Add / Unlock LTE Bands to Moto E 2015 (XT1528) - E 2015 General

Hi.
I bought the Verizon Moto E (2015) XT1528.
I am trying to get LTE work in the Philippines and LTE bands here are different from what Verizon has enabled.
I'd like to ask if anyone has been able to add/unlock other LTE bands like the guide in the link below:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s5/general/how-to-add-rf-lte-frequency-bands-to-t2886059
I am having problems searching for the code the access the USB Settings menu (step 6 of the guide above):
"Open the USB settings screen on your phone. Change USB from AP to CP. And USB settings from MTP + ADB to RNDIS + DM + Modem mode (after you have finished making edits in your phone's memory, remember to revert the original settings in this screen).
This is the hardest part of this mod as the USB setting menu is usually hidden and the method to access it is slightly different on some brands. For the S5, you can open it by dialing *#0808# . Other phones may use *#7284# , *#8778# , *#*#8778#*#* , ##3424# or something else entirely. "
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!

[Q] Us cellular s4 Diag Mode

I am going nuts trying to figure this out. I got my phone into DM mode and was able to connect DFS and CDMA WS to it and then all of a sudden it no longer is able to be read. I have done just about everything I can think of to get it working including a rtn reset and clearing efs on the phone. Nothing seems to want to kick it back into a usable DM mode.....
Anyone care to help me??

*#7284# click modem i believe (you might have to toggle to pda later)
After you do that part this is what you do.
As long as the hidden menu is enabled
press *#0808#
this will bring up a menu kinda like the s3. Under usb settings change it to
dm+modem+adb
you'll get 2 serial and modem ports. Toggle the pda and modem back and forth and it should read. *now just need someone to find the 16 digit passcode and we're all in there!
Hope this helps!

[Q] Can't access RNDIS + DM + MODEM. Codes don't work.

I am an owner of an unlocked I337M with Koodo. I have a custom rom, GPE 4.4.4 which is also rooted. In order to use Wind or Mobilicity (AWS , 1700), I must enable this function through various guides I've followed; however, I can not access this "Hidden Menu" for the USB Settings.
The only code which works is *#06# which shows my IME.
I have also turned ON the "Hidden Menu" script within the system using FX browser.
*#7284# - *#0808# - *#9090# and every other ones I have entered do not work. There are no menus popping up.
Is this because of my custom firmware? Are there newer codes for Android 4.4.4?

LG G2 - Unlocking band for AWS. To make it work with WIND/Mobilicity.

This thread for LG G2 Unlocking band for AWS. To make it work with WIND/Mobilicity. I used the Telus D803 model. Other Canadian models might be similar.
As always try this at your own risk. If you brick your device missing or adding any steps its you! messing it up!
Lot of threads on enabling this feature is confusing for this model. Finding the right information is a wild search! The following thread is clean and great:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-one/general/guide-unlock-aditional-bands-qualcomm-t2877031
Wind (AWS) enabled in Telus LG G2 D803 model and is working great. Basically rolled back to Stock ROM (4.4.2), Rooted, Enabled developer-debug mode & finally for enabled Modem mode used 'Tethering' option checked in LG stock. ROM which pops in phone whenever its connected to computer. NO ADB or terminal commands, whatsoever. Check if diag is enabled by entering in dialer => 3845#*803# and going to USB Info => USB basic info. You should see the line 'functions' has diag displayed. (Note: 803 in above dialer command since its D803 Canadian model. Replace it with your sub-model number for any other G2, ATT, Tmo etc).
Once above done, connect to computer and proceed further steps.
For Windows: When connecting to computer the NDIS network adapter might interfere with your network connection. (Since modem is enabled in phone and its now tethered to computer). Just go to network settings and disable NDIS network adapter if you are using that computer for browsing as well.
Once above is done, just follow from Step 7 of above thread. Instead of HTC Modem, it will be listed as "LGE AndroidNet USB Serial Port (COMx)". For me it was COM5 for COMx. It might vary. The appropriate LG drivers needs to be installed. (Search for LGUnitedMobileDriver)
In the above thread, once in RF_NV_Manager application the line 1877 displayed a value of 82314112. I replaced to 115868544, just enabling the Wind 1700 AWS band additionally. Saved value, rebooted phone. After restarting connected in the same procedure and verified the value is saved properly by re-reading the values from phone.
Inserted SIM, though initially it didn't display WIND (On Network search) after some 15 mins it automatically connected to Wind and now Wind network comes in network search.
Works great! Thanks for all the guidance in the forums. Hope helps someone.
Was able to verify that this does enable diag mode, but I tested on a D800
However I ended up using the modded HTC drivers to get QXDM to see the device
I tried to mod the LTE bands as well for kicks with QXDM Pro
People on Kijij selling this for $25...
I don't know how to test to see if the bands work but so far no side effects
Should be okay to just follow the LTE guide
so this should work for d805 variant? i want to unlock band 1200 and 1700 ,is that possible?

Suitable downgrade firmware with "Hidden meny" options available?

Hello
Wondering if anyone could give me a hint of which stock firmware I would need in order to get options in the hidden menu available and thats compatible with Samsung GT-I8730.
Currently running Android-version 4.1.2 original stock firmware.
Trying to unlock SIM, using Chimera but gets stuck at 19%, when a popup-window tells me to enable Diagnostic Mode (DM) by using *#0808# or *#9090# or *#7284# in dial window
The two first options nothing happens at all and dialing *#7284# brings me to PhoneUtil with options UART, Modem or PDA, where PDA was default but there is no USB section available.
Also I would need the *#9090# to set Diag config to USB-value.
Am new at this and would be grateful for any help I can get

[SM-G901F] Soft-Brick after trying to enable all 4G and 3G bands using QPST

Hey Guys,
So I wanted to get better 3G and 4G Signal, So I used a Article I came across here https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s5/general/how-to-add-rf-lte-frequency-bands-to-t2886059
I backed up NVRAM and added the additional bands as stated in this Article, and after writing the changes and a reboot on my phone, My phone bootloops and restarts as soon as it reaches the Lock Screen. This is disabling me to interface with the Serial Port again so I can change the settings back. Is there a way to stop the radio from being loaded so I can fix my phone?
Since ART takes twice as long to startup, I used a Android 4.4.4 Stock ROM and I was more successful, I had more time in the system itself but When I enabled RNDIS + DM + Modem on the Device, I only got a APQ8084 (0) Device which dosen't work with the restore and software programming (Last Time 3 Devices Showed Up APQ8084 + MDM* + No Phone (Samsung QC/Data Modem), But now I only get APQ8084 + No Phone + No Phone).
Any Ideas?

I have a SM-G900T and I was able to complete the procedure. In my case, it showed that all 3G/UMTS bands were already selected, but the bit field for the 4G was 0. My house gets 700MHz LTE, but it is Band 17, not Band 12, so I have not yet verified that the new band is enabled.
I used the "Qualcomm NV tools" including in EFS Professional to perform a backup of NVRAM before trying the procedure. I also had trouble changing the USB mode of the device. None of the secret codes for USB settings worked on my device (either with CM or stock), but I was able to use EFS professional to change the USB mode. On Win10 x64, adb and MTP were already working, but in modem/diagnostic mode, I was seeing an unknown Samsung/Android device. I reinstalled SAMSUNG_USB_Driver_for_Mobile_Phones v1.5.45.00 and restarted and voila, the serial port driver was installed.
If you successfully exposed the diagnostic virtual serial port, you should be able to use NV Tools in EFS to dump a backup of NVRAM before writing any values.

Thanks for the help but I just fixed it and now I have another problem, The phone boots but says that it needs a SIM Network Unlock Code, Should be simple enough to fix but Thank you. Even the steps you listed above may not have worked for me as the device was in a constant bootloop.
