Legit OnePlus 2 Invite? - OnePlus 2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello,
I received an invite to purchase a OnePlus 2, however I do not know if its legit because it brings me to a AliExpress website that is selling the phone from China. I took some screenshots regarding the purchase website as well as some from the email sent to me. I just want to make sure that this is legit before I jump the gun and go nuts and buy a OnePlus Two.
For those who have already bought one can you help me out?
Thanks,
Aw1195

Not legit. The e-mail address from a legit invite will be "[email protected]" This is what a legit invite looks like:
Obviously without me editing/cropping.

not unless you make it yourself, those were the prerelease phones that are scanned and registerd to each of the beta testers.
Scanned? Those QR codes are all the same, they point to a website.

the battery cover is *NOT* scanned and registered. The flag code takes you to
http://www.android.com/holidays
Scan it yourself:

is it a sticker or engraved?
It's printed.
Those QR codes point to android.com. It was for the beta testers and developers. You can find 1 or two on ebay.

Just had a look on their web site and it shows 529 - is there a promo code you need.
Also, would be great if someone could confirm if they ship to the UK
That is only for one day (5-nov) and in store buying only
Another offer in Germany

I tried to buy one. According to the site, they accept paypal. But didn't give any option to pay by paypal on checkout and have to do an international bank transfer.

group messaging check mark

I was wondering if someone could tell me how to get this check within the message app. I have sprint now and don't have it but I had in on Verizon.

thank you for the reply. Yes mine looks the same as yours. I actually went to best buy and saw that only Tmobile and Verizon have the check mark and ATT and Sprint do not. Is there a way we can modify the app to just include the check mark somehow?
no one?

Looks like you will eventually be charged for the note 7

Just got this email and I called to confirm and they said it was true looks like this is the end .

Sent from my SM-N930V using Tapatalk
So they are going to charge full retail and then disable the imei #.
Isn't this just the email everyone's been receiving?
I received one of the (unsolicited) return boxes in the mail from Verizon the other day. It comes with a letter inside the shipping box that says the same thing this email does.
When I got my pixel and they sent me the box it was the same thing. They are just getting around to sending it to the holdouts.

Anyone trading in via the OP website?

Just received an email announcing the OP5 can now be purchased immediately.
They are offering a trade in service. When you purchase a new OP5.
I have been offered £100 for my "mint" OP3. Think I'll pass... Can quite easily get in the region of £250-£300 if sold privately.

Thanks for pointing out, for a brand new looking oneplus one I only get €20, a joke, that's what it is.
£100 for a OP3, are they insane?
