I got in touch with samsung care i talked to them regarding this and they ended the call with a Straight NO update coming Statement..
That left me Sad. Crying.

I am very excited to know the Samsung has launched its official 4.4 update for Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 device in India. I live in Pakistan and bought this phone SAMSUNG store, I checked using Kies and directly from phone that the latest available OS for my device is 4.3.
Can you please tell me when will I taste 4.4 update for my device?????? I would appreciate your early response,

At max you people should also get it till end of this month and samsung never officially tells about the update before hand

Bro I'm also from pakistan there is no hope for update here you have duos sm-G7102 I think so you can try custom roms in development section those roms are kitkat and have s5 apps

never install KITKAT stock based ROM on jellybean as there as differences between the two versions
you can do one thing flash the indian version of kitkat throug odin(official firmware)
then you can install these custom roms

Hi
I have Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime SM-G530/H/DV model . I did factory Reset . Then TouchWiz stopped problem arose. I disabled TouchWiz and installed APUS Launcher. That worked fine. Then I want to give cell to another person. I did Factory Reset again. After this the following problems arose.
1- A pop up massage during booting arose. “Unfortunately Process com. Android. systemUI has been stopped”
2- Above mentioned message hang the cell on Main Screen, I can not operate any function.
3- IMEI No. INVALID.
4- Mobile cannot be accepted connection with PC, ODIN, Kies etc.
Kindly guide me in this regard as I am a beginner in the matter of programming etc.

Looks like you've already been on a quest for compatible ROMs by posting "works on SM G531H?" in several threads last year (try to avoid multi-posting). No luck so far? Judging by the very limited search I've done it doesn't look very good for your device, does it? I've also noticed that this device still has a button on the chin! Maybe it's time for a chinbuttonless upgrade? Not discouraging the quest for upgrading old devices though! Definitely applauding that but sometimes it's just a dead end. I hope someone else can provide better news.
