Android Facebook Sucks

Anyone have a better option for Facebook then the Android Market place app? It keeps having an error when i try to do mobile uploads and in general is not very good. Thanks in advance

Uploads of pictures? it gives me trouble from time to time. Just wish it didn't direct to the mobile site other than that it is as good as iphone version

I use the actual web page.....well I try to until it changes back to the facebook touch...grrrrr

Yes Facebook is not the best. I have no problems uploading images, but the no landscape mode for the home screen, as well as not being able to click youtube links really annoys me.

I think facebook just needs to buckledown on this. With android being the most sold phone os in the past 6 months... yeah facebook lets update that app, becasuse right now it sucks.

Try the app 'bff photo' for uploading pictures & video works very well. Videos cant be uploaded from the web page using phone. But as fazzibear said the web site is best as screen is big enough.

I agree! Facebook app is not very good.
Android and Facebook is huge... no excuse for the sucky app.

Facebook & People Hub not updating

All of a sudden this morning, my Facebook App shows "No Posts" on the wall and on the People Hub it says something along the lines of No News To Report.
I have tried resyncing both Windows Live account and Facebook account. I have deleted the Facebook account and reloaded it to the phone. I also have logged out of Facebook on the app and relogged in. None of it is working.
I am thinking this is on Facebook's end though, because it is too coincidental to have both have similar issues at the exact same time. Anyone else experiencing this or have any ideas? Thanks.

I've always had mixed results with this. Enough to say I think its wonky. Definitely much better with mango builds

Is there a setting to get this app to rotate? It always forces portrait for me yet in the market it shows a landscape view.

Hi all
Managed to find the answer, apparently there are two version of the app available, a mobile version which installs by default on the nexus 7 & also a tablet optimised version.
I found the apk for the tablet version & also found the reason why it isn't normally installed on the nexus 7, it's too big!

Whatsapp worked for me when I tested it yesterday.

2 bugs in facebook
Facebook APP = black transparent background
Facebook messenger = same as above
Wifi-theter not working
Rom works very well for me

Any browser that uses its own web engine instead of the built-in one doesn't work (exception being Chrome, Chrome Beta and Opera somewhat (Opera still crashes a lot)). So for example Dolphin, Firefox and Boat don't work, but Lightning, Naked and Maxthon work

Wouldn't it be wiser to make this list when a consumer version comes out. It would be safe to say a lot of apps aren't going to be working. Seems a tad redundant.

Mms working on tmobile, just have to make sure to reset apn

MMS has been working for me on T-Mobile LTE. I also haven't reset any APNs or changed any information. It worked as is.

Xmultiwindow and Halo)) not working properly on my N7

I have installed Xposed Framework, multi windows are not working. At a time, only one window (half screen) is appearing. When I press back button the another app in background appears to the another half screen.
But the multi Windows work perfectly when used within the app, but not outside the app.
Any help would be appreciated.

I have tried xmultiwindow myself and is the same I think all we can do is wait for an update to be honest. I know this is isn't very helpful but this is the only option I see possible

i used xmultiwindow and xhalofloatingwindow both with this fix. it worked perfectly with both of them.
