[Q] Smart Lock not found in security settings - P8lite Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Can anyone find Smart Lock menu in Huawei P8 Lite?
In Settings/Security/Trusted Agents
I have Smart Lock (Google) enabled
But I cannot find Smart Lock menu: Trusted Places/Trusted Devices/Trusted Face/
I am running Lollipop 5.0, ALE-L21C432B132 build.
Thanks!
S.

Same here, does any one know at least how to get it on or something? I don't even have it at Trusted Agents.

Now I have build B170 and no change ;-

Any news?
I can't find it either...

No change, still have to unlock my phone when I drive my car. I hope it will work in 5.1.1

??
Not sure if this is what you are looking for but I found an option called smart unlock in 5.1 beta.
On the option it says "Smart unlock lets you unlock your phone with a Bluetoothdevice, such as a smart wristband. Just set an unlock method and add a Bluetooth device to start."

Yes, this is it. You pair your smartphone with your car's Bluetooth and then you do not need to unlock it when driving.

s pen configuration file

Hello, I just bought a note 4 and the s pen wasn't working. I've tried it on another phone and it works fine, but not on mine. Neither does a new one work. I tried s pen reset app and says "s pen configuration file not found" . I have android 5.0.1 and SM-N910C rooted. Thanx a lot.

My first thought is to reflash the stock rom through Odin as it will contain that file plus all connections needed for it to execute. Then re-root.

Thanx for the advice. One question, will this mean it will no longer be unlocked? My concern is because I live outside the US.

Shouldn't affect carrier locking/unlocking but I have no experience with that.

Anyone using Android Pay and Mate 8 successfully?

So does Android Pay work ok for you? Are you rooted or unrooted?

I'm using it no problem. I had to unroot, relock boot loader (it's status is locked not relocked) to get it going. This is on a L29C432B180 device. The EMUI 4.1 beta's do not work with Android Pay, at least they didn't when I tried about 6 weeks ago.

I'm in Germany, so no Android Pay at all...
Working in the UK on an NXT-L09C636 B170.
Originally it didn't work when Android Pay launched, wouldn't let me add my card. It started working after a few weeks
Ah so that's why it doesn't work on my unrooted stock 4.1EMUI. I was going crazy wondering why I got the "can't be used" error as my phone was never rooted. Sucks. Does this mean I have to downgrade to B180? I wonder what new features would I lose?

Did you ever get this working?
If so, what did you do mate? it's driving my crazy!
thanks
I think because B320 and B321 are beta roms, Android Pay will not work. Google have been trying hard to figure out why AP will not work on my stock unrooted rom. Maybe they only work on officially released roms such as B200.

Disable Lock Screen

Hey guys, does anyone know how to disable the stock lock screen on the Axon 7? Thanks!
If you are rooted, and have Xposed
It exists a module that i downloaded here on XDA.
You can search "LockScreenDisabler xposed"
I am using and really works.
No need to reboot after enabling or disabling.

I read somewhere that you have to disable your finger print first, then you can remove the lockscreen.
Please note, you will still have to slide to unlock but wont have to do pin or password.
