Buying a Oneplus Two from Alibaba / Aliexpress? - OnePlus 2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Some Suppliers on Alibaba/Aliexpress/geekbuying already list the Oneplus Two for Presale.
Here are some Links:
Apparently I cant post Links, but you can search them on your own on Alibaba/aliexpress/geekbuying
The Rating of all the Suppliers is pretty good so I gues its not a scam.
I contacted the Suppliers and they only sell the chinese Version, is there a difference besides the OS (which I gues can be flashed pretty easily).
Or are there Hardware-Differences between a Chinese Version and a InternationalVersion like Radio-Frequences and such?
Cause this seems to good to be true :b

I ordered one from Chigon last year and was very happy with it. Only difference was it didnt have a Cyanogen logo on the back but usually they are identical models.
Im ready to order one again but waiting for confirmation its the 64gb version, on chigon it says 64gb in the title but then says black 16gb rom
so dont wanna pay anything out till i know its the one i want lol

It is OK to buy from GeekBuying but you need to be aware some Aliexpress sellers.
You can wait for their review of the Chinese variant. As my experience, GeekBuying always shoot reviews on their YouTube channel for hot products. What's more, you can confirm that they will "have" the OPT.

Yeah I saw the thread from last year, Chigon seems like a really legit Supplier, he also has the 64GB Version as an option now.
But I also found the Supplier Shenzhen Top-One Trading Co., Ltd. , he has a better rating then Chigon and is, at the moment, cheaper then Chigon. So I will probably buy from Top one trading
And it seems that only the OS and Frequences are different to the international model, but all the frequences from my home country are supported so I will defenitly buy it from Aliexpress.

I already ordered from top one aliexpress.64gb model .

How long it takes to get it from aliexpress?

I've have bought several smartphones from Spemall and I can assure that is a very reliable shop. I asked them yesterday about the availability for the OPT and told me they already have it on stock, but of course, only chinese version.

Where did you get your OPPO?

Hey guys, I'm interested in either buying the Oppo Find 5, or the Finder in black. I was wondering where you guys got yours so I can compare prices or see if sites are trustworthy or not. I know the main Oppo site has the Find 5, but I'm more interested in the Finder. It'd be great if you guys can help me find out where to buy my phone.
Thanks.
I'm bought it in Bangkok for 16999 thai baht. White, 16gb.

Got mines from here.

I am in China....pretty easy to buy to buy one from B2C vendor.
Oppostyle.com they are really great. And very good support:laugh:
I've bought mine at oppostyle.com! Pretty damn good phone!
is there any retailer in europe?
For the Finder I'd say maybe Pandawill but I have no experience with that site. OPPO will not be selling it internationally so you'll have to send it back to your reseller for them to claim warranty for you. Same thing with the Chinese version Find 5. But I doubt you'd need to claim warranty, they're rock solid phones.
Where do you live?

Ordered it on oppostyle.com
They processed it on Monday and gave it to DHL
Wednesday it arrived here
I live in Germany
liaow.com
got mine from craigslist! Saw someone had a white one for sale that was less than 2 weeks old. he got it from amazon for 499, i picked it up from him for 320!
I would definitly go for oppostyle.com! Got my Find 5 from there as well
Got mine yesterday at amazon
From oppostyle.com
is there any retailer in europe yet?

OnePlus One Discussion Thread For Pakistan Users

I found such threads created for other devices as well so I decided OnePlus One also needed one. Here, I hope to discuss about the pricing, availability and sellers.
I would add all the information in OP so everyone can read all the information we gather through discussion!
Right now, HomeShopping is the only seller selling OnePlus One in Pakistan. They currently require a 3 to 4 week shipping time which is totally understandable to the rarity of this phone.
Pricing:
OnePlus One 16GB White : 41990PKR Link
OnePlus One 64GB White: 74990PKR Link
OnePlus One 16GB Black: 59990PKR Link
OnePlus One 64GB Black: 74990PKR Link
I'm currently in UK and today ordered OPO. Hope to receive in next 1-2 weeks and then will be on the way to Pakistan for few months. can't wait for OPO,

Ullu bana rahay hein logon ko. Selling a $350 phone for PKR 75000, it's madness. If you even factor in all the shipping costs and customs/import duties, it's still outrageous to more than double the price of a single unit. Pakistani market is sick.

75K are almost 760 USD on today's exchange rate. That's madness.
Anyone wants to buy OPO 64GB then i would advice them to buy from Aliexpress and shipped to their address in Pakistan. It cost 490 USD including shipping charges and delivery with DHL within 4-8 days. saving of almost 280 USD which are 28K rupees.

Where does Aliexpress originally belong ? Is it a Pakistani business or is it American based, any idea ? Plus, do you have any experience dealing with them ? Any significant purchases ? Are they good enough to put your trust in them ? Are you sure the figure $490 includes our sick customs clearance as well ? I would want to be very sure of all these things before placing an order.

Aliexpress is chine site similar to ebay and 40% owned by Yahoo. Its perfectly safe site as long as you buy your stuff from verified sellers. I bought my OPO 64GB on 11th and delivered on 18th to UK and cost me around £280 or 480USD. including all the shipping and custom charges.
If you check thread on link then you will see lots of xda users from Europe and North America bought it from aliexpress including my self.

These 2 seller is well known and verified sellers
1, J&K Technology seller

2, Shenzhen Chigon aka jack ma

I bought my OPO from seller 2. You can contact them via contact now option and they will give you all the info you needed about charges and custom related.
One more then. In case you buy from one of these 2 sellers and chose DHL then DHL will pay the custom charges on your behalf and will deliver phone to your address. Then at point of delivery you have to pay custom charges to delivery guy. Not sure how much custom but should not be more then 2000Rs.

Thanks for the tips and all the info.
Yes, I have been reading on 1+1 and Aliexpress on an indian thread, a great many of them have ordered from and been recommending J&K Tech. They were referring to a shipping service names Arames or something through which they didn't incur any custom charges but the ones who choose DHL had to pay the duty. I don't know the logic behind all this but currently J&K team lists Singapore Post (free shipping to Pakistan) and DHL ($40) as their shipping services. With Singapore Post the delivery time is 15-59 days ! That's 2 months ! Can't say how much of a time do they actually take normally though.
And what about the invite system, any idea ? I read if you own the phone you can invite others to get one. Is it also valid for someone who purchased it from outside OPO such as yourself or only valid for the in house program ?
How is the CM11 on this phone by the way ? Have you managed to get the google apps installed yet ?
Let me know the overall experience. Is it worth ditching my note 3 for ?

Brother I was about to order last week then after some research I found out.
For any phone purchase/import a Pakistani needs a NOC from PTA based upon the IMEI of the phone. For NOC you can apply from a GPO and 5-7 business days you will get NOC.
Issues possible
Getting IMEI of phone before actual purchase is impossible. No vendor will provide.
If we don't get NOC on time, after a fixed time period phone will be wasted(Used by children of Government officers)
Allmytech.com offering 64gb for 52k which is reasonable. I hope soon it's gets down to 45k.

Now selling Z2 at Olx to get OPO.
If you can get OnePlus one. Get it right away. All custom room devs are supporting and most of all FrancoKernel is there.

Waleed, I think we should wait a few more weeks or may be a month or so until the launch of note 4 in September. OPO will sure drop in price after that. I personally am not very tired of my note 3 and can certainly wait a couple more months to see how the market shapes up. If note 4 is not as good as I expect I will jump over for the OPO but I hope the price by that time would drop to around 38-40K PKR. Inshaallah. Let's see.

Note 4 can only be exciting if 64bit SOC and OS are introduced, other than that it will be a just highly priced phablet.

They don't deliver in Pakistan I'm sure. You'll have to get it delivered to some friend/relative in some other country and then finally figure out to get it here when they fly back. Kaam lamba hai but if you've someone in abroad who might be flying home soon, you've a pretty sweet deal at your hands.

3GB RAM
32GB Storage
Fingerprint reader

Soooooo annoying.... And I got my redmi 3 like few weeks back....
I was considering getting note 3 only because of fingerprint sensor, but it is way too large for my liking. And now they release this.

Don't be. Plus it's to be expected that they'd get either an Enhanced or Prime (well except now obviously it's a Pro so) out. Not that I defend Xiaomi but they're not the only ones struggling to balance out price points.
Subject to individual preference of course, sure both 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage are more than welcome but are you sure you don't want to pair those to a slightly more capable SoC with better GPU OR at least with an FHD screen instead?
As for me being Malaysian when Mi are lagging their ass in their own sweet time to even bring in proper official Redmi 3/ido sets on time let alone this Pro I can't be arsed to wait and definitely are happy with how much I've paid for my imported set so yeah.
Hello everyone, does someone know, will the PRO version have capacity buttons light?
Any news here yet? It says 4th of April, but I can't really find anything yet.
It will be more great if :
Super AMOLED 2560 x 1440 pixels or QHD+ with Gorilla Glass 5 with 3D or Force Touch too
SD652 or SD825 in it
USB Type-C
QC 3.0 or Super VOOC
24 UltraPixel with f/1.2 main camera & 24 UltraPixel front camera with f/1.2 (Best lowlight) dual-pixel + iSight technology
Micro SD Card (up to 512Gb) slot separetly from SIM 2nd Slot
10.000 mAh battery capacity
What do you think?

I've just purchased from Spemall. Never used them before, but I guess Paypal has my back if anything dodgy happens. £144 delivered to the UK by DHL, with the promise that they'll "lower the invoice price" so that I get charged less tax at import... We'll see. Should be here by the end of next week.
Just ordered one Redmi 3 Pro yesterday, hope to reicive it as soon as possible.

Ah that's a shame, live and learn I guess. DHL was a pound more but showing as 60% discount, so I assumed that it was the better value option.
This handset is now on hotukdeals.co.uk under an AliExpress seller for the bargain price of £120.

Hey guys,
Is spemall.com a reliable/trustworthy site? I am currently in Cyprus (EU) and its basically between ibuygou.com and spemall.com. Which handles returns friendlier and you guys have had better experiences with?
Thanks!
Hello I just get my redmi 3 Pro. I am installing some apps and noticed that heats up very fast. Does anyone feel the same?
Also sorry if my english is bad im spanish speaker. :good:
I'm not sure whether I should buy the pro version or the non-pro version, if I'm buying the pro version, can I use the ROMs from the non-pro version?
Some one can help me, where is price cheapest?
i'm want to buy PRO version
I've now received my Redmi 3 Pro and after a week of use I am very happy with it. I'm getting 6-7 hours of screen on time, the camera is much better than the reviews led me to believe, and it's been an all round decent experience. The only thing that is bugging me is that I'm on the Chinese ROM and don't seem to have a clear answer on whether the Redmi 3 ROMs will work or will brick my device. Ideally I'd run CM12, but even the Global Miui would be better than the Chinese one.
Redmi 3 Roms seem yet not to work with pro version. Fingerprint and network seem not to work.
Waiting for a fixed release of EU rom.

Well, ain't I lucky. http://es.aliexpress.com/store/1986585 <-- may NOT want to get something there. I ordered a Xiaomi Redmi3, but I got a 2nd hand Samsung E7, packaged in their own unique tape and all. Had to escalate the dispute with Aliexpress, luckily they helped me out.
I guess I may be trying again for the pro version. Any other reviewers?

Selling Mate 8 suggestions

After much thought I think a 6p is better suited for my needs. Being in the US there doesn't seem to be a big market for the Mate 8. Where would you suggest selling my brand new AL10 64gb 4gb ram version? Swappa only shows the L29 version and nobody seems to want it for a trade despite the higher value of it. I also would like to stay away from the bay. Had but luck selling phones there. TIA
Sell on celltraderonline
None of the out of mainstream phones sell well after the first initial 3 months of release. You will always take a lose with imported phones after buzz.
You have to be a little flexible on the price though. You have slim chance of getting anything close to retail besides listing on ebay. But after fees, you could sell it elsewhere with a smoother transaction.
I would have bought it but 32gb version on ebay for 415 was a better deal.

Thanks for the info. I'll try my luck on there.
As far as price, wish we would've discussed it further. I followed up and never heard anything more as I would've come down quite a bit from my initial number. Either way hope you enjoy the 8!
I hear ya man, i'm selling mine as well but if no one buys it then I'll just keep it as a spare.

ZTE Axon 7 availability

Hi everyone,
I am looking into ordering the ZTE Axon 7. On the ZTEUSA website they state that new orders will be shipped at the beginning of november which is very far away. Some other webshops like Newagg still seem to sell them. Is there any advantage waiting 3 weeks and buying it from ZTE directly? Or is Newagg just fine? Or any other webstores with quick shipping?

Try BestBuy. Also use the store locator to find out if they have one in stock in your preferred color. You could then always call the store and have it shipped to one in your area.
Off course there are some areas that do not have many BestBuy stores. Anyway, give it a shot.

I came from a Nexus 5 so the jump to this phone was huge for me (metaphorically and literally). I love everything about it EXCEPT for the software. I miss having stock android and I wish A7 had capacitive buttons. I will admit that my A7 DOES stutter more than my N5 in some cases like opening notifications, opening the app drawer, scrolling (at times). I installed a 200gb micro sd card immediately upon getting it and it's been awesome to have 249 gb of storage at my disposal. Overall I'm still very happy with my decision and I hope this phone will last me for the next 3 years (like my N5 did for me). It makes me feel sad though knowing that they'll probably stop updating this phone after the hype dies down and new products get released so I really hope this phone develops a very active modding community.
One advantage of ordering directly from ZTE is they give you a 30 day return window with no restocking fees. The same can not be said for Newegg, B&H, or Best Buy.
Jet.com
Use coupon code shop10 for an additional 50 off. I believe the code only works on new accounts. No tax in cali, not sure about elsehwere.
Don't know what the guy talking about stutter is on about. Had a HTC One M8 then a Nexus 6. This phone blows them both away. Seen 0 lag, and I always use smart power mode.

The following quote is from the ZTEUSA Passport 2.0 info page: "The 30 Day return policy applies only to phones purchased directly from zteusa.com. Proof or confirmation of direct purchase required. Phones purchased from other sources are subject to the return policies of the retail seller. Retailer return policies may vary".
If you click on the "Warranty & Returns" tab on the Newegg Axon 7 page, it states this item is non refundable and can only be exchanged for the same item.
Well why does the passport 2 card say they accept returns from partner retailers?
