HI GUYS!!!
I really need your help!
I have tried to upgrade my Head Unit with Kotix's recent firmware, but for some reason I blew it....
I don't know for sure what's my headunit specs, but after a quick search through the internet I think this is it:
Headunit S150 - Already came with the android 4.
It was for a mercedes SLK R171... when I checked the RoadNav website, I've found this:
RN model: I096
Build number: IML74K-20140916
MCU: O005
FLASH: S00C
I think the problem is that When I downloaded Kotix's firmware I didn't changed it to my model.... Actually, I don't know how to change it.
I inserted the SD card in the GPS slot, rebooted the HU and the options menu appeared... I selected FULL/OFICIAL FIRMWARE.
It updated and installed everything, then it asked me to remove the SD Card from the GPS slot, which I did, and then the screen went black.
And that's it. Until now I can't see anything on my HU.
The source Light comes up, all of the other lights don't. The unit's screen is black all the time, no Image, No Sound, NOTHING.
BUT: I've noticed that my Phone connects to the HU Bluetooth... but that's it, no sound or anything at all.
I've tried to perform the hard Reset (with a clip on that little hole), the screen appears WHITE, then it stays black again, nothing happens.
I've tried also to insert the SD Card again in the GPS slot, with Kotix FIrmware, but I doesn't do anything, just stays black....
Also, I've downloaded the I096 FIrmware from the RoadNav Website, trying to install it in the HU, but without Sucess, the screen continues black, nothing happens.
Can you help me? What Can I do? :crying:

Hi, i have an xda, i got from ebay, I've had it a few days and its worked fine, i turned it off, and a few hours later turned it back on, and when it came to the Password screen it froze, i couldn't input anything.
So i tried doing a hard reset, but when i do, it brings up the wallaby boot thing, and then says GSM Error, so i reset the xda, and when it starts I get the O2 screen, then i get a white screen, with the keyboard icon int he bottom right, and it won;t do anything.
I'm wanting to try and re flash it by booting from the SD card, but i need the software and images to flash it.
Also, is it possible whiile rflashing to put pocket pc 2003 on?

I bought (ORDER DATE Jul 25, 2017) head unit Xtrons TCD761AL and yesterday I has two problems with radio. First problem I solved (app for playing music was not working. Problem was solved after factory reset), second problem I can´t solve. After factory reset, I set my radio (date, time, equalizer, fm radio stations, wallpaper etc...). Last step was set logo on radio starting. Then, screen started flashing. I tried to turn the radio off and turn on again. Nothing change, radio turn on and screen still flashing. I tried to use reset button, but nothing happen too. I can´t find any solution on internet for my radio.
This issue look like o software problem. Please, can you help me find some solution? Do you know combination of buttons for recovery system or have you some link for new firmware?

but I had a problem with the reversing camera, black screen, then I tried to install a different rom, but the same as mine and stock, when I gave the command to sp flash tool, Firmware Upgrade was selected, so it made me the format of the head unit, obviously the rom did not finish the flash, and I had to open the unit to make the test point, in the firmware upgrade the preloader was also selected (other bull**** made), in the end on 4pda I read cge maybe it could have been EMMC_PART_BOOT1 corrupted due to the format, so following the instructions I wrote one equal to mine in the head unit, now after several attempts I managed to install its firmware, only that it turns on, shows the androi logo, then reboots and goes into recovery .....
Please help me, I'm getting mad since this morning, how can I solve ...

Good morning forum, I update you, I managed to sew boot 1 to the preloader, I tried to flash the same rom that gave me problems with the reversing camera, and now the head unit turns on and goes into boot without then going into recovery, but it remains with the fixed logo and does not go on .... Do you have any suggestions? What can I try to do to solve this problem ?? Thanks in advance, to anyone who will have a good heart to help me ..

Hello,
i have a "Bosion" px6 android 10 (really 9) headunit which was from aliexpress.
i had an issue with the "autokit" carplay app showing artifacts, and the solution from the seller was to downgrade.
i was originally on
OS VER: KC1E0129-P01-11.1.4.9.1 - BLINK161 - 20210118
MCU VER: STM32-20210109-11-BD6-56
The seller provided me with
os_update_KC1E0124-PA1-1.1.4.8.1_20200729_180609
mcu-202007071001KC6-1154.upd
The update steps provided by them was as follows:
First update OS then MCU
i updated (or downgraded) to the os update successfully, but was missing lots of apps, DSP, BT phone etc, i then installed the MCU update, around 10% in the unit went black and has been in that state since. i allowed 1 hour before switching ignition off and back on but headunit still black screen no response or lights.
Not sure what went wrong? Was the file they provided incorrect?
What can i do in this situation?
Ive attached an image of the headunit.
Ive tried all sorts of recovery options ive read on here and on YouTube with no luck so far - Hopefully someone else can help me.

Hi. I've an android radio TS9L m400 for 3 years.
Yesterday it worked perfectly. Today when I start up the car, the radio' screen frozen in "android logo". I try to on/off the car but the radio still go until "android" logo.
Can you help me pls?
Maybe I have to factory reser from usb? i dont know how.
