[Q] Hardware revisions and machine versions poll - OnePlus 2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi all,
in preparation for my kernel in some future time, I wonder what hardware revisions and machine versions are out in the market.
So if anyone knowing how to look into a dmesg log could just post what he has, it would help me to figure out more insight about the device trees used (and which ones are obsolete).
Below is how my dmesg log straigt after start looks like, I made the interesting sections in bold and red.
If you want to contribute, do the following (you must be rooted):
- restart your phone
- open terminal window and do the following commands (enter after every one)
su
dmesg > /sdcard/klog.txt
- inspect the klog.txt file with a text editor from the beginning for the information I have marked in bold.
Thanks for your help

Unfortunately after restart you were not fast enough, the first lines are missing.
Thanks anyways.

Thanks guys.
Interesting results so far, only one hw revision and machine version.
Let's see when the first different specs come up
Andi

Here's mine

So far looks like there is only one combo out in the market, interesting...

Hi lord bofella.. I love your work on oneplus one... Just wanted to ask.. In future with the development... is it possible to control the 810 heating and throttling with custom kernels and make oneplus 2 a better phone

We will see. But in normal usage (and I do not play games etc.) I never faced any heating issues which I really "felt".

running well, i like it

I'm wondering if there's going to be a way to open up all basebands in the future. I efed up and ordered a Chinese version in the us so I'll be without lte. If it's all the same hardware surely there is a way to open up the band's I need

[TOOL] Nbench for Android

Hi!
Just released Nbench 1.1. Android NBench is a native port of BYTE's BYTEmark CPU benchmark.
The benchmark was designed to expose the capabilities of a system's CPU, FPU, memory and C compiler performance. Supports Arm v5, Arm v7, x86 and Mips32 CPUs. Only a SINGLE core is benchmarked.
What's interesting about nbench is that the results can be published and seen on http://www.tux.org/~mayer/ and lets you compare your Android phone with desktop computers or high-end servers (Nbench even worked on i386 processors!).
It's also interesting to test for ndk performance regressions, for example, I found gcc 4.6.0 was much slower than gcc 4.4.3 with -O2 optimisation.
The latest version was compiled with ndk 8e, gcc 4.6.0 and -O3 optimisation.
It's open source, the code can be browsed here: http://sourceforge.net/p/drolez/nbench/ci/master/tree/
You can also download it on the market: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.drolez.nbench
[QRCODE]market://details?id=com.drolez.nbench[/QRCODE]
Enjoy!

It seems that nbench does not work under lollipop... Can somebody give me more details?
Hi!
I finally took the time to make the benchmark work for lollipop users.
Can someone test the latest Google play nbench release?
TIA.
..where is NORMAL link to the apk. no google store user here.
Is it too hard for posting ATTACHEMENT xda link?
The latest version was compiled with ndk 8e, gcc 4.6.0 and -o3 optimisation.

I wonder, how compiler used may have difference on..test..hmmmm. I mean - someone has kernel/rom made with -o3, others have -o2, then how -o3 for bench can have impact on -o2 based roms/kernels..hhheh...confusing, isn't it?
Benchmarking matter is difficult, i suppose....

That's because nbench is a native benchmark: it's compiled with a C compiler and it's not a java program.
Moreover Rom optimisation has no influence on nbench because it's a CPU benchmark.

I have this also, I really don't know what 4.4 will bring... you can do everything in 4.1.1 unit...
Hi.
I have the same head unit. I put REDMOD firmware. Everything works OK, except volume lights to the left of the screen.
The radio app is necessary that you use the original, he does not keep well the stations, at least in my case.
Search the video of rom in youtube:
RedMOD 0.2.1
And this is my head unit:

YT9216BJ software needed

ANDROID YT9216BJ_00012_V001
OS : 9.1 CAR EDITION
XY AUTO : 5 (X2) no canbus — connect (although I have a canbus box connected)
CAN PRO: 3.2 (X2)
DDR : 2g ; FLASH : 32gb
cpu: A7 1.3GHz x 4
Display 1024*6 00
MCU: 3.5 (X2)
has anyone got any updated software for this please? it’s not running as I’d like so need to upgrade the software.
i’m having issues with getting the canbus to work, and I have a feeling the software has an error in it.
Thanks

xyauto

Which file is the correct one? as there's quite alot in there?
Actually I think I've found it, based off of my spec.
Why not check out this guide that provides custom firmware and lots of improvements to YT9216BJ? Just check out the UI and there is much much more you can do, that you can't do on stock firmware.
