[Q] Rooting Samsung TAB A (sm-t350) - Samsung Galaxy Tab A series Questions & Answers

I have seen a post about the Samsung Tab A and Rooting. This was about a month and half ago. I was wondering if there was a way to root the device. I know it is still a fairly new device.
Thanks for advice in advance

You can just go to www.supersu.com and find a tutorial on how to do it. I want to tell you all of the steps but it is a tedious process so I hope I helped!

[Q] I just need a simple answer to a rooting question.

Hey guys, I just bought two new phones to replace my Captivate (I hate parting with that phone) and my S2 T989. Now I'm the owner of a new Samsung Avant SM- G386T and an S5 G900T.
I want to root the S5 and I've read around to learn about getting it rooted and I've not been able to get any real clear answer of the best way and the easiest way. Does Towel work on the ANE6 or not? Can it be done through Mobile Odin? Will it or will it not effect the Knox counter?
So much for having only a simple question.
As also as always, thanks to anyone and everyone for your time.

Yes rooting will trip Knox
No, you can't root thru Mobil Odin, must be thru Computer

Okay, thanks. I appreciate the answer. I'm still reading all the posts I can on getting this S5 rooted. It drives me nuts not having access to files and to get rid of bloatware. I'll do a ROM a little later. I don't really care about tripping Knox, but I'd rather not. And as of a few weeks ago I don't have a PC to use. So I'll keep reading and see what I can do.
Thanks

Actually you can root the S5 without tripping Knox with the Towelroot method. I'm not sure if your model is supported, though, you will have to check that or just try if ist works.
That's what I thought, thanks. I'll check to see if my model is compatible.

[Q] HELP! Root for Sprint Galaxy Tab 4 T237

Hello All,
I'm digging around threads and cannot find a sure fire root method for my Sprint Galaxy Tab 4 7" (T237). If someone could point me towards a definitive good method of rooting my device I'd appreciate it. I've rooted almost all of my phones with Odin and never had an issue but can't seem to find anything. I sort of need a sure fire way to root because I did not add insurance on my device and I used to work for Sprint so getting a phone replaced wasn't an issue. I just want to cover all my bases that the data/LTE will remain working after root. Thanks in advance!!

This only safe thing I can suggest is kingroot http://www.kingroot.net/down (click first download) you can search on YouTube on how to use kingroot so yeah. If that doesn't work, then your going to have do it another way

Rooting And prep for modding?

I've been an s5 user for almost a year now. And left everything as stock. But now I want to start to root and install custom recovery to start modding my phone. And was just wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of links to what I need to do this. I am familiar with the modding processes as I did a lot of it with my galaxy S3. Just not for the S5. Thanks in advance.

look for cf autoroot and make sure its the right file for your phone. Next time if you ask for a link it would come in handy if you also mention which type of S5 you have

thanks for your interest in replying..however it seems that you just replied with rooting method in general and not knowing the real issue about this specific device..
None of this methods works for this device as of the moment.
I think you also do not have the same device as me so it's really hard to provide something that you're unsure of
