It's only compatible with lollipop for now. Don't try flashing it on stock 6.0

Modified kernel + Custom ROM = Notification light
Only works in Custom ROM, If you don't, the correct procedure, you may have a hard brick. During hard brick, the device’s kernel gets messed up, mainly due to incorrect ROM or kernel installation. (Kernel being the base which interact with the hardware).
Hi, as I have unlocked my bootloader and rooted the moto x play..will I still get update? Or I won't receive any updates..

you'll receive updates but to install it you'll have to unroot and flash stock recovery. and then root again if you want.

i have moto g4 plus xt1643 indian variant and flashed stock firmware, but after the flash my phones name and baseband got changed.i dont know if i flashed the wrong rom or what.(sorry for 2nd thread)

another thing my bootloader shows athene only where as normal moto g4 plus phone show athene_f.would be great if it gets resolved here otherwise would have to go to service center.also upload the link from which you downloaded the rom.
The plus is athene_f. The rom u mentioned is correct.

So what is causing this?moreover I think when I flashed the cm by tea*** it changed the device name etc in my bootloader.Can you upload the buildprop of your device ? So I can change my build prop according to that.
