[Q] Random touch input on 360 degree video content (HTC One M8) - Google Cardboard

When I go to use the google cardboard app and 360 degree videos on YouTube, my phone get random touch input like i'm tapping the screen really fast and randomly. This also causes my phone to vibrate like crazy. It looks like it thinks there is a mouse connected because a mouse cursor intermittently appears.
Here is some info to get started:
OS: 5.1.1
ROM: Carbon
Let me know what other info you need and i'll do my best to provide it.

Anyone using MAMECE or PocketCultMAME?

I tried PocketCultMAME and MAMECE3
I can't seem to get the audio working properly for the Advantage (T-Mobile Ameo). It slows the games down up to a point where it becomes unusable. Without sound it's not as much fun though.
Also the keys on the screen part don't seem to work. Only the Vueflow key works. I cannot move the characters along with the joystick. It has to be with the keyboard. Which is awkward since the game is displayed vertically.
Anyone got this (or another MAME type emulator) running properly on his Advantage?

Multimedia Dock

I just bought one of these, pretty cool, the phone swithes nicely to dock mode but then the touch screen is very unresponsive and laggy, whats up with that?
and I plugged in the hdmi connector but only get a "M" logo on the tv, how to mirror the phone? or watch videos?
What ROM are you running?
If you're on the stock Motorola ROM you should get a popup asking what you want to do, the options being webtop, multimedia station, etc.
If you're running a custom ROM that has landscape mirroring working, just plugging in the phone via HDMI should mirror your phone on the TV.
question: how good is the quality on either the multimedia dock or the HDMI mirroring?
like YouTube, Netflix videos. will they be grainy, pixelated? or...?
ok thanks, Im running stock ROM, i remember the popup, i think i chose desktop or something. it now runs in landcape mode with some apps along the bottom and a big clock. what mode is that?

Screen Lock while playing video

Not sure if this has already been addressed? I am looking for a App or some sort of control on my tablet, so that when I am watching videos it locks out the screen. My daughter is almost 1 year old, and likes to watch Mickey Mouse on my tablet. The issue is, she likes to hold my tablet, and ends up turning off Mickey. I wanted to be able to disable the touch screen, or have a certain area to activate the touch screen again. Not sure if there is a app like this? Thanks for any help!

I'm pretty sure mx player has an option on screen that allows you to lock it down while playing, I also find it to be a very nice, straight forward player that runs all my files nicely.

More than that I've been searching for an app that turns off the display completely while hooked up over hdmi. That plus Ps3 controller = replacing the wii in my bedroom. Ha
Is this real life?

[Q] Acer Iconia W500 XBMC issue

Sorry if this has been asked before, I did try the search feature but it did come up with nothing on this particular problem.
Ok, I've just bought myself an Acer W500 tablet and I love it! I am however a massive XBMC fan and this seems to be giving me some grey hairs..
The main problem is the touch controls. Everything runs fine, but for some reason there's a mouse pointer on the screen that moves to my every touch. Every time I touch the screen the "options panel" hidden on the left side also pups up and I mean every time!! The hardest part is actualy getting the OSD controls to work during movie playback. It's so bad that I have to tap the "stop" button around 20 - 30 times before the tap actualy registers.
Is anyone else experiencing the same problems?
Any advice?
Thanks for taking the time to read this..

i9505 - issues with smart dock after lollipop upgrade

Hi all. I've looked for an answer to this issue, but to no avail.
I usually dock my s4 to samsung' s smart dock at home and I use it connected to a tv with mouse and keyboard attached for basic needs. Till lollipop upgrade everything worked flawlessy, now there are some issues:
Original TW: upon connection (power, hdmi etc), the screen goes off and appears on the tv, oriented and scaled to fill the display. this is fairly good, since I don't need anymore a rotation control app, the problem is that if the screen goes off, the only way to interact with the phone is via keyboard and mouse, which is annoying. does anyone know a way to control this behaviour?
GPE: the screen stays on upon connection, but sound is not sent through hdmi, only through the smart dock 3.5mm connectior
thanks, any hint appreciated
