First of all sorry for my English because I'm Brazilian ...
I bought this unit a few weeks ago (operator Claro) and fell in love with him. I saw that I can upgrade this machine to get even greater performance to what I have right now. In my country does not have this update (just speculation) but if you do this update, I will lose my warranty. I am afraid of this happening and therefore wanted to backup the ROM of this unit. Is there any procedure to make easy explanation, like the ROM manager, because this software is not the model of my machine. Can anyone help me?

Comprei algumas semanas atrás este aparelho (operadora Claro) e me apaixonei por ele. Vi que posso atualizar este aparelho para obter um desempenho ainda superior ao que tenho neste momento. Em meu país ainda não tem esta atualização (só especulação) porém se fizer esta atualização vou perder a minha garantia. Tenho medo de acontecer isto e por isto queria fazer o backup da ROM deste aparelho. First of all welcome to the world of SGS 3 on XDA.
About you loosing your warranty by flashing is not correct as long as you flash a ROM properly and which is meant for your phone and region.
And there's no current way of backing up Full ROM yet. But you can get backup of all your apps using titanium backup and if you want to get back to stock just flash back the ROM you have currently and you can get any ROM from samfirmware.com.

As far as I know there is YET no kitkat (PT-pt) update for this tablet.
I'm in the same situation.
Probably when the warranty voids (2 years from now) we'll have an Update.
Portuguese way FTW.

Yes, look here and search the Forums there are articles about it (sorry I don't really have any link ;P ).
Anyway if you're NOT in the EU lookout not to trip the Knox Flag tripping this flag will VOID your warranty outside of the European Union. If you're in Portugal no need to worry.

Mas qual é a version da tua note ?
A mine é 605 (lte) da MEO e já instalei (algumas 5 vezes) a 4.4.2 e volto sempre à 4.3 original simplesmente por causa da aplicação Meo Go que não funciona no kitkat, qualquer uma das versions kitkat que estão por aí funcionam lindamente em PT.
Já agora porque é que não há problema se alteramos o estado da flag da garantia ?

O teu modelo é o SM-P600 (só wifi) e o meu é o SM-P605 são dois aparelhos que apesar de serem parecidos por fora por dentro são (bastante) diferentes...
Não sei se é boa ideia actualizares para a versão 4.4.2 se não tens experiência nenhuma nisto, pode correr alguma coisa mal e depois ficas com um lindo e caro pisa papeis. Aconselho-te a esperares que saia a oficial para o teu equipamento (pode demorar um mês (??)) e acredita que vais ficar desanimado porque melhorias pouco ou nada e diferenças estéticas só na barra de status (encolhida) e nos ecrãs de definições onde raramente vais.

Desde já o meu obrigado por toda a informação e esclarecimento.
Acho que vou optar pela primeira opção, ou seja não vou mexer em nada e esperar que saia para este modelo, antes que faça asneira.
Eu só queria instalar por causa de algumas aplicações, mas nada de importante.

THIS IS NOT A COMPLETE GUIDE just a reminder of a list of steps to update SM-P600 to the new KitKat.
For a complete Guide you should head to this thread and this one.
I AM NOT responsible if you screw your device.
So for all the "tugas" out there, Samsung won't be releasing a PT-pt update anytime soon so if you want the new 4.4 KitKat this is what you'll have to do:
Go to sammobile (Sign Up there if you haven't already)
Search for your device in our case SM-P600
Download SPAIN version (or any other for that matter I recommend this one)
Download Odin 3.07 or up
Install Samsung Drivers (the easiest way is to install Kies3)
THIS IS JUST A LIST OF STEPS! READ THE FOLLOWING 2 LINKS to understand the process and to NOT screw UP
Before starting the actual update process I strongly recommend that you read this and this first.
Now lets get to work:
Open Odin
Put Firmware file (*.tar.md5) in PDA
While you wait Odin Computes your MD5 to check if your file is not corrupted put your device in download mode:
Down volume key + Home button + power button
Connect Tablet to PC and wait until the PC and/or Odin recognizes it
Then it the Start button
Wait until it finishes.
Done enjoy.

Historicamente, temos as atualizações maiores cerca de 2 meses depois de toda Europa ter sido atualizada. Sendo assim, imagino que receberemos o Marshmallow lá por Abril \ Maio. Mas como nossa ROM é a mesma da Australia, nada impede que você troque o CSC pelo ODIN com um flash da ROM australiana, que é uma das primeiras a ser atualizada sempre. Não vai alarmar o KNOX, não se preocupe.

Ainda não, estou com ela em meu 920i e até agora nada. Pelo que vi lá no SamMobile saiu para o 920L e pro 925k, ambos coreanos.
Infelizmente, Samsung sendo Samsung, uma pena...

Hello everybody, i'm the ower of a tablet samsung galaxy tab e sm-t560, from Brazil. I would like to ask for your's help, because, my tablet are acting strange, most apps are when using, for example, i'm using Youtube, or Instagram, or a player to watch movies in the microSD. I already tried the following options:
1) using without the microSD, the problem for a while solved, but it retorned. (I changed the microSD to get out of doubt if it was him.)
2) Reset and install of stock rom from odin. The same problem happened.
3) Reset and twrp, install again custom rom, the same problem.
4) Wibe everything, and install, custom rom again, with twrp.
Now i'm using the way it is, but it's horrible, it almost crashes every time i'm an app that is heavy, youtube for example. If any of you know samething how to solv this problem, it would help me a lot.

You see, that's the problem, because there isn't a specific custom rom, for this device. there isn't Lineageos specific for this device. took me a long time to find this light rom in the forum. The problem is that even the stock rom have the same bug, and the other problem is that this device is no longer updated.
The version that is available at brazil, is still in the kitkat.
I'm using Lineageos 14 ( Nougat) on my tablet, smt560. This rom is made for smt561,that is basically smt560 with 3g. It works really well for me.

Your model is sm-t560NU, because there is a difference between them, in my case, my tablet is not snapdragon.

E como você fez pra instalar o androit 7.0? Eu acessei o site que você passou, mas eu fiquei com algumas duvidas, por exemplo:
-quando você instalou o TWRP, você instalou o do T561 ou do T560?
- foi fácil a instalação ou deu algum bug?

Eu instalei todos os arquivos citados no final do post( updated ROM (Build Date: April 19, 2018), Gapps, boot.img, fix softkeys, SuperSU zip file to regain ROOT).
Leia atentamente o as atualizações contidas no final. A instalação do TWRP poder ser do smt561 ou smt560, visto que a diferença entre eles é só o 3g. Quando instalado, a rom vai ter os aplicativos para telefone, basta que você os desative ou desinstale usando root.
O único bug que eu tive foi com a versão anterior, que reiniciava sozinho, mas já foi resolvido. Na versão atual, não deixe de instalar "boot. img" e "softkeys" logo após instalar a rom. Só depois instale o Gapps e o SuperSu.

Ok, compreendido. Só mais uma duvida, a instalação do boot.img e do softkeys é dentro do TWRP? E os Gaps qual deles você usou? O nano, o stock, ?

Tudo usando o TWRP, logo apos instalar a rom. Em relação ao Gapps, uso sempre o nano por ser menor.

Tem que trocar a opção de zip para img no próprio TWRP.

"Install image" na mesma janela em você seleciona o arquivo zip, dentro do navegador de arquivos.

Obrigado pelas digas, e desculpe o incomodo, nas configurações eu achei oq estava fazendo ele ficar com a cor bege, muito obrigado mesmo pela diga do nougat, quero usar ele agora e ver como ele tá.
Só mais uma duvida você recalibrou a bateria dele como o cara falou no final do post do site?

É o LiveDisplay, que retira a luz azul durante a noite. Você pode desativar nas configurações de tela.
caiansousa, mais uma vez obrigado pela ajuda e peço desculpas pelo tanto de pergunta, obrigado pela luz no fim do túnel, vou usar ele aqui para ver se saiu os bug da outra rom e por conseguir atualizar pra uma versão mais recente desse android. Samsung é boa, mas no quesito atualização é foda ter aparelho de entrada.

Por nada. Sei bem a decepção que é ficar preso no kitkat. No fórum onde o desenvolvedor da rom participa existem outras versões. Só procurar por " galaxy tab e 4pda". É um fórum russo, mas dá pra se virar bem traduzindo pelo Chrome.
