is there ANY development for Galaxy Core Prime "Value edition" SM-G361F .. ? - Samsung Galaxy Core Prime Questions & Answers

is there ANY development for Galaxy Core Prime "Value edition" SM-G361F .. ?
So, I got this phone as a gift. Being that I hate anything that has to do with Touchwiz and being that this "value edition" has completely different hardware than other versions of "Core Prime" phones, Im guessing this phone goes into the trash .. ?
Not only did Samsung for some unexplained reasons made 4 regular versions of this phone, but this value edition packs totally different hardware than all 4 "regulars". PDADB site has this info (what an awesome website for phones!) -
CPU: 64 bit Marvell ARMADA PXA1908 ('the F is this ? )
Graphic chip: Vivante GC7000UL ('the F is that ? )
some Samsung versions of chips .. ? I know my info on ARM chips, never heard of these.
I aint gonna root this ever .. ? let alone remove TW or install custom rom .. ?
If there is any info on this particular device, please share. Thanks in advance

Ubuntu Touch on Ideos S7 ...

Hi!
In case anyone want to try to run the new Ubuntu Touch on our Ideos S7 device, Canonical provided a porting guide, which explains the steps needed to port Ubuntu on a new hardware:
--> wiki.ubuntu.com/Touch/Porting
( a grande bosta que é o XDA não me deixa colocar links externos... )
Remenber it is a developer preview!

Theoretically should be possible to have everything on the S7 working, as Ubuntu re-uses the same Android binary blobs already available on the S7.
To rapidly support a wide range of devices, our architecture reuses some of the drivers and hardware enablement available for Android.
As a consequence, at the current images you'll find some of the Android services running at the device, and the Ubuntu filesystem living separately, inside a container.
For quick reference, these are the current components used from Android:
- Linux Kernel (stock Android kernel provided by the vendor, with a few changes to support some extra features needed by Ubuntu)
- OpenGL ES2.0 HAL and drivers
- Audio/Media HAL and services, to re-use the hardware video decoders
- RILD for modem support

Hi JotaMG, this will require much work, specialy the kernel part, better bet a group of people and do it together.
My best bet is used some part of the work for htc passion same type cpu ( it helps ) same type of board.
If you get more people interested you can count with me.

SM-N900 Confusion

i recently bought an N900 note 3 and after some research and phone manipulation i'm totally confused about the Soc and CPU
i saw many peoples wondering why their N900 shows only 4 cores instead of 8 , i at first i thought that my device is the faulty one because everyone was seeing only 4 cores i was seeing 8 using all apps
but after some more focusing i get panic after seeing that i have an 8 cores device (Exynos 5420 ) which does not meet the real reference , in another word i searched about the Exynos 5420 and i found that its composed of 4+4 cores the first one is 4 cores of Cortex-A15 : 1.9 Ghz and the second is 1.3 Ghz but in my case both are 1.9 Ghz ( as shown in the attachment )
i start to really fear that my device isn't genuine but except for that thing every other details looks normal (ill post screens )
PS : i installed a stock ROM using ODIN for the model Sm-N900 Downloaded from SamMobile and i think a fake note 3 wont be able to deal with such procedure no ?
Please anyone that is having this same issue tell me , and if anyone have an answer for it it ill really appreciate any help and thanks

Help identifying and updating Marubox M706T3 (Android 7.1.1)

I bought a Marubox M706T3 from Ali. The specs say it comes with an Allwinner A23 quad core CPU. I want to upgrade Android to 7.1.2, but there doesn't seem to be a ROM for the A23 However, the information I get from CPU-Z is not conclusive:

^^ Here it identies as A23...
^^ but the model is T3...
^^ and so is the build.
Last but not least, the model number of the head unit is M706T3.
@****-jones mentioned a Russian forum (4pda.ru) in another thread, and after some digging around I found a post mentioning the A23 and T3 ( 4pda.ru/forum/index.php?showtopic=806442&st=7900#entry72921019 ), but the conclusion gets lost in translation.
What are your thoughts: should a T3-rom work?
Anyone?
It says:
Allwinner A23 - dual core processor, the Chinese guys probably made a mistake in the description.
T3 = CorteX A7
The marubox description is correct in the beginning, but then something apparently went wrong.
This is also in the OP:
Attention! Those who had Android 6 out of the box are strongly NOT recommended to move to android 7, after flashing MCU of android 7 there will be no way back, you will keep with MCU of 7 forever, if you go back to 6, you will not be able to flash MCU for the version from 6. On android 7, old mother boards can behave unpredictably, in most cases the internal microphone stops working and bluetooth volume will reset when rebooting.

As I understand, older model head units get upgraded CPU's sometimes. Some advertisements say "units purchased after date X come with CPU Y". Maybe this is the case here too, since I found this on the inside of the head unit...
Maybe they upgraded the CPU/RAM-module to run Android 7? Would it be able to run the ROM mentioned at 4pda.ru/forum/index.php?showtopic=837879 ?

So I couldn't find a 7.1.2 ROM on 4PDA, but many people contacted the sellers they got their devices from and they sent them ROMS, so you should try that.

tnx for your answer mr..so a20 have exynos 7885 and not 7884?so why in gsmarena and xda and other site write that it have 7884?
@znayver If you change your build.prop, you can have any SoC you like reported. The phones motherboard is obviously a generic board for the 788x family and the ROM generically built for 788x SoCs. Whether or not a 7884 exists or is just an underclocked 7885 is another story - very unlikely a 14nm device would not run much faster than our device is limited to.
