OK first I've got the French version of the phone In 5.5. Since the last update we've got when you activate the widgets by a long press on the screen you see as before the different windows of you're phone. On the OneTouch stream one there is now a switch button available to deactivate it. Voilà !

Yes the phone is more reactive, double tap works fine, camera is better.

And what about sound settings? Does the slider gets more steps? I just don't understand why the alarm is so loud at minimum level...

Since the beginning I've never had this problem of sound. In European countries there's a legislation wich oblige the manufacturers to limit the sound of the phone. But also I've got a 5.5 and I've read that the 4.7 sounds louder.
To end with this, the sliders are all quite well progressive.

I don't have that button on my 6039y. All I see are those 2 windows when I long press on the screen for widgets activation. Any ideas?? Firmware 5.0.2-070FMN1

Try using ultra power saving mode if you're not going to be using the phone for a while

Yes my reception was full, i was even in "only 2g" mode while sleeping i enabled 3G/2G mode when i woke up .. so i really don't understand !
Sync off, location off, wifi always scan off, no facebook app, .. i made a factory reset and still the same ...
My s5 is similar lots of wakes... no idea why, also with mine...I've turned off wifi yet it still says it's on....

The wifi always on is due to the "Always scan" option on the advanced settings on the wifi menu. Look for it and disable it.

I try this apk in my z3 dual but my problem is that i can't delet this app or unistall it.
Also it is in chinease
Since installing it my battery life is terrible. I've hardly used my phone today and I'm down to 19% battery which is ridiculous. Normally I'd still have over 50% by this time of day after charging the night before. I only normally charge it every other day.

If you ask for uninstall it, then you go to Settings/ Security / Device Administrator - and uncheck this Sony Lock App.
After that you will have option to uninstall from App drawer.

Damn you Flyme guys really suckes, still on android 5.1 while there are app's that NEED android 6, and 7 on the way. Lucky for us MX5 owners that the bootloader is finally unlocked, now we can trow this flyme garbage away! I'll never buy a meizu anymore unless the bootloader is unlocked! -,-

Hi guys,
So when I was at Portugal, my JY S3, was working perfectly at 3G & 4G.
For professional reason, I had to move to Switzerland, near Lausenne.
According to them, they have coverage around 97/98% of the country with 3G, and around 90% for 4G. By the way, I bought Swisscom card and it supports 4G speeds.
But my phone, was never connected at 4G. And 3G only on some places.
I've checked the band modes on the phone, and my question is, if I can activate more bands?
I have the latest MadOS, 7.1.2, and I read somewhere that the Engineering mode is not working anymore.
According to this website, the phone is fully compatible with the Swisscom frequencies.

Yes I've checked the apn settings, and have confirmed against the ones from the Swisscom page, everything is the same.
Later on, I have found this website, which has the frequencies used by the carriers, and it has an option to check the compatibility of a mobile phone, and curious, the S3 is fully compatible.

There is a setting under mobile network. Prefered network type. Change to LTE

Try looking for Samsung good lock 2018. You can find it in Samsung's app store and it's 100% free. You can make notification bars black, change/add buttons to the navigation bar or create your own, pick your own colors for quick setting buttons, and much more like customizing your lock screen. You do not need to be rooted to use this free app. It will do exactly what you are looking for.
