[Q] Rooting Galaxy S5 SM-G901F? - Galaxy S 5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi there,
I am quite new into rooting and I would please like your advice regarding that particular topic. I recently bought myself a Galaxy S5 Plus LTE (SM-G901F) and I really want to make use of its full potential by rooting it. I have however some concerns regarding its rooting compatibility. I have done some research myself and I apparently have a Nordic version of the Galaxy S5 Plus. So is it possible to root my device?
Here is a detailed list of my Galaxy S5 Plus device:
Model number:
SM-G901F
Android version:
5.0.2
Baseband version:
G901FXXU1BOC4
Kernel version:
3.10.40-4385543
Build number:
LRX22G.G901FXXU1BOC4
Best regards,
TWB

Hi guys!
I also have a SM-G901F that i'm trying to root. But i'd rather keep my knox at 0x0, if possible. So, is there any way to root the S5 Plus without tripping the bloody knox? Or is CF-Auto-root our only way so far?
Thank you kindly!

no way of knox 0x0 ! only cf autoroot works for g901f so your knox will be 0x1!
also a custom recovery will set your knox too 0x1

Ok, ty so very much mate

G928F on android 5.1.1 root

Hi everyone, im new here.
Anyone know, is there a working method to get android 5.1.1 rooted with knox 0x0 on my S6 Edge+ (G928F) ?
Is that method (no fingerprint) working on S6 Edge+ also like it does on a normal S6 Edge?
You can root and still have your fingerprint security. You WILL trip knox though.
