Need help rooting - Capacitive SC GPS Navi Android 4.4 2 Din 7" Car DVD Player Stereo

I have never rooted an android device and rooting something as fragile as a HU makes me nervous but I am needing to do so because I need to make my USB storage as internal storage. I am desperately trying not to brick this unit. I have read several threads regarding this but everyone seems to take different approaches and they have different car stereos than I. Not to mention I cant find a single user running Android Version 4.4.4. My unit was updated.

Any ideas? I attempted to download Baidhu Root vs 2.4.6 and its asking for a password to unzip it.
You have an AN-21U.
You don't have 4.4.4 no matter what the settings screen says. You have android 4.1
Research the root methods from the AN-21U thread. Or better yet, just install RedMod (avail in that thread). Pre-rooted.
Just curious is Redmod an entire OS? Also I flashed it with 4.4.4 .. it didn't come that way. You sure it's still 4.1?
Rooted it with Redmod and everything seems to work fine.

I am wondering any one of you own this kind android head unit. It seem it won't let me post the link, it is head unit that have dvd behind the screen it flip open. the color is silver.
I have some issue with apps, such as sygic, co pilot, and navmii make a lagging when navigating, and iphone connect to usb or over bluetooth for music not working so I hoping there's update that can fix these issue.

I click on android version 4.4.4 several time and it show up say 4.2.2. That's not 4.4.4 just let you know.
Let me know if you need a file for android update, I have it on my laptop.

After Ive saw it with a new android version and Ive asked to seller the firmware:

Ive updated HU from settings/general/system update and now HU has got:

At moment HU wi-fi works only with Samsung phone, if I use iPhone as HotSpot it connect but after says "authentication problems" basically looks like works just with android hot spots
I would like to know how far I can upgrade its FIRMWARE / MCU without dismantling HU
I did download UBOOT but I don't know where copy it into the root folder of the SD card and how I can flash it (if is needed)
On my laptop Ive successfully installed PHOENIX SUIT and GOOGLE USB DRIVER (I did copy/paste inside ADB_Driver all files except source.properties)
I did install on my HU PCUpdate.apk
I did start it and HU was in flash mode, then Ive plugged HU to laptop with man/man USB cable
Laptop found a new device but it was not identified / unknown device (Ive tried both USB plugs on HU)
I hope my post will be also useful for people with same HU

Bug torque widgets home screen
Hi, for some 3rd part widgets, like torque widgets, when i try to move or resize by long click on them, the launcher don’t select them but open the settings menu of the pages, if i try to long click several times it select them but it is so annoyng to do, can you fix this bug?

My HU specs are identical to above.
Unit started to randomly power off and on (sometimes has power to touch buttons, but screen is black).
I have been searching for 2 months to find a solution???
OR EVEN BETTER A REPLACEMENT MALAYSK ROM! Malaysk, could you please tell us what ROM we can use for this model?

I recently bought a used car with an aftermarket HU. It came with the box for it, which says it's from A-Sure, but it doesn't say which particular model it is. Looking at A-sure's website, it looks like this or this one, but I don't know if it actually IS one of them? Can someone help identify my unit and point me to compatible ROMs and instructions for it?

Hello there! I am a new member in this forum, and after searching a lot (and being confused a lot) about my newly installed Android Head Unit, i decided to post some questions i have, hoping for answers from some people with more knowledge than mine.
About a month ago i got a head unit installed on my Opel Corsa D and from there on i kept digging into it.
The manual of the HU was branded as "Bizzar Multimedia" so i can't know the exact manufacturer, so i can't really search for updates
As it was advertised to me and as the info of it says, it is an Android 9 version, but i know it is lower, like 7.

I think that the version it says is fake cause i have seen some Android 9 units, and it is nothing like mine
2. I want to understand about MCU updates and how i can make one if there is any newer MCU
