Last year, I used galaxy note 1 (N7000), but I can still use the i9220 rom. So I think the international version can use any kind of rom. right?
With GALAXY SII(Korean version), after installation .pit file, I use international rom without seeing any problems. Hope someone can explain

Nope, not with G2. International Variant is not compatible with other versions. You will end up with serious problems as @bravho mentioned above.
I'm curious, why do you want to flash ROMs which are meant for other versions, when you have multiple options available for the International version?

So I'd ask something similar: has cm11 been ported to the Korean version (f320)?
I've been reading around and found nothing so I think I know the answer, but who knows...
I was seriously considering getting a G2 until I found out that the 32GB is only leaving us with less than 25GB usable... Hence the Q about f320 and CM11... (I don't want LP or M for now).

What is diffirence between the international Version and others?

Dear all,
I'v just bought the international Version D802 32G . So i want to know what is diffirence between the D802 and the ATT,Tmobile version? I see it the same in everything, so can i flash the ATT rom to the D802 phone?
Many thanks
+1. Getting mine soon and i am confused as hell.
just my 2 cents.....
on the S4 we could do it, but only after we had the ability to install custom kernels for our device. I would assume the same will be true on the G2.
Once Kernel source drops and custom kernels are built, we can probably flash away :silly:

I have the D802 and could do the IORoot method, saying it detected an ATT/TMobile Phone.
Haven't tried TWRP or the ROMS though, since the kernel may be different.

[Q] note3 n9008 available roms?

Hi guys, my dad is bring a n9008 back from China. It has the qualcom 800 cpu onboard. I have done alot research on this phone, and only found the guide to root and flash recovery. So my question is: is it possible to flash roms made for other variants( such as n9005) onto n9008? Since the n9008 won't support the wifi calling from TMO, i would rather put a CM or AOSP on it.

is it possible to flash a tmobile rom and have the wifi calling working?
as always, you got your phone from china, get help there, in other words, if you want support, get yor phones in your own country, imagine this, you will get a warranty also, is not that amazing?, yes you save some money buying overseas, or from a no one knows about seller, but, at the end, you get no support, think abot that in the future,
Pray its not a fake

well i got the phone as a gift. so its not my choice at first place.
so far i'm able to install all of the n9005 roms(x note, omega, lidroid) and everything works flawlessly.
the tmobile rom can be installed normally, but i just cant turn on the wifi( it stucks at turning on screen)
anyone got a solution to that?
Now you can install a CM11 ROM!
I too have been given a GN3 as a gift but it's the N9008 model.
I tried flashing the latest N9005 KK stock firmware, but I had no luck.
Do you know if there's a possibility of "changing" the model to a N9005? Hardware wise I believe they are exactly the same?
I imagine LTE is also not on this particular model? Am I correct to say that all Snapdragons are capable of having LTE? Would it be the firmware that "enables" LTE?
I don't really want to be on the Chinese firmware.
I've rooted the device and got gapps on their, but I'd rather a proper international firmware.
If anybody can help, it'd be great.

LG G2 F320 [ROMS Support]

Hello folks,
I was looking around in the G2 section and All I noticed is ROMS and MODS everywhere, but sadly they all have [D800/801/802/803/LS|VS980] in their titles except for a very few!
I am an owner of an LG G2 F320S (Korean Variant) and I want a GOOD ROM for it and all I can do is stick to the STOCK ROM because all the ROMS around are not for my device. except for (VDT, Sling, CN V5, LAMHOANG, Flex[new])... and all of these roms are also Korean! except LAMHOANG.
In addition to that, all of these ROMS are 4.2.2! I would really like to get the most out of my G2; it's such a great device with exceptional capabilities!
PLEASE for all people who support me in asking developers to include a F320(LSK) version of their roms, vote above!! :good:

Thank you for the post. I am new here at xda and have had my G2 F320 for just a couple of weeks now. I'm trying to learn more about available roms for it. From what I understand it is not possible to flash the international rom on the F320, but I can't find any explanation or verification. Will continue to search around. I want to get rid of the korean numbers on the dialfunction above all. Anyway - I totally support your idea: PLZ include F320 version of roms!

Thanks! Really appreciate it! I found it earlier but I had some problems installing TWRP on my F320. I will try to do this first. I had CMW installed but after a failure in flashing HK V1 custom rom I couldnt boot into recovery mode. Tried all kinds of different combinations with the physcal buttons (power and volume) but couldnt get it right. Maybe you or someone could help me there? Its very interesting to learn more about android since i used to have an iphone. I really like the LG G2!

Forget about the TWRP on F320; I already tried all the possible ways to get it but failed! Therefore, the best solution (which I personally use) is to get the CWM back from here(http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2468858) and then download the ROM "LAMHOANG" and flash it using CWM, I have it on my F320 right now and it's fabulous

So... It's not possible to flash G2 International ROMs on a Korean G2???
I thought G2 will work the same way as Optimus G but I guess not, huh?!

[Q] Which is generally better? Korean G2 or the international G2?

Hello I'm back to ask again. So I have decided to get a G2 by next year. Now here's my problem, which one should I get? The korean one or the international one?
I know the korean g2 may have carrier problems but i have learned that it does work here in the Philippines.
So what is generally better? In terms of flashing ROMs, support, difficulty of restoration, performance? Thank you guys!

Don't buy Korean if you want many custom roms.
I have F320K and the battery is not that good compared to international G2.

I think you should choose International Version.
I have F320L Korean but it must wait longer time to have a good rom like international version.

[Q] SlimBean for i9505

Hi, I will probably be picking up an i9505 as a backup phone, and I'm actually really excited because it looks like I can put the final 4.3 build of SlimBean (build 2.2), which I ran on my S2 and it was honestly the most perfectly configurable rom I've ever run on a phone - as similar as a lot of the rom's that came out around that time were, that one had a couple options that I couldn't find on any others, and they made it exactly what I wanted. Anyway, so that I don't brick the phone the same day I get it, can someone confirm for me if the version listed as "jfltetmo" on the SlimRoms website is the corrrect one? This is the T-Mobile variant, but it's the only S4 listed there. The thread in the i9505 original development forum is closed, and the op lists it as being "jfltexx", but that doesn't exist on the SlimRoms site. It's baffling to try to figure out with so many different variants, so that's why I'm asking here, thanks to anyone that can help me!

Yes, jfltetmo is T-Mobile. jfltexx is the international version of the S4. The one that's neverlocked, so to say.

I guess my question is, are ROMs compatible between carrier-specific and unlocked variants?

Of course. It is the same phone after all. The only difference is the software. It also depends on the carrier. Some lock their bootloaders.
