I thought the SGS2 bands didnt work with tmobiles 4g network?
It doesn't. Notice on the picture says compatible with, lists tmbile att and simplemobile and underneath it, it has a big 3G with at&t next to it. that means it only works on at&t(and those companies that use the same bands as at&t) for 3g.
So tmobil cant buy this phone, ty

I believe it should work on T-Mobile, just with 2G only most likely.

Yup, seems like it is only available on contract with the two Everything Everywhere partners, for now.
It's available unlocked at Mobicity: http://www.mobi-city.co.uk/samsung-galaxy-s3-i9305-16gb-uk.html

AT&T Nexus 7 in Germany

Hey there,
I am in the US and plan on buying the AT&T Nexus 7 with 3G.
Since i will move back to germany in a few weeks i would like to know if it is possible to use it in Germany (since, you know, the US has some odd Networks)
Thanks for any information
Its unlocked so yes. At least with Deutsche Telekom or vodaphone

thanks for your reply. i wasn't concerned about it being locked but rather incompatible Network modems.
If it works on Telekom or Vodafone it works on every Provider.
Can someone else confirm that the Radios are compatible with European/German Networks?
The N7 supports T-Mobile frequencies and my T-Mobile G1 worked perfect while I was in Grafenwohr, Vilseck and in the bars/clubs in Nurenburg so there's no reason it won't

Thank you, too! I am gonna buy a 3G Nexus7 soon Let's hope someone gets voice calls working
If you have Google voice you can download grooveIP and use that to make calls with since its a VOIP app. Would work great since unless Telekom's plans changed since I was stationed there they kinda suck lol

US carrier will support the phone but they will not ( or maybe ) provide the phone as contract ( or without contract ).
I already have the phone with T-Mobile and I'm living in US.
Enjoy the phone for another month or 2 before the Z3 comes out.
Bad move on Sony part.

Maybe there will be a us alternative soon

It's kinda a good news, think about the freedom you're gonna have to unlock the bootloader, custom ROMs, etc. i don't really care about carrier provided phones anyway. I've been using unlocked/imported phones for many years.

It would be nice if it will have a 32gig version...but it will suck if it becomes like the Z1s that's made of plastic.

Will the Moto X allow unlimited native tethering out of the box?

I have a few buddies who have the One Plus One and claim to have unlimited native tether without tripping any kind of notice to their mobile provider.
Will the Moto X Pure Edition have the ability to do this? Or will it have to be rooted for this to happen? I currently use the Wifi Tether Router app on a Rooted S6 Edge and it works great.
If you're buying a SIM free device, why would Moto tell anyone what you're up to?
Ahhh I always thought that Mobile providers could tell?

If they look close enough they can tell. Some have basic flags set up to alert them but they are easy to bypass.

He asked if the phone could do this. It has nothing to do with the phone.

I was reading through the 2014 Moto X threads where people were discussing how to edit their build.prop scripts so that native tethering would not be detected.
I just met up with my buddy today who has a One Plus One and he showed me his native tethering app and it worked great...

CDMA doesn't even exist outside of the US, so I never give it any thought whatsoever. I said SIM free because that's how the device is being sold, without contract.
