That generally means there was an error while it was updating to Windows 10. I would recommend updating your BIOS (which worked for my computer) and/or update important drivers. Unfortuneately, there is no one size fits all answer to this problem (to my knowledge).

Ok thanks, but, how do i update my bios or even my driver if my tablet is like rebooting every 4 seconds?
Do i need to do a keyboard combinasion at the start screen with the loading circle?

Ah, I missed it was in a loop. I hate to break it to you, but if it is stuck at the loading circle, it could be a very low level problem. Do you have recovery media?

No i don't,
I got the win 10 files on my flash drive, can't i see if there a log or something that say what is the error who caused this?

Essentially, your computer goes through a few steps when it is starting up. First, it loads the BIOS, which is stored on a chip on your motherboard. Then it loads an OS loader. Then it loads Windows. You can see here for more on the process (if you want an indepth look). When it is loading Windows it goes through a few steps, as mentioned in that post. Normally, when there is a problem with booting, you can try to go into Safe Mode by holding the F8 key. You should give this a try. If that doesn't work, you have bigger problems. At that point it is very likely that Windows is broken such that the built-in tools are not able to , and you will have to recover or re-install. You will then probably want to create recovery media.
EDIT: As to a log, I do not think you would be able to find one. I don't know of any error checking at that level, since it hasn't loaded much of the operating system. Of course I could be wrong.

I don't have any data on this tablet, so i might just do an re-install, do i just need to put windows on a usb stick or do i need to do something else?
EDIT: I just looked at the files on the sd card, there is files with text in them:
"rollbackinfo" in folder "Rollback":
[Flow]
CurrentPhase=SafeOS,Start
CurrentOperation=32,end
OperationResult=2147943792
[BootEntries]
DownlevelCurrent={2D27CA4F-9B99-11E3-9D11-9483277031A5}
DownlevelDefault={2D27CA4F-9B99-11E3-9D11-9483277031A5}
[BootManager]

Backup=Yes
Info.Rec=0,10658775040,4859101184
InfS=0,240123904,10418651136
And another named "location" on folder "WIMBoot.backup":
[WinRE Location]
Partition offset=10658775040
Relative path=\Recovery\WindowsRE
On the second one can't i just put another location and install a full brand new windows on it?

i guess you have access to another PC, if so use the media creation tool (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10) to create a bootable USB stick and try reinstalling win 10

It won't even notice the usb stick, it only want the sd card, because when i remove it, it says to me to put it back in and press ok on a dialog window

Did you ever get this figured out? I'm dealing with the exact same issue here.

Update:
They sent me back a replacement tablet with 8.1 on it and forgot to send back my 32GB SD card. Just a tad miffed. I know I'll get it back, but am extremely concerned about allowing the new one to try and update to 10.
_____
Gave up and got an RMA to send it in for repair. Should get it back with Windows 10 loaded on it. FYI - the standard warranty is only 90-days, and I'm within that timeframe, so it's covered. Hope yours is as well, but not sure how they're handling this for out-of-coverage units.

I also same problem. Please help me to get my table PC again.

Stupid ASUS update bricked my A626!

A few days ago, I tried to upgrade the firmware to the latest for the SDHC support and it the middle of it it froze.. I reset and only get the ASUS welcome screen.. A hard-reset produces a black screen and nothing more.
I've been searching this site for 2 hours trying to figure out how to fix my A626 .. I've found a bunch of things, but don't seem to be getting there.
I found the nk.nb0 file and tried putting that on an SD card.. Managed to figure out the bootloader thing.. If it's not plugged in via USB, I get a blank screen for a second, then "FAT16" comes up in blue on the top of the screen (in landscape orientation) .. It sits at that longer than I'm willing to wait (so far about 5 minutes) ..
I then tried it plugged into USB, i get a blue screen with all sorts of stuff about usb and "ready for download" .. I figured this is when the usbloader.exe would work .. But I get this far:
Attempting to open Intel PXA27X USB Development Board

Is there something I'm missing here? I'm not too interested in modifying my rom or anything. I just want it to work again (preferrably with the update installed so I can use my new 4gb sdhc card.. which is the whole reason i bricked the damn thing in the first place) ..
I may just let it sit on this fat16 screen for a while.. get some rest or something.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
whoa wait... after plugging the cable into the computer a few times it finally did something... seems like i'm loading SOMETHING onto it...
Ok wow, it's working now.. and whatever I loaded is supporting the sdhc card ... i'm happy happy..
figures i'd only solve the problem if i made an ass of myself on a message board
sorry for replying to an old thread.. but just wanted to know if you currently have windows 6.2 on your pda.

Kernel Panic (OS X) upon plugging in G1

Hi,
I have been following the steps required to root the G1, and have obtained root, up until a point. However, when trying to plug my G1 into my OS X machine to copy the remaining required files over to the SD, it has caused a kernel panic on every attempt to do this.
Before, when my G1 was at CRB43 (UK phone) it interacted just fine, so I dont know why 1.0 is causing this problem.
Anyone got any ideas?
Mine isn't the same version as you (Haykuro's Hero) but yesterday I plugged in my g1 to update my phone and it BSOD my Windows 7 build Funny, but ya I'd also like to know what would cause this, though its only done it once.

I doubt its the G1, everytime something like this happens to my mac, its always the mac's fault. Could be something corrupt, try installing Onyx. Its a mac maintenance prog. Run the automation setting and see if that helps.

Another good thing to try is go into application/utilities/disk utilities and run a permissions check on your drive. I've fixed a kernel panic that way before.

It's all inclusive. It will prompt you to close everything except onyx too, so make sure you have everything saved. Its a great program!
Thanks for the tips guys, but still no joy. Plug G1 in and mouse pointer just freezes instantly...
Hey, you mentioned you have root to a point...
Since it seems we might not be able to fix the comp problem ( at least without some drastic steps like reinstalling the OS X possibly... ), can you tell us your goal with your phone? Are you trying to connect it so you can flash a different rom, or just trying to sync it with iTunes? Could you just buy a card reader and get to where you want to be?
I imagine you want to connect it to complete some sort of rooting process. If thats true we may be able to help you overcome the rooting issue.
If it helps, I have been running the Rogers R2 rom along side Leopard, and I don't have any troubles with them connecting.
Does anyone know if it would help to install the SDK? IDK, maybe there's some sort of drivers etc, that need to be reinstalled?

There are no drivers for the linux/mac sdk, so that won't help.
One other suggestion is to click on the apple in the menu bar, go to "about this mac", click on "more info", scroll to the bottom of the list and select logs under software. Choose the system.log and look for any indications of what the failure may be there. My guess is you have another usb device connected that is causing a problem. I had issues with my microsoft kybd/mouse and had to uninstall the stupid M$ software that came with it to get around a kernel panic (unrelated to the G1).
If you want, you can post the log here for us to look at.

Wow! Thats insanity.
Maybe unrelated, but I had to install a special ext2 format utility for my mac to even recognize the ext2 partition of my sd. And even then, it really didnt like mounting that partition. Never caused a kernal panic, but def slowed things down a lot.
Totally off-topic, but I love how Windows crashes are dubbed "Blue Screen of Death", while Mac OS gets "Kernel Panic".
Kernel Panic. lol
Sounds like a cartoon character.
yeah, sounds very Evil Orval Redenbacher-ish.

HTC Shift and Android... is there a way?

Hi to everyone,
I'd like to buy this device, now it's street priced at 500 euro but before I do that, I would like know if there's any way to get it into the Android platform.
As far as I read nobody speaked about that and for that I opened this thread.
What do you know about?
Cheers,
If you are thinking of trying Android like what have been tried on other devices (i.e. via SD card loading) there lies the first essential problem. There is no SD card on mobile side. Crack this and you probably can start on the Android issue.

Hi. I use a translator from Russian into English so that not worry.
I did so.
Download the Android x86 with http://android-x86.googlecode.com/files/eeepc-20090820.iso.
Install an image through unetbootion on USB stick. Start. Start the installation on the hard disk. Formatted for ext2. Rebooted. Yes, with the appearance of the boot to choose the first row, press the "e" (for her editing) and another "e". Append the following line to vga = 788. Press Enter. Then click "b" to boot. When you boot, you will need to press the button and select the video mode, I chose 8. And voila.
Camera works. Better than eeepc900. (It also tried to) the rest did not try it, they say you can start the WIFI, but I'm not good at Linux.
Maybe someone will try harder to establish all the drivers?

Yep and we don`t even have bootable kernel yet, unless Neutron83 has founded out something, as he was working with this. There is another topic about this..

Why cant I install Sd Android?

Someone might be able to show me in the right direction.
Been trying to load several android roms on my hd2. Everyone has been a SD version, But for some reason the installation stops at the initial black screen with "micro size" text. Am I doing something wrong not getting past that screen?
Please help. Been trying fo 6 hours now, about to give up.
Tx for help guys,
/Wiklander
What do the last few lines of 'micro size text' say? If it's truly failing to boot, there's usually a clue in there as to why.
What build are you currently trying to boot up?
The first boot up can take quite awhile, sometimes 5-10 minutes. Let it go for a good while, and if it still won't boot, report back with what build it is, and the last 5 lines or so of the white micro size text. Good luck
Sent from my HTC HD2 using XDA App
I think the last line in the boot screen was jumping to kernel or something like that. Dont know if that helps..
After it says that, does the screen change to black with a green HTC logo, or stay with the white text? The older initrd.gz's showed all the text, while the newer ones cover it with the HTC screen. Was there like 100 lines of code or just a few?
It sounds like it's failing to load the kernel.

Yeah, I sometime also experienced as you did
You can try to reformated your SD card and dont put any files except the Android rom files. And when your copy the Android files from PC, use Card Reader. Also try to combine with other winmo roms, because sometime it just works when you use other winmo roms. Also try redownload and do MD5 checksum to ensure the downloaded file is correct and not corrupted
If it still fails, you can try use with a brand new sd card.
Good luck
Goodluck
first make sure your SD card is error free, it means you have to check it using any aoftware, windows explorer will do, just right-click the card on My computer, go to properties-tools and check it for errors. I also recommend formatting it, make sure you uncheck quick format, choose FAT32 for file system and 32 for cluster size (not smaller!) and again.
also, read the build's info again, some builds require you creating a config file before you start, like the one in my sig, if so, you have to create that file before you start android.
hope that helps

? Windows 10 on a WinBook TW800

I have a WinBook TW800 from Micro Center. I wanted to load Windows 10 on it, has anyone on here done this? Maybe you can give me tips\pointers on how to go about doing this; is the update method better or would a clean install be the ideal way? Thanks for your help in advanced.
Well I got my answer today while trying to do it via the update way. I got an error that my tablet wasn't able to upgrade because the OS is compressed something about Boot WIM. SMH.

I'm having issues too. I don't think the 800 has enough space to do the install. The 801 seems like a better option due to the 16gb of storage, vs the 8gb on the 800.

I will try it this some time this week. Thanks.
No luck
Apparently I can't because the memory is full so I basically can't do anything with this POS. I can't back it up or restore it or add anything to it, it actually runs out of disk space when uninstalling stuff.
I successfully installed Windows 10 on my TW-801 I first installed internally (internal installation failed) and then installed again via the sdcard (so you have to burn the win image to the sdcard for the second install in addition to doing the download for the first install). The second time Windows 10 was activated. I am also running Ubuntu with VMWare on a virtual machine on this tablet. Windows 10 is alot better than 8.1 on this tablet. I think even though the internal installation fails it saves the Windows 10 activation code and the second install works because it is not a download and is directly from the cd or in this case the sd. Also, during the first download (that fails) two files are created on the c drive that I copied to the sdcard that I had already burned the win image on it - I don't know if that did anything or not.
