[Q] Samsung S5 G900FD - bad voice quality during calls - Galaxy S 5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello all. I have bought a new Samsung s5 duos device, and i'm having a big problem with it, because of the bad sound quality during phone calls... During the phone call, a lot of people say that they can barely hear me (I can hear them without the problem), like I'm away from the phone or I'm using speakerphone... When i tried to call on my mobile phone, I have experienced the same thing...
I don't think this is a microphone problem, because my voice is loud and clear when I'm making calls over internet, it happens only during voice call over mobile network. I tried every setting, disabled noise cancelation, increased loudnes, different SIM cards, different networks, etc, but nothing helped...
This is my first duos phone, so I'm wondering is this common thing on this kind of devices, or that's a problem with my handset only?

Call quality and stability during heavy data use

Anyone ever have an issue with the call quality or call drops while they where smashing the hspa?
I just installed navfree and while its downloading the Australia map I made a call. The guy at the other end said the call had bad quality and the call dropped once as well. After he called me back he said it still was hard to understand me, all while I do have full signal here.
Could be a coincidence or could of been his end. Just asking the question in general for discussion.

Reminds me classification of devices, i guess HD2 should be one that capable do simultaneously either data service or voice call, so it doesn't interupting each other. In your case, does it happening oftenly or just once?
I guess we all have background data call (if it was enabled) and as i use NAND Android on my HD2, there aren't problem when having call conversation.
There's many factors, could be network condition, could be ROM that we use or maybe our device itself.

[Q] I9505 Interference with computer headphones during voice chat

Hello
I couldnt find any post or so while looking up interferences with the Galaxy S4 I9505.
It is an international one from Luxembourg's carrier Orange.
My problem is that whenever I am on voice chat on the computer with friends (Skype and Teamspeak) they start complaining about my phone because they start hearing interference noises (or what ever they are called)
I never had this problem with my International Galaxy S2.
I tried turning off kinda all the features but nothing helped, Mobile Data, Gps, Wifi, everything is off but it still happens.
What could cause this?
Is there any solution to this problem?

[GSM User] Call audio quality poor on other person's side

Hi guys,
First of all, I'm a GSM user running the latest OTA stock ROM and Baseband.
So I've been making more calls lately, and I keep getting complaints from people saying my voice is unclear and breaking up on them. I decided to do some experimenting, and have come to the conclusion that it is not my SIM, phone's mic, ROM, or the other person's problem.
I've noticed, when calling from my Razr M to another phone (let's call it Phone2), if I set Phone2 to mute, then my voice is heard perfectly fine on Phone2. If it's not muted, then Phone2 can barely hear what I am saying from my Razr M. The whole time, anything the person says into Phone2 is heard crystal-clear on my Razr M
I know it's not my SIM card is because I just went to the AT&T store today and replaced it
I know it's not the mic is because if I use GrooVe IP to place the call via VoIP, everything is heard fine on both ends
I know it's not the other person is because I've had at least 4 different people tell me they can barely hear me on their phones, and I've tested it myself by calling the other phones in my AT&T family plan, and my landline, and the issue still occurs.
I found that changing
Code:
persist.audio.mic=digital
to "analog" instead, helps a little because it makes the voice louder, but it doesn't help with the audio breaking up.
Reverting back to the older baseband (the one that is included in Matt's Utility 1.20) doesn't make a difference.
Does anyone else have similar experiences? Ideas for me to try? I'm especially curious to hear from other GSM users.

S5 Neo sometimes can't receive incoming calls

Hello fellas,
I recently bought a new S5 neo but I'm having this strange issue.
Sometimes i can't receive incoming calls. The person who calls me gets the "The users phone is turned off or its out of range" message. And i dont receive any notification that somebody was calling me (btw i dont have a voicemail on)
The thing is i have good receipton, i turned off call baring, voice forwarding etc.. but still sometimes my friends can't reach me althou im in range.
Could it be that my phone goes into some kind of deepsleep and ignores everything ? Faulty antenna ? Or maybe i have to manual setup the network operator .. im out of ideas..
Anything will be appreciated
Thanks!
It seems that, when i call somebody the problem goes away for a couple of hours. As if it "reconnects" to the network..

[Help] Note 4 No Audio When making or Receiving a phone call

Hey guys note 4 on Freedom (Canadian provider) Just got my phone repaired at a repair shop they fixed my screen and now im unable to make or receive phone calls. I can make calls with VOIP apps like hangouts and facebook messenger. I can even make phone calls with headphones connected. I thought maybe the earpiece was broken but when i use the dialer and type #0# i can test the earpiece and i can hear sounds through the tests so that seems alright including being able to record through the mic.
What ive tried so far: Tried my Sim in an s4 - works fine with s4 (Sim seems to work in note 4 the calls go through just both parties cant hear each other) Tried factory resetting and clearing cashe - no difference Tried safemode - No difference Tried Factory reset using Smart Switch on Pc - No difference
Anyone have any suggestions? Is it a hardware issue? Anything i can fix myself?
