Att G6 Edge + on Verizon - Galaxy S6 Edge+ Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I just won an ATT Galaxy 6S Edge + but I'm a Verizon subscriber. Does anyone know if I can get it to work on Verizon network?

Probably but you'll have to find out how or where to get it unlocked and then have Verizon input their apn. Maybe they'd unlock it and activate it for you for a fee!

Verizon phones also support CDMA, you can't use a GSM only phone on Verizon network.

I was hoping i could just activate it. I might try swapping it out at Best Buy as the box will still be sealed. If not then i will just sell it.

Unfortunately it won't activate on Verizon due to the nature of their networks. Hopefully you can swap it or yeah worst case, you can sell it for profit and get what you want!

I'm in the US, can I have an X1 now?

I can't find a clear answer on this. It seems like this phone is kickass, but I don't know who will carry it.
Any info on how someone in the US can run an X1 would be appreciated. Thanks for your time.
x1 in the u.s.
you can only get the xperia in the US unlocked. No carrier will pick it up at this time. Its is doubtful that any carrier will pick it up but you can wait and see. right now you can order the unlocked x1a from sonystyle or bestbuy. you can also import the x1i from clove. hope this helps

So once I buy an unlocked one, I can call Sprint and tell them I have it and want to activate it? I mean, does this run on any carrier or only a select few?

NO.
Sprint and Verizon use CDMA, and thus can't be used with this phone. Your best bet is AT&T or T-Mobile which run off GSM.

but only silver.... not black.....

Use Galaxy Tab from different service provider?

Does Galaxy Tab sold by Sprint or Verizon has sim card slot at all? If yes, can it be used with AT&T service?
and if it doesn't have sim card slot, can it be used FULLY (of course without 3G capability) on WiFi network? as pure tablet?
It wouldn't ask for some unlock code or something, correct? right before coming to idle script upon boot?
please advise....
thank you
Sprint version has not sim card slot.
Working as a plain Wi-Fi pad without any unlocking.

hi there...i'm from italy.
Does it mean that i can buy from here and simply use like a normal wifi tablet (i do not care about 3G functions)?
Will not need any sort of activation?
thanx in advance
Yes. I am using a sprint tab now. Not activated. Work well as just wi fi. If uou wait they are bringing out the wi fi only version which will be cheaper

Cheaper than actual 499 USD?
gotta be. US Cellular has them for 200, sprint for 300.

That price is for signing a two years contact, it does not compare with a contact free tab.

The WiFi only Tab has to be cheaper than existing tabs. Even cheaper than the contract price?

Can an AT&T or T-Mobile S4 be used on Verizon

I got a Galaxy S4 for AT&T cheap so cheap I just bought to play with. Any way to make it work on my provider verizon? Can I reflash the modem, rom, activate it change the sim or something to make it work? Or should I just turn it in to a small tablet for my son. lol

I dont think u can use that as verizon is CDMA and at&t is gsm
That is correct. CDMA phones and GSM phones are not interchangeable. Neither will work on the other network. If there is nothing wrong with the phone, you could always just sell it on eBay or somewhere, and given the going rate for the S4 now, you should be able to get enough money to buy a Verizon one easily. That would be a very expensive "mini-tablet" for your son. :silly:

Partially true. You can use a Verizon GS3/Note 2/iPhone 5 on GSM with some simple mods. To the |OP|, I would recommend putting it on swappa.com, XDA's official marketplace. Good, honest members are willing to pay top dollar for a clean phone.
I wasn't aware of that - in regards to the GS3/Note 2/iPhone 5. Thanks for clarifying!

Just bought a 910T on Swappa

Phone is already rommed and rooted. Hope it is unlocked for ATT. I decided to buy a T mobile device to use on ATT rather than an international device. If it does not work on ATT I can resell it for $675 Won't have a shortage of buyers. I expect it can be used with ATT LTE bands as well
lol

As best I can tell the n910t supports both Tmobile and At&t. But you'll probably need to unlock it.

Sprint will never activate an international model of any phone, especially if said phone lacks a CDMA antenna.
