Is there any way to get it working? I don't want to be forced to use the GMAIL app for my other accounts.

I've registered my gmail account with the gmail application but was wondering how I would go about dissociating my account from the app. Any help would be appreciated.
Also, what is the best way to get real push gmail/hotmail? What are the settings I should be using? Is it better to use the default android email application for push email or the gmail app?

Looks like yahoo mail and ymail was screwing up and not allowing logging in to check mail. anyone else have this issue?
Only issue I have had is that it does not always tell me I have an email. I have a few times been kicked out of it and then when I logged in on my PC had a message saying that my account may have been compromised. After changing the password I was able to get back in on my phone. After all that the app never seems to update and tell me I have an email. When it does I find I have about 10 of them. This is with no settings changed.

If you are talking about the actual ymail app,I had nothing but trouble with it.I configured the stock HTC mail app for my yahoo account and it works flawlessly.

Hi, there's some apps like (Kik messenger, Instagram) that you only have one account to log in, I have 2 accounts on Kik/Instagram and I can't log out then login to the other account again and again!
So I want a way to install the same application twice! Is there's any way?

Think the app needs to support multiple accounts itself. If it doesn't then I'm afraid you're out of luck.

I pull up my Contacts and search for someone but it doesn't also search my Global Address List (GAL). Definitely need this for work.
Now I am running a lite version ROM of Stock and am using the KitKat 4,4 email and exchange services. My guess is that this might be the problem but wanted to see if anyone is able to use the stock Contacts to access their GAL.

I have the Verizon model stock rom rooted with TWRP installed. At random the email app stopped working and I couldn't get into the Exchange account I had set up.
I installed the updated stock 12b rom in the hopes it would fix the problem. Now the email app takes me to the account setup but I can only choose IMAP or POP - the Exchange option is missing. Are there files missing or does anyone know why I have this issue?

Hmm. I don't know what your issue is, but you can install the 4.4 email app and the exchange apk and rock it that way.
