Hello,

I tried to unlock using tools available online. I now able to use it sim from india. but many times for detection i have to reinsert the sim again and again it is getting in my nerves...So i tried next step
2) Rooted the phone with motochopper
3) Installed TWRP
now i see the Unlock and samsung logo on boot.
But my problem still not sloved..
What i want it ORIGINAL ROM SUPPORT just the SIM RE-INSERT PROBLEM REMOVED!!!!
(I want to flash original firmware which allow me international sim)
I also tried odin but it says "Write Protection Error" on the screen of phone and the program..
Please suggest a good Firmware and how to bypass the write protection error.. OR How to flash with TWRP the original Non restrictive Firware (just like international model not like AT&T BULL****)
Seems to me that you have a problem with the SIM card.
Try to change it from your provider.
Usually SIM unlock procedure is performed once and not reversible

If I put this phone on Straight Talk, will I be able to get Marshmallow?

I want to put my DT2 on straight talk, but I'm afraid that if I do I'll be stuck on Lollipop forever.... Could I just temporarily put a VZW sim in to get the OTA? Could I find the update online and do it manually? I've never had a phone I couldn't unlock the bootloader and flash and so on, so I don't know.
As you already know, Turbo 2 is SIM unlocked. You should get OTA regardless of the SIM. LP firmware is out for Turbo 2, hopefully will be for MM as well. I have Force and I updated manually even my bootloader is still locked so you should be able to do the same.

SM-G935FD (Unlocked) shows invalid SIM card (network locked)

After flashing some roms and custom kernels my S7 edge which was unlocked couldn't identify my SIM card. It detects it but it doesn't show the service provider name and there's a notification which asks me about an unlock code. It's the first time I've come across a problem like this where an SIM unlocked phone seems to have turned into a locked one. I've already done factory resets, flashing the latest bootloader and modem, switching to another SIM card (same result) but nothing works. Is it one of the files being modified or related to hardware?
Currently I'm using Phoenix ROM v3.0 and VoLTaqe 4.2 kernel (best one i have). Also, other roms i flashed also had the same issue.
same here. Eve figure it out?
Was it originally unlocked or was it unlocked with a pin? Some pin unlocks are dubious and only last until updated/flashed.

No signal after transformation

Hello..I bought A2017 and asked the selller to upgrade my phone before he send me the phone..so i received A2017U b19 with nougat 7.1.1 , then I got the problem as any sim card doesn't work, it says no service
Please help me what happened to my phone and what should i do? Thanks in advance
flash a2017 full firmwware, or flash only modem, for the last you need an unlocked bootloader and twrp...
the easier is to flash a full a2017 firmware, get phone working, then mod anything you want
Could you tell me all the steps? I never do those things before.
Are you on Verizon? If so, the solution is put a GSM (for example, T-Mobile or AT&T) sim card in your phone, restart it, then put your Verizon sim back in and restart again. You can get GSM sim for cheap on Amazon.
If this is your problem, you don't need to unlock your bootloader or flash anything.

S10 + Sprint Unlocked issue

Hi Everyone,
I just bought a brand new s10+ from marketplace. I ran a full imei report and everything is clean & not blacklisted. It was a sprint phone however the provider I use is consumer cellular (uses ATT towers). When I put my sim card in it obviously said invalid sim and request it get unlocked. I wasnt concerned because I was going to convert it to unlocked anyways via odin like I did my note 9. I reflashed it via odin with the u1 firmware. However the same thing is happening it keeps saying invalid sim and the button for mobile operators is not showing. I have a tmobile sim card and if I put that in it works fine. Being though tmobile and sprint are the same thats why it works fine. I also have a ATT sim card, If i put that in I get the same invalid sim message. So it still appears to be locked somehow. Only sprint / t mobile sim works. I thought by reflashing to unlocked it would unlock the phone sim.
Just to be clear the phone is brand new and never was attached to any account.
Any ideas? I dont know what to do here.
Thanks!!
As I understand, phones that are locked to a network are not just software branded... also the phones hardware ID. So flashing a generic firmware is not enough. You need to get the phone unlocked from the phone's original operator
I found out what I had to do. I had to use a remote unlock service to remove the software lock on the phone. Its fine now. Thanks
