thought this was odd. Last year's Note is Best Buy's Black Friday "deal." And at $389 for 16GB it's not much of a deal at that.

Just received the unit. Seals on both ends were broken. The box had dents on all the corners . There's clear tape missing on the sides of the tablet. The camera is covered, but there is protective tape on only one of the sides. The screen protector was crooked as well. Im wondering if this unit is refurbished. On hold for 25 minutes. Spoke with a very nice lady and explained everything to her. The unit doesnt appear to be damaged. I have 30 days to send it back. She said it is their practice to open the boxes to inspect before shipping. Not sure if thats true. Anyway, as long as I dont find problems with it, I'll keep it.

Bought it directly from Samsung USA. Tablet seems to be operating just fine. I'm ecstatic about my wireless keyboard working in tandem with my mouse on this tablet. I'm using a muti USB adapter, plugged into one of those dongles. I forget the name ATM. So far, so good.
I'm using Next Launcher and getting no lag. Very smooth.

Hmmm, when I added it to the shopping cart, it included Tax for me in Florida. That was the deal breaker for me.
Best Buy is now advertising $45 off. I'm still hoping for deeper discount after the holiday.

At least for me Amazon has state tax. And these days, Bestbuy price matches with Amazon and Samsung too, so makes more sense for me to walk into Bestbuy and try getting this one for 50$ less

That's an AWESOME price for what is still one of the best phones out there performance-wise.
Anyone own a Moto x 2014 before they bought the Nexus 6. Is the battery life and camera much better? I suspect them to me about the same as my Moto X.
That is a great price. I have the 64G Nexus 6 and it's fantastic. I read that the 2015 Nexus will have a little more than 5" screen. The 6" screen of the Nexus 6 is a great feature and it will be hard for me to settle for a smaller screen in the future. My old SGS III screen looks tiny.
If you just bought this phone like I did within the past 7 days from amazon they will credit the difference because of the price drop -)..... Oh yes you have to contact them it does not happen automatically..

This was too good of a deal for me to pass up as well. I've been going strong with my N5 for a while, and was probably going to keep it if Google released the 6.0 image with T-Mobile WiFi Calling, but I had to jump on this.
I was waiting for a few more details to be more concrete about the new Nexii phones, but so it goes. This is a steal of a price, and I've wanted to try out the bigger screen anyway. Everyone I see with either a Note, N6, iPhone 6 Plus, etc etc all say the same thing...once they got used to it, they can't imagine going back to a smaller screen. Good call for those of you who went to Best Buy and did the price match with them. I thought about checking it out, but was hoping I could skirt a bit of the Illinois sales tax through Amazon.
Looking forward to getting my N6, should have it on Tuesday I would think. Amazon shipping says Sunday, but I highly doubt it'll actually get here then.
I know these phones will work on Verizon but does anyone know if Verizon will actually activate it if the IMEI is not on their white list? Would swapping in the SIM out of my current Verizon HTC M8 work?

This is the quandary I am in as well...I just sold my one plus one and an lg g3. I'm using an s5 for now but really hate all the crap it took to root and the limited development. I loved the one plus it had active develoment but missed the wireless charging from my s5 and nexus 5 before that. I think this may just be the right phone, wireless charging active development only thing missing is no fingerprint scanner and no SD expansion. There really is no perfect phone right now...

Ordered a black one from Google. Delivery 15-17 Nov. A bit worried now the photo samples have been posted that I've made a mistake.

I've ordered from Google the XL 64gb panda, unfortunately for me my ship date is 18th December!! Weighing up whether to cancel and order from Carphone Warehouse as their ship date is listed as 20th November. I'm really looking forward to getting it as it's the first phone that's really piqued my interest since my trusty Nexus 6.

On announcement day I also got a text from EE to say I could upgrade early (from my 6P) so before I could stop myself I'd pre-ordered the 64gb all black version. I hate having to pay out on a two year contract but I'm a full time student and just can't afford to buy outright.... Well I could but it wouldn't eat or have electricity for a month or two lol. I went full stock (for the first time in years) when I initially flashed the first develop preview of Oreo so it should hopefully feel like a seamless upgrade. In fact I'll use my 6p to root, Rom and flash now I'm getting a shiny new Pixel XL.

Just watched the link you shared, the video stabilisation on the Pixel 2 XL was light years better than the iPhone plus..... Can't wait to try that feature out myself now.
