• First, we are going to use the CDMA sim card into the phone
• In the phone dial-up interface, enter "* # * # 9439 # * # *" code. (Where 9434 is representative of the China Telecom CDMA operator code)
• We will see the options screen pops up, as shown, tick "启动中国电信网络 (CDMA)", then reboot . On OK!

Can this be done for other CDMA operators?

ro.oem_unlock_supported=1

Hello, guys.
In new update named 00WW_3_72A we got repacked kernel. In this kernel my pal found "default" file which contains one interesting thing:
Code:
#
# ADDITIONAL_DEFAULT_PROPERTIES
#
ro.adb.secure=1
ro.secure=1
security.perf_harden=1
ro.allow.mock.location=0
...
[B]ro.oem_unlock_supported=1[/B]
...
So i got a question - are we got a bootloader unlock?
It seems like unlock bootloader is just an settings in Oreo Beta, does not know it will appear in release version or not. I have this option in Settings > About > Developer Options > OEM unlocking with sub cap is Allow the bootloader to be unlocked.

How to switch carrier configuration?

I have a problem. I use stock XEO ROM (unbranded firmware for Poland) and all my carrier features like WiFi Calling or VoLTE were working correctly (Service Provider SW version in About Phone said back then that CSC is XEO/XEO/OMN - my phone is from Italy, that's why the last bit is different).
I visited Russia recently and got a local SIM there. After using it my configuration changed and now back home carrier features stopped working, CSC in About Phone changed to XEO/SER/OMN.
Is there any way to trigger the configuration change again so it goes back to previous state without having to reflash everything? I don't have root.

Mi A1 VoLTE and VoWifi Codec problems/Change MBN in PDC

Hi all,
I managed to get VoLTE working on the latest stock rom making some changes to the build.prop. Unfortunately it has problems negotiating the correct codec with my carrier O2/Telefonica Germany, so the caller sounds like a robot. (see https://hilfe.o2online.de/mobilfunk...te-mit-xiaomi-a1-seit-dem-4-9-gestoert-543567 )This only happens for some calls, depending on the counterpart device.
I tried changing the modem profile with Qualcomm's PDC tool. Using VoLTE_CU I can properly use VoLTE with my carrier:

"lightbox_new_window": "New window",

}
Unfortunately this disables VoWifi for me. I've had another look and many people uploaded their .mbn modem profiles for Telefonica Germany. How can I inject this using PDC? When clicking "Load", I can select the .mbn but it won't appear in the list.
Thanks
Giegl

Choose Network button disabled and unable to detect network after flashing custom rom

I flashed PE12 custom rom in Mi A1. After flashing, my mobile network stops working. Choose Network button under Mobile Networks is disabled. I changed the sim and flashed another rom , the issue is same.
Sim network is detecting correctly as Jio 4G and number too. Please see the images below. How to make this work?
Note: IMEI numbers are showing correctly.
Thanks in advance
