I just saw this, it looks like the galaxy note 8.0 won't be getting the lollipop update due to perforamnce concerns... dissapointing.
According to SamsungUK, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 Lollipop update has been CANCELED and will not be getting any official Android 5.0 Lollipop updates. The company didn't release any info regarding the Note 8.0 Lollipop update before and its firmware hasn't even hit the development status at all.

Source: http://www.youmobile.org/blogs/entry/Samsung-Galaxy-Note-8-0-official-Android-5-0-Lollipop-update-Canceled-due-to-hardware-limitations

It was expected really....but I am not agreeing with Samsung that they cancelled based on hardware limitation, I do believe this device pretty capable of running Lollipop, but again their heavy TouchWiz may not.
Now, only hope left is if Note II gets lollipop, as its hardware specs similar to Note 8, it can back ported to Note 8, of course, if Note II gets Lollipop. Strange part is Poland Samsung still says lollipop coming to Note II, while Korea Samsung offically said No.

Considering that the device is now rather old, I am not at all surprised that 5.0 isn't coming. I never expected it to. My only complaint is the BS excuse that Samsung gave about hardware concerns. If they were actually concerned with performance, they would not have created TouchWiz in the first place. Lollipop was designed to run on very weak hardware and despite the Note's age, it is very capable of Lollipop and TW. With a dual-core CPU and 2GB RAM, it's no slouch. I would much rather have Samsung come out and say that the reason they are not releasing 5.0 on it is because they are no longer supporting this device.

If only Samsung would actually produce a replacement for the Note 8 I'm writing this on. I don't want a friggin' 10 inch tablet to get something with an S-Pen (don't want a Note 5 either). I was disappointed there wasn't a version of the Tab S2 with S-Pen support, maybe they could call it the Note 8S, or at a pinch a Tab 8A based on the Tab A. Maybe they are scared of cannibalising Note 5 sales.

I'm selling mine to Amazon - can get $85 if in good condition on trade-in. This device has never been that great - battery life sucks.

The Note 8 didn't sell well. It seems most folks aren't willing to pay $500 for a tablet that isn't made by Apple. Even the much cheaper Tab A with stylus isn't taking the world by storm. I'm doing my part, voting with my dollars, but apparently not enough people feel the way we do.

Part of Samsungs problem is creating too many products causing confusion. Theres prob 50+ note, tab, S version, 2014 edition etc.. every permutation possible. While apple has prob 6 ipads and 2 minis total. Too many products creates confusion and difficulty with brand recognition.
In phones there's the S6, S6 edge, and the S6 edge+ and the note 5 and that's just this year.

Doesn't matter Sam not giving a lollipop TouchWiz for Note 8, as I've never been a fan of TouchWiz. CyanogenMod 12.1 (thanks to @rgib) runs perfectly and I'm very happy with its 16 + run time with the help of @ZaneZam's Boeffla-Kernel. To me, this device still rocks even after 2 years! :good:

I only use it for handwriting and rarely for drawing due to the precision. I think there are 3rd party apps to improve functionality if you need it always.

cm12.1 works great on our tab but if you have one of the samsung 3rd party s-pens you loose eraser function in cm12 compared to cm11 it working... not sure whats going on there.
Bit bummed samsung didn't give us least a stripped down touchwiz lolipop update:/ but its samsung been screwed over by their lack of updates enough times to wish a nexus tablet had a active digitizer pen.

Has met my needs..

Just my two cents worth...
I have had the Model 5110 Note 8.0 since April of 2013. I agree that the battery life does not come close to the iPad Air that I had at work, however it has been a great tablet without any problems. I have never had to reset and hardly ever perform a restart. I have lollipop on my Note 4 and frankly it doesn't really add much functionality for me individually. I would like to continue receiving security updates to Android on my device, but, an updated OS is not a disappointment to me. It would be nice for Samsung to give us the option of more ram at purchase time, but alas, that is for another discussion. So far, I still have close to the original battery life when I purchased the Note 8.0 and I am a heavy daily user. Just sharing my experience. Have a good day...

Android 5 works fine, it's ****ty TW that is the issue

It works great on cm12.1 so TW is the issue agree! But without any official lollipop I doubt they'll get bugs fixed now in cm12.1 such as Netflix never worked on this tab (reverted to cm11 works great). nothing wrong w kitkat.

Note 8 3G (GT-N5100) 4.4.4 Poland
This might interest those who are longing for an Lollipop update. Compared to KK, I found LP to be bad on battery after testing for a couple of months. The culprit happens to be "surfaceflinger". In (CyanogenMod) LP it consumes 40+% of my battery where in KK (CyanogenMod) it is 20+%. Googling reveals "surfaceflinger" is a worrying factor for many even though we can't do anything about it (without making the screen displays nothing .
So, I decided to test TouchWiz 4.4.4 Poland. To my surprise this ROM is smooth & solid than any of the previous releases for our device. Also, it has 0 memory leaks (CyanogenMod has several leaks). After de-bloating and tweaking, I can get more than 17 hours of moderate usage (heavy book reading). Also, just 1% of battery drop per 12 hour standby. Btw, not yet tweaked with Amplify.
Other than the looks, which is not my main concern, I think KK is more solid than the LP, and also battery friendly!

plz help me with android version 4.4.4 foy my note 8 n5120.
links and and special instructions.
much appreciated tanks

Sorry friend, for N5120, the latest is 4.4.2. When I used 4.4.2 on my N5100, it was pretty solid too.

This is the same case for me. I still get a lot of use from my Note 8. This device with OneNote is proving incredibly useful for me. I'd get updated hardware for sure. I had Cyanogen 12.1/Lollipop running but it's a little bit too buggy.

My Note 8 in the US just had an update with bug fixes/stagefright fix and it seems snappier.

[Q] Poll: Galaxy S3 US vs. Nexus 4

The Galaxy S3 is one of the best selling smartphones of all time, is there any reason to upgrade from the S3 US to the Nexus 4? and how noticeable of an improvement would the Quad Core S4 Pro be over the Dual S4 Chip in the S3 US.

I would not upgrade, you can just wait until a 4.2 AOSP ROM for the GS3 comes out. In terms of Hardware, they are not that different: both have a quad core, a similar sized HD screen, and both are just insanely fast (I believe, at least

Mods, please move my poll to the T-Mobile Galaxy S3 Q&A, thank you
One of the major pros of a Google phone is Google updates. No waiting for carriers.
That's a good enough reason for me, to be honest. I have an S3.

I found it has

NO Glonass
NO LTE (<====? Common everything is heading toward LTE now, why? why??)
Now, I'm thinking I probably go with Samsung Galaxy S III i9305 not the i9300 (it has everything and 2GB ram)

The Nexus 4 does in fact have GLONASS support, according to this comparison.
Also, LTE was abandoned because Google didn't want to partner with carriers (especially in the US) to launch Nexus devices, considering how badly Verizon handled Galaxy Nexus updates. Google's cooperation with At&t/Verizon would have reportedly made it more financially feasible to add LTE.
I am interested to hear reviews from those going from an S3 to a Nexus 4. I feel I would prefer the S3 over the Nexus 4, the Nexus 4 is just too cheap to pass up though. I currently have a Galaxy Nexus and love it. But I have spent some time with an S3 and would rather have that over my GN.
i just played with the n4 at my local store and let me say that n4 mops the floor with it..it is amazingly fast..having a ported 4.2 aosp build for the s3 is not the same as having the orginal 4.2..****, i have a hox and the n4 blows the hox out of the water..and the good thing is, google is going to release the n4 with 32gb..no source..just have been told by a google employee
Ah things get a little more interesting when the British, Aussie, European (and so on) Galaxy S3's are thrown into the mix.
Then it's Quad Core Exynos 4412 vs Quad Core Snapdragon S4 Pro
1GB vs 2GB RAM
The mobile networks around the world are quicker to provide updates than the American 'carriers'
BATTLE OF THE TITANS!!!
Yes, especially if you have the international version which has less than stellar custom ROM support.
My Galaxy S3 is the phone that single-handedly convinced me only buy Nexus phones from now on.
So what are your thoughts, those who have went from the S3 to the Nexus 4? I am curious.

Awwww. That's messed up how they didn't release a 32GB version from the start. I'm fine with 16GB, but nothing wrong with having more storage.
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda premium
As someone who has switched to the Nexus 4 from the AT&T S3, these are my thoughts.
Cons:
- No removable storage.
- No LTE (not that big of a deal imo)
- No Removable Battery (never removed my battery, so don't care)
- Nexus 4 is made of glass, and slides off almost everything.
- Screen is less sensitive (I've frequently had to tap multiple time for it to be registered)
- Better battery life on the S3 (but I haven't had my N4 for very long)
- No hardware home button on the front (this is a nice convenience imo.)
- Better Camera on the S3
- Louder speakers on the S3 (N4 is barely audible in the shower)
Pros
- N4 feels so much better than the S3. Swiping feels superb, holding the phone feels great, and the N4 looks much better than S3.
- AOSP Out of the Box (I didn't think this would be a big deal, but I've been using the phone unrooted and wow, its like everything just works how I want it to.)
- Direct updates from Google (no more waiting on custom roms and leaks)
- Better Screen (everything looks a lot more realistic and better imo)
- Faster (everything is so smooth on the N4 and I haven't seen any lag or stutter yet as I did [rarely] on the S3. This creates a better experience.)
My experience with the Nexus 4 is that it just feels better to use than the S3. Its something you have to try for yourself I guess.

Of course. It goes without saying. It's finally time to say Goodbye to my beloved Note 2. I always kept going back to the S3 even after getting the Note 2 because it was a bit too big, but I would come right back to Note 2 because I just missed the big screen. Now I think the .2 inch more in a smaller body is an even bigger reason to switch. Also the 1080p and a less rounded form doesn't hurt either. I think this might be the 1st full year since 2010 where I keep the SAME phone for longer than 1 year.

Reading the last few posts of yours I can tell you can't make up your mind yet. Just an advice. If you like Touchwiz and you think you can live with it go buy the S4. However if you intend to flash custom ROMs that are based on CM or AOSP, AOKP ParanoidAndroid etc. and get all the great features they offer, don't touch any Samsung's device, you'll save yourself a lot of time and money. Don't expect any of those ROM to be fully functional on the S4 because they won't be.
As for me, I want to be able to customize the crap out of my phone that's why I'll stick with CM based ROMs, their theme engine is just unbeatable. Beside I care more about performance, speed and battery life than all those S-bloats, all those "features" that I might use 3 times a year, therefor Touchwiz is out of the question for me. At the end of the day, it's entirely up to you. It's better for people to be aware of this issue now than later. One Exynos source code fiasco is enough.

With customized Rom I love this phone
So maybe I'll leave good enough alone.
I've got to root my phone and start flashing.
I had bricked my phone, I got it serviced at mobile tech video and now it's flashed to factory Rom so now I have to root it but I can't wait.

I'd be surprised... since Samsung devices traditionally have gotten great CM support. The full Galaxy S line-up from 1 -3 had fairly good support and even the bastard US variants like the Epic 4g have working 10.1 versions.
To get back on subject... I don't think I'll be waiting. I just broke the screen on my S3 and I need a replacement right now... going to get another S3, it's not a bad phone and honestly the last thing I want is a bigger screen. Only way I'd get an S4 is if they had a "mini" version that didn't have gimped specs like the S3 mini. 4" was the sweet spot and they nailed it with the Nexus S. Sexy phone... I miss mine

I see after looking around that I'm probably very wrong about it's CM support... that's going to be sad
I'm not a big fan of the Galaxy series anyway (despite owning the Epic 4g and VZW S3). My real love was for the Nexus S and Nexus 4 and I absolutely plan on getting one again as soon as it's reasonable for me to. I'm only using the S3 because it's a work paid line and quite frankly I'm too cheap to pay for my own while someone else will pay for it.

Nope.
I recently sold my Galaxy S3, had the money sat in the bank waiting for the release of the Galaxy S4 & tbh i'm quite dissapointed.
Here why the design is very similar to the S3, which brought a problem a few of us suffered on here & that was dust trapped around the edges, I can see looking at the pics of the S4 that some units could also suffer from this problem aswell.
Both the Galaxy S1 & 2 i had prior to the S3, never suffered this problem.
This is one of the main reason's i've decided against going for the S4, I may comeback next year if they change the overall design for the S5, but that could very well be a Tizen handset, with Android relegated to their mid range smartphones
In the meantime I've decided to buy a Nexus 4 16gb " while you now can finally get your hands on one", I've been impressed by pure Google experience on my Nexus 7 over the past few months & how quick Android get updated, and i also be enjoying next major Android update a good few months before it seen on the Galaxy S4.

Note 3 day one buy features

I've been wondering what, if announced, would make the Note 3 (or any other phone) a day 1 buy for me.
There's always the incremental MORE/LESS stuff - more screen, less weight, blah blah blah
The note 2 is good enough that I don't consider any of that to be a strong selling point.
Has technology/innovation peaked? What features could/would make the Note 3 a 'must buy'
for Note 2 owners (versus the expected 'guess I'll wait for the Note 4)? Or from a business
perspective, would could make people who were uninterested in the Note 3 interested in the Note 2?
I don't think the S4 won over any S3 haters.
The only recent interesting things I've seen are:
wireless charging
unbreakable screen
Metallic body (which I personally don't care about, but it sure is making the HTC One hot stuff)
All of the above I'd love, but nothing I'd sell my Note 2 to get.

Metallic body (which I personally don't care about, but it sure is making the HTC One hot stuff)
All of the above I'd love, but nothing I'd sell my Note 2 to get.

I want to go mad with power lol.
Octa Core!
The hardware technology is close to peaking, I think. Flexible screens are just a marketing gimmick for me, and better radios aren't really new tech but refinements of what we already have. Screens are either unbreakable but not unscratchable, or unscratchable but not unbreakable. As for power -- every week we read about how this or that development will give us vastly more powerful batteries (rechargeable in 30 seconds, no less) but the problem is, they've been saying that for the past six or seven years and we're still stuck with the same old Li-Ion technology. Wireless charging still means leaving the phone on some device or other to charge -- only you don't plug it in. Now if my phone's battery would start charging as soon as I walked in the door, I might sit up and take notice.
The only innovations that would give me an incentive to buy a new device (the Note 99, maybe?) on day 1 would be either 128GB or more of storage without a huge increase in price, or a change in Android specs to allow apps to be stored and run from external cards. Not allowing apps to run from external storage has got to be one of Google's more short-sighted ideas, given that each Android iteration, not to mention manufacturer and carrier overlays, seems to eat more and more of available storage space for its own use.

in my country, note 2 now is about 30% cheaper compared to when it was launched. if thats the case in your area and since you are still satisfied with your note2, id wait for a few months until it gets cheaper before buying. as a bonus the official rom you buy might be more stable the the 1st release.
For me, personally, it would have to be a huge increase in onboard storage (I'm thinking 128GB minimum). Also, I would prefer a dedicated micro-HDMI port, instead of crappy MHL. These two things would make me get the GN3 on release day, but if not, I'll stick with my GN2 for the time being.
1080p, Exynos Octa w/LTE, more storage...yeah, I'm probably going to get it at launch. Those are enough to excite me.

Frontal stereo speakers, Adreno 330, Snapdragon 800, metal body, 1080p 64 GB storage... these things are desirable, but still probably wouldn't buy it... and definately not on day one. Just recently got my Note 2
More likely when I switch, it will be to the Note 4... or perhaps some nice HTC/Sony. Maybe even a Nokia EOS, if such a thing ever breaks free from the rumorland....
I want a note 3 with all s4 features minus lag, screen tint and smearing issues (realistic wish list). It would be enough for a year at least. I would prefer a screen of 5.7 inch max, but it should never go beyond 6.0. The battery should be around 4000MAh. I don't care about body but design at least should not be carbon copy of note 2/s4. The minimum storage should be 32gig.
Larger screen without increasing the body size.
Larger battery, and I don't mind making the body slightly thicker either. For me battery life is more important than have it be under 11mm. I think 12mm is fine.
HD display, without a doubt.
SPen upgrade. I love the current generation, but if they can't make it any better then that'll be fine by me.
Next generation processor which I'm sure will be in there.
An awesome camera This one is good, but not that good. I'd much prefer something better.
I think that's it! If they add on a capacitive home button and an extra gig of ram I'm sold.
Thinner, lighter, better battery, full hd and 13mpix camera at least (or better if they can squeeze it). Battery life is fine with me. Processing power I don't care about anymore (it's plenty enough already).

Nice spam. Reported.
Ill be keeping note 2 if note 3 is just a s4 with a pen and 5.99 inch full hd screen.
Maybe 3 gig of ram?

I am afraid its going to be like this, better not to keep your hopes high, you should follow the prior trend if u want to stay realistic. I dont mind an s4 type phone but it must be morw fluid and minus all the bugs.

Note 3?
Do you guys really want to struggle with Samsung's rooting/custom kernel issues, flash counters, root trackers, CyanogenMod incompatibilities?
Definitely a phone I will buy, sadly I dont have the money right now and selling somo old phones is not on my plans, so if the note 3 went out today I will have to buy it in October 2014.

Samsung will never set 32gb as minimum storage. They rather will cut it even more (like in galaxy s4).
Have to say I am impressed with my Note2 so far the best Android phone Ive had. Its the only phone I have not had to tamper with to make it faster. I did root it but no custom rom. Never had it die on me, been using it close to a year now and it still amazes me. Awesome device. The Note 3 would have to be significantly better to justify an upgrade. I agree with with what someone hasmentioned already, i believe we have reached a peak now....and only encremental changes will come. Else if they do decide to go all out with the Note 3...we will all be guinea pigs....like with the first samsung galaxy s.with the note 2 we have the perfect balance between battery life and performance. I still carry a spare battery around...just incase.

It needs to have a new design. I won't buy it if it looks too much like my Note 2. Something like the GS4 Active would be awesome.

Yes, that's the good thing about the community, although it would be nice to have them with official support, but I guess it's the same :victory:
The only things we won't see are the things requiring the hardware difference.
I can live with that.
So we don't get features like new camera, Smart Scroll and Smart Pause Right?
I only want to see some of the new s note features. What would be cool is if we could cherry pick features in aroma installer.

Does not mean they won't send an OTA with the new note 3 feature's later on.
I cant understand what Samsung wants to do.. When the Note 2 comes, nearly all features ported to s3 and n7000 by samsung. after that, now we have note 2 but theres nothing about note 3 features. I think Samsung trying to say, "Hey Note 2 is good enough, if we can port something from Note 3, No one going to buy it.. so dont wait until we produce Note 4..."

Its rather simple. The Note 2 software was a benchmark level software bundle featuring a suite of applications to use the large screen phone (upward of 4.5 inches) more effectively. You can consider it as the base for large screen phones and that's why it was provided to the previous phones as well. This set of features is what makes a Samsung phone tick.
The Note 3 software on the other hand is an incremental update over the original (Note 2) software suit. The basic functions provided in note 2 have been enhanced a little with few additions here and there. I know these features mean much to us, but basically for Samsung its an incremental update. While giving Note 2 level software to all of its phones (mostly) made them tough against the competition by a large scale, Note 3 software will not do the same thing. It will just drop the value of Note 3 one notch and will prevent many potential buyers of Note 3 to stay back with their still powerful devices.
Its a marketing thing, pure and simple marketing.
Personally, I will remain content even if they only keep giving Android version upgrades with minor updates to touchwiz. This will ensure the phones stay current and custom roms keep rolling based on kernel sources and stock roms. Community will bridge the gap, we just need base roms.
I don't want to add the features unofficially. I want more respect. I spent almost 700 euros.
I think that Samsung's press release is a bit oversimplified and misleading, and we're quick to assume the worst.
To me it looks like Samsung wanted to release a short umbrella statement and just listed a few new features common to all devices receiving the update, instead of making separate, detailed lists of features for every device. In any case, I'm having a hard time believing that they suddenly changed their strategy and have stopped trickling back new software features to older phones. It's really just a short statement, and I can't see how they would have crammed in it things like "Air Command added", "New camera interface", "new camera modes", "TRIM support", "notification toggle page" etc when most of these are device-specific. And if we are to nitpick, the phrasing "new updates to Samsung features and applications, including" suggests an incomplete list of features is being shown anyway.
I wouldn't read too much into this. In my opinion, it neither confirms nor denies Note 3 features. I'll wait for a definitive features list, or the update itself before I decide whether Samsung screwed me over or not.
Kitkat update will be released soon?
Maybe Samsung wants to make sure Note 3 sales never goes down when rolls out the 4.3 update..
With the Note 2 capabilities..good hardware specs..i'm sure many people will buy Note 2 instead of Note because of the price differences..and they will get the same features which Note 3 has.
Didnt read anythin about wont have note 3 feature , was just talkin about S4 S3 and note 2 in general and what will it get , not what note 2 will not , dont think leaked firmware be better than official one unless there wont be official one
thanks for the info
I have Galaxy Note 2 and i'm very pleased with the features of Note 3 after installing a custom ROM .... they can put their note 3 in their a$$

Done with samsung

Had to go back to my nexus 5 due to a few drops of water screwing up my s6.... Holy god and it is actually faster than the s6. Not hard video gaming but normal tasks it blows the s6 away. ....Samsung sucks. Android n has released images and we dont even have marshmellow.....pathetic
Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
Samsung suck I have s6 didn't like it I'll go with nexus next year the thing I love about nexus is they always get new updates and this Samsung you wait 100 years to get beta and then wait another 100 years to get official LOL
We've had official Marshmallow for days though .. So much smoother.
Agreed with you OP althought I'm still sticking with my S6 until new nexus arrives.
I returned to my nexus 5 today to see if I can flash Android N images on it and it's so much smoother and faster when it comes to app opening and animations. Of course in gaming and other similiar stuff it is worse but still, clear proof that amazing hardware doesnt mean anything if you have sh** software.
I'm gonna keep my S6 until the S8 comes out. I just can't stand on the looks of pure AOSP. I've been using the MI 3 since it came out and then devs ported/cooked an AOSP Lollipop for it. Yes it's fast and feels really clean. Don't pick me for shooting AOSP though. I liked and loved AOSP, but I grew tired it. There's nothing much to do unless you're a die-hard who customs his phone a lot which can either lead to: a.) Helpful with your everyday task, b.) Just for fun, c.) Waste a lot of time. There are a lot of phone companies here in my country who uses AOSP as their main OS. It just feels so generic nowadays. Like I said, don't get me wrong, I was once a flashaholic and loved pure/customed android.
Yeah me too. Before this (S-S5) will root after 2 months of usage. Flasholic before but after I didn't even bother to root because maybe I grew old now and s6 tw already mature enough with good performance and usability

That's what I felt too. With the MM update, I think I'm very greatly satisfied with my S6 now.
I just bought a Nexus 5x - updates mean more to me than hardware that just suck the battery when idle.....Android N convinced me that i would be waiting 18 more months to get something that I can have in 3 or 4 (or now if i want bugs). Nexus from now on for me....

Hope you get the update quickly. That's not true that number of 920i are higher than 920f. From business perspective and insight in world economic zones, I will be surprised if 920i is even 10% of 920f numbers.

I am also thinking of dropping Samsung. I really love my S6 dual sim, but its ****ing expensive and resell value is crap compared to the price you pay for initially.
Im a light user. I dont play much games and i mostly do web browsing and youtube on my phone. So maybe the nexus is a good option.
However I always end up sticking to my S6 because i am obsessed about camera quality particularly in low-light. and the S6 excels at this ( well low light is not that good but still better than other).
My question is , how does the camera on the nexus compare to the S6 ? it would be really hard to beat.
Sorry for my bad english.
so the only thing you care about is speed? and no, the S6 with MM is faster than nexus 5....it's faster than all android devices excluding the 6p....so please...if you're angry because you missed up you S6 don't blame samsung.....the nexus 5 is below midrange phone......crap camera, battery, design, screen.....
Well galaxy s7 edge is pure junk it still lags I saw mate8 and nexus 6p they don't even blink on multitasking and mate8 Is older than s7...just wait next nexus they will beat Samsung soon they will take over
Android N isn't out yet. It's at a alpha stage. Officially it will be out at the end of the year. Wait for MM and your s6 will be awesome. I know, because i have both (also 5X) phones.

TBH i have always been on Samsung for last few years. Initially with Note 2 more than 3 years and then now using S6 since launch. Sometimes i do feel lag but cant really make out as i hardly used CM on note 2 due to S-Pen features.
Just 2 days back i played mate 8 as its widely available here in China. I do have to say that the device was fluid fast and it was already on MM which i dont know when i will get it on my S6 G9200. I was mighty impressed with how the apps were could be open and app switching was fast even on the browser. Except on apps which refresh everytime you open all the other apps opened instantly where it was at the last state. Just the device was too big at 6" but i have to admit the device was damn fast. I think my device might be a nice Chinese Company since i live in China and its easier to get so might be Mi5 or Huawei product which are anyways half the price of Samsung flagships.
I'm keeping my s6 until it breaks only because I can't afford new phones very often, but my next one is definitely going to be a Nexus. **** TouchWiz, **** samsungs inability to update phones quickly. still waiting for MM on my s6 g920i
