Any Dev that can port CyanogenMod to this device? Pure Android is clean and naturally debloated without the LG OEM junk. And the UI on CyanogenMod stays stock Android. There's currently a beta CyanogenMod ROM but the development is so slow that its taking months just for an update. I think CyanogenMod is better than any other ROM out there. Although its nice to see a debloated ROM based off stock.

I was having real problems with my atrix, to the point that I activated my insurance and was sent an Atrix2. I need to flash my atrix back to stock.
couple of questions...
1. would you switch to atrix2 ( I can probably send it back and cancel claim) if you could recover the 4g?
2. how to flash back to a stock rom?
ART
I would for sure try to keep the 4g over the atrix2 check the noob guide should be a walk thru on setting it all back

I guess flashing Fruitcake is the easiest way out.
Download latest 2.3.6 fruitcake, go into recovery and update from zip file.
Thanks
I will be attempting to keep the 4g
I was able to flash back to the latest official via fruitcake
You all were a big help, I appreciate it.
honestly you should try CM7.... in my opinion its way smoother and way better than official ROM.
But you know....each has their own taste!

CM7 has the Car Home app. Although I'm not sure if it's as good as Cardock. The CM7 Weeklies provided by Atrix-dev-team are pretty stable for weeklies, and they have fingerprint sensor support! You can even use it as a sort of trackball!
Neutrino is an awesome rom with cm7 and a cool fingerprint lock screen. Check out the picks in the dev thread. U can also get the finger navigation feature

NO, but we are working on a environmentally green kernel that will allow you to run everything at half speed and get battery life of 3 months per charge. As fast as this tab is, you won;t even notice the difference..:cyclops:

If u use ti backup, DO NOT RESTORE YOUR DATA WHEN U RESTORE YOUR APPS.... YOU WILL BREAK APPS FROM UPDATING AT THE VERY LEAST AND WILL PROB BREAK SOME ALL TOGETHER... ASUMING U DONT BREAK YOUR INSTALL.... ONLY RESTORE JUST THE APPS NOT THE DATA WITH TI BACKUP...
there, I feel like I saved someone some hasle today , merry Christmas !!!!
Oh and PS:
Do not back up and restore system apps, that will def EFF u up
Your best bet:
Use a root exploring file manager,
Navigate to /data/app , and copy the apps you want to save and paste them to your SD card
Next repeat except from /system/app (be care full here u really prob don't need anything from here, but just check, and remember only downloaded market apps)
After upgrading use file manager to install from SD card ( navigate to where they are and click on them and let droid install them)
HINT: THE FIRST TIME U TRY TO INSTALL IT WILL WARN YOU ABOUT UNKNOWN SOURCES... PRESS THE SETTING BUTTON THAT WILL POP UP AND WHEN IT BRINGS U TO THE CORRECT SETTINGS PAGE CLICK THE CHECKBOX NEXT TO UNKNOWN SOURCES...

Hey guys, I'm working on porting Liquid Smooth to the N5110 and am gauging interest.

These are probably the only bugs for now, will update when a new bug appears, btw nice rom I love it!

Note2 KK port progress/to do ( Development status )

This thread is here as a source for you guys to find out the progress off my port.
I am porting KK from Note2 to our International S3 i9300 because Samsung have failed our beautiful device.
Do Not ask for an ETA as all you need to know will already be in this thread.
TO DO:
modify our kernel to work on new KK build. ( 99% Done )
everything else is done And i am Now Just writing a new Update script And modify ramdisk is all to do alter that.
As soon as i have flashed And checked RIL Data And wifi work Ill release in new thread in dev section. Thanks
Wow great news All the very best bro. We are waiting
Awesomeness brother seriously hats off to all your efforts if im not wrong your the same guy who tested it and has also posted videos I really appreciate your efficient contribution and also understand the risk you took up by flashing a different device firmware watched both your videos as of now ril, wifi, storage isn't working and Samsung gave lame reason as ram consumption is high but in your video it ws somewhere around 500mb good going mahn all the best fingers crossed!!! do we need partition the sd card..?
Will be interesting to see how this goes. The hardware is very similar. Do they both use the same Wolfson DAC?

Q&A for [ROM][G900V][NI2]EXTREME SYNDICATE v2.1! READY NOW!
Some developers prefer that questions remain separate from their main development thread to help keep things organized. Placing your question within this thread will increase its chances of being answered by a member of the community or by the developer. Thanks for understanding and for helping to keep XDA neat and tidy!
Hi all. Is 2.1 using Android 4.4.4? Why isn't it using NE9? (Diff between that and NI2?) Are there any known bugs to this release? If so, could we expect a 2.5 release semi-soon? I'm scared to flash due to other people's troubles so far but have been eagerly waiting an update! This has been a near-perfect ROM for me who likes minimal and stripped down. Making it even more stripped down starts to make me worry though. Haven't any experience with mods other than viper4android. Is that HX camera mod better than the included camera in ExtremeSyndicate 1.5?
Sorry for newb post.
there isnt much dif in ni2.. just a newer version.. it is more debloated but you dont really need to mod anything.. just simply install/push what you want to the phone

That is correct. Find a Android keyboard apk and place it in internal storage or on sdcard. After you have flashed the ROM use the "My Files" app included in the ROM to install the keyboard apk. That is how I understand the process. I'm not sure, but trying to install the "L" keyboard might not be a simple as installing an apk. I think, but not sure, there are some supporting files that you need for the "L" keyboard to properly function. A simple, no frills keyboard may be a better option until you're up and running and then try installing the "L" keyboard or other keyboard from the play store.

Good to hear. I'm not sure about the dark theme, we'll have to ask elliwigy. As far as Google Calendar not syncing, elliwigy removed more "stuff" for this build, he may have eliminated a file needed for sync.

Gotta stick to your guns man! Ignore the special requests that fall out of your scope of support and if they don't like it, then oh well. Good to see you're still around :good:

+1 on what BigBot96 said. Your ROM is exactly what I had been wanting for years. A lean, fast, great battery ROM that provided all the basic functions of a smartphone without all the BS bells and whistles. No matter what you do, there will always be someone who wants something different than what YOU want. Let potential users of your ROM know up front what you offer and if that doesn't "float their boat" they can either not flash your ROM or they can add what they want. Let them know up front that you don't offer or support a "buffet line of options". They can like it or, well, leave it and go flash something else.
I miss this rom! For all my devices, with all the roms I tried, this was my favorite. If I could build a rom (which I can't), I would have built something almost identical to this one. You stated you stopped developing because you were busy, tired of trying to debloat more and tired of getting flamed. I accept your stopping as version 1 was to me perfection, and I agree, it would have been so hard to improve upon it.
I tried a couple of other roms. While good, they were not nearly as perfect as this one. I think I'll go back to version 1 to see if I can figure out what is missing from version 2. Then it's back to glory for me. Thanks for all your hard work. I've been busy traveling that I didn't take the time to tell you thanks man. Happy holidays. If you build another rom, can you post a notice here. All the best.
version 2.1 was updated to ni2 but before i could theme n work out some kinks i shut it down.. i was working on the opposite but ran into some issues with 5.0 apks not working.. I will be posting a new rom as soon as we get 5.0! i already have a working list of what to debloat (based on disecting the g900f build) so you will see me again! In the meantime, I have been learning to code since ultimately I want to create apks for various things

I never did understand why people expected stuff to be added back into a ROM when it's main purpose was to be "lighter" with each update makes no sense to me lol. Anyway, I'm running V1 and it's simply awesome! I just rooted and installed V1 on my wife's phone today (she actually ASKED me to root it lmao, I about fell over) but I would really like to have the flashlight toggle that appears to be included in V1.5. Is there an easy way to get the flashlight toggle? Is there a link somewhere for V1.5 (I haven't found one yet)? Can I dirty flash it over V1?

Nevermind, I found the older builds in your ROM thread. Thanks for all you do! I'd rather use an iPh0ne than a stock Veriz0n S5. Not really, but close lol.
I will be updating rom to L hopefully by end of tonight!
