Woohoo!!!! Oh wait, I already have one. But I can't complain, mine was $489 free shipping 5 weeks ago. No accessories though. $500 would have been a good price from the beginning, and they would have sold a lot more. Oh well. Good price for those still wanting one.

thanks...
just bought mine yesterday. supposed to be delivered on thursday.
Shipped
1 Nexus 6 (64GB, Cloud White) $699.00. hopefully they will do a price adjustment for me.

I don't think price alone affected low sales. Poor marketing. This was meant to compete with other flagship phablets. And they did a piss poor job. For the average person they don't care about "pure android" or timely updates. They want the latest and greatest. Seems like Google didn't do much to market this phone for people outside of the people who already have/own/want a nexus. Nexus crowd expect a cheaper price and were turned off by the size. If Google wanted this to sell better they should have marketed as a competitor to the iPhone 6+ and Note 4.

I bought mine 30 days ago. So how long they go back to do price adjustment?

that makes me feel better. i will update here as soon as i find out.
thanks.

I coincidentally was purchasing one from the Play store when this price change occurred. Was looking at Amazon Warehouse deals and noticed new 64gb were the same price.
Wanted to swait and see what the next Nexus 5 had in store, but my Galaxy Nexus is finally croaking and well past its prime. Should have a new phone this evening. Then time to cut my Sim and wait for Google Fi so I can cut VZW.

They will reimburse you if you have a recent buy through them, got mine a week ago n they helped me out which is great!!

I just got off the phone with Google. They had my joy on a yoyo string. First it was yes we can refund. then no we cant, because you're out of the 15 day refund period( by 1 day!!!). So I told her I havent connected it because of waiting on project fi. But also explained i was looking to maybe get the S6 and just return the nexus 6. I continued to tell her I saw online that google dropped the price and some people have gotten the difference refunded. She spoke to the manager and he said "no don't lose the sale just refund the difference"
So the $150 is suppose to post in my account in 2days.
Fyi there's a 15 day refund policy. they can work around that if you threaten to return the phone. Also. I'm sure if it's been more than 30days it won't work either way.

they did refund me the difference.
here is the email i got.......
Thank you for contacting Google about your recent Nexus 6 order!
In keeping with our Price Protection Policy, I've refunded you the difference in price resulting from our recent price reduction.
If there is anything else you need, please do not hesitate to reach out, and congratulations on your new phone!
Thanks,

I'm FINALLY getting my Samsung Galaxy Note

For ANYONE interested hurry on over to MobileCityOnline.com cuz they currently have the Samsung Galaxy Note GT N-7000 in stock as I "thumb away on my Transformer". Better hurry and check them out if your looking to grab one.
MobileCityOnline is located in New York, highly recommended, they're a 1st class provider of imported and hard to get devices. I pre-ordered mine so they're honoring the $699 plus free shipping and I'll have by the end of the day Wednesday - Thursday @ the latest! They are currently asking $799 with free shipping.
Damn am I glad I passed up my pre-order from Clove.co.uk! It saved me @ least $175 by sticking with MCO. Woo Hoooo!
Good luck and happy hunting, oh by the way, I've seen some Note's priced around the $725ish range on eBay for those having a hard time finding one. One dude is shipping them from Missouri and has "more than 10 available" plus he's got a 100% feedback score upwards of at least a 1000. That's the minimum number of the feedback he's received that I can remember.
I can't wait until I get this puppy in my hands!
L2D2 is currently selling it for $725 with free shipping, if you can bear the 1-2 week backorder status.
EDIT: Disregard, they still have them in stock.
note time
Congratulations! I've had my note for a week and now and can imagine having to wait any longer for one. Spectacular phone/tablet that makes people stop and comment. Always the same comment, amazing love it. The screen is spectacular, functionality is amazing.

Get Nexus 7 (2013) Canadian's on PRICEMATCH!

Hey guys, So I went to bestbuy to look around to see whether or not the Nexus 7 32GB is available in stock anywhere since it was listed on their website, unfortunately it wasn't available there but I did own a 16GB Nexus 2013. I got it for 249.99 + TAX it was around $285.
Today I saw on the Google-Play store that they have both models in stock and its for the same price as it is in the USA and its with free shipping! (Even if its for a limited time only, still a great deal!). So I returned my previous owned Nexus 7 from bestbuy and went to future shop and got myself a price match and got it for the same price of 229.98 and it totaled up to $261. I saved up to $24 which I can use to buy a case, screen pro, etc.
So people who are looking to buy one right away, you can just go price match it until the free shipping is available and get yourself a Nexus 7 (2013) for its actual regular price!
Good-Luck shopping!

Hello, i tried it today for my 32 gb version which i got from memory express and they bluntly told me they dont price match google because its not an Canadian company. And they shooed me off. I was really dissapointed and sad and couldn't offer any proof which would help me prove that google is shipping from canada itself. Do you have any idea what i should do next ? i could really use some 10 or 15 dollars to buy a new case too.
Thank tiy

I got mine price matched at BB today, no hassles & no questions asked.
For ME, if you do add a device to cart, and click on their Devices Term of Sales, the first line says the principal place of business is in Toronto. Hopefully that will convince ME that it's being shipped from a "canadian company"
These Google Play Terms of Sale for Devices and any other terms referred to in these terms, such as terms provided in the Return Policy and Warranty Center ("Terms"), apply between you and Google Canada Corp., a Canadian corporation whose principal place of business is at 10 Dundas Street East, Suite 600, Toronto, Ontario M5B 2G9 (referred to as "Google" or "we"), when you purchase devices and/or accessories from the Google Play store ("Device").

Yes i probably can return the product to them if they give me more hard time. But i did get a good piece. o dead pixels and even gps seems alright and so is the mutitouch. Did notice some backlight bleeding but when i compared it too other nexus 7 tablets they had same problems too. So yes, if they dont price match within these 2 or 3 days i might just return it and end up ordering from google itself

Sorry for the late reply, the future shop dude asked me the same question and I told him that if it says that the price is in CA 229.98 it means its obviously coming from Canada. If they still give you a hard time, tell them to add a Nexus 7 to cart on the website and you will see before checking out that the payment is being sent to Google Canada
If anything you can return your old one and get the new one from some other shop that won't give you a hard time.
I hope you get the money bro!

thank you so much for the advice everyone ! based on the information you guys provided I wrote an email to the manager of memory express expressing how disappointed I was from this incident and also gave him links to the terms of conditions of Google play . and today morning he replied the mail saying he is sorry for the bad experience I had and that he will refund my money and all I need to is come to the store. so I did go to store today and again the customer service rep tried to be a smartass and started talking about import fees when the manager intervened and asked him to quietly price match and refund me the money since he checked everything out. so I got the price beat and the total came out to be 305 instead of the previous 319 . that's enough for a case and screen protectors from eBay .I'm so happy I came across this thread . thank you so much !!

Read that last night. We received our tab pro 12.2 from Amazon on March 10. I expected that price drop in about 6 mos. Sigh. Oh well. It took two tablets to get a "perfect" one. I wouldn't risk returning it to save $50. My son really likes his Toshiba Thrive replacement.

You can definitely ask them to adjust the price by email without actually returning the unit. They should be happy to help since it avoids a buy / return.
I did request their policy as I did not know. They adjust prices for 7 days from order. They offered to allow me to return it for a full refund at their expense and overnight the new order.

That's a great price for the 8.4 right now. I had picked it up last week for $399 and have really liked the size and performance. I had bought it locally at Fry's and got my 110% price guarantee yesterday with no problems!

Did you do it through chat or email? I did it through chat and 2 of the reps said the samething. They only price match or adjust the price within the first 7 days of purchase. What I did to get my refund difference was to use the email they sent me to leave feedback after I chat with them. Just leave all 3 feedbacks at 1 star then they will have an option for them to call you. The lady I talked to on the phone refund the $50 difference for me right away. Maybe you can try that route and see.

This is really good info for others. Unfortunately for me, I'd started the process of returning/re-ordering while killing time during an hour wait at the Minions ride at Universal Orlando (which, btw, was totally worth it). I had already delivered an "excellent" review of the customer service. I was (am) totally pleased that they allowed me a way to get the $50. even if it's a convoluted method. I don't have any problem getting the package to UPS.
I did the request through email. I'm sure there's some bookkeeping procedure by doing it this way--like maybe a business expense deduction as it doesn't seem to make sense. In any case, the new tablet ($599.) will be here tomorrow. After it passes the "test," the other will be returned. If it does NOT pass muster, I will then call to get the $50. applied.
Thanks @ machx1111 for even mentioning it. I come from the days of "let the customer beware" so I don't always think of these things.

I also chatted with a rep a couple days ago. Same canned response about price matching within the first 7 days. I was emailed a copy of the chat, but still waiting for their email so I can leave feedback. What they did send me was a link to see if I happened to qualify for a rebate, for any order #. Of course, there was no rebate for my tablet order.

Verizon Galaxy Note 4 Reduced - $149

I just got a call today from my sales rep. and he told me the retail version of the phone was reduced from $299 to $149. As long as it's within 14 days of order, they'll give you an adjustment. [emoji3]
Update: promotion starts today through 1/15.

Nice info man, thanks for the heads up. Unfortunately, I am not eligible for this but good info for others for sure.
So they had a price reduction? Planning on picking up a Note 4 in the coming week.
Although, this is not good news for Samsung or the performance of the Galaxy Note 4. A price reduction at this point means that the sales of the Note 4 are not performing as well as they want.
Terrible news for Samsung. Remember they already lost a LOT of money with the 'get $200 back' promotion. It's such a great phone and once again no one is buying it, yet iSheep continue to get iPhones.

Not sure, you may have to call about it. I have both business and consumer accounts, my rep. said he just found out about it yesterday and extended it to my consumer account.
Main verizonwireless site still shows original price. Has anyone had success getting this adjustment?
I disagree that the phone isn't selling well. They typically always reduce the price of the phone after it's been on the market for a while. I might take back the Lg G3 now for the note. I only got the LG cause it was 29 new on contract.

Do you see the iPhone being reduced in price? If enough people were paying $300 for your phone you wouldn't just give it to them for $150 out of the goodness of your heart. Price drops are to increase sales, plain and simple. If you had been paying attention to Samsung's earnings reports and stock performance, you would see that they are very much in trouble. They aren't doing as bad as Sony, but they aren't even in the same league as the profits Apple is rolling in.
All companies have those slow down, Apple included. Samsung is still the top dog in phones, nothing will change that.
Argh. I JUST bought my phone last week. I paid $299 and got a $100 target gift card.
Has anyone else been able to get an adjustment, or the promotional $149 price besides me?
I wonder if there will be a reduction for those of us who purchased the Note 4 on Edge?
Or us suckers who paid full price for the phone in order to keep unlimited data
Huh. I just called Verizon, and the guy said there were no promotions for the Note 4 right now, but there could be on Christmas. (Everyone, including them, should hear about select deals on some phones a couple days before Christmas.)
I wonder what's up?

I don't know. you would have to Go through the check out process and fill out the Finance application and pass credit check...i assume. May also be different if u buy through Project Fi vs Google Store.
Ask Google...their chat box support is usually very quick and easy.

I did the credit application and got approved, and already chatted with Google who told me they don't know and to ask the bank. Problem is the bank is closed and I don't want to lose out on the sale from everyone else buying before me lol.

I messaged a buddy of mine who financed through google...will see what he says.
Me...i bougt NIB cheaper on Swappa a few weeks ago...lol.\
My Discover card has 0%APR and double cash back rewards...so better than Google.
EDIT: He says he did not have to pay anything upfront. He just did the application and checkout...then started paying on it a month later.

Course...that determination maybe based on credit report they run...
IMO...though...if u are gonna go the finance route...wait until the Pixel 2 comes out in a few months.

My thing with Pixel 2 is the headphone jack , and I'll be paying less if I do it now. Since the developer community is strong, I feel like the Pixel can last me for years.

meh....with Bluetooth greatly improved and now APTX and LDAC support comming...BT audio is fine.
U can also buy a good BT to headphone adapter to make any wired headphones wireless.
I use a USB external DAC (Fiio E17K ALPEN 2) to power my big headphones for serious music time anyway..so headphone jack...not a big deal to me.
I can see folks loosing a dongle easy enough though...
Pixel Pre-Orders shipped the last week of November October last year.
That's still sixteen-seventeen weeks away.
At least four months before anyone will have a Pixel II in their hands (theoretically).

Do you know how the financing works? Like, do I have to pay a down payment of any kind or do I just pay the first month payment? Also, can I choose the date of the first payment or would not be due today?

I did the financing route.
No down payment.
First payment is due within 30 days of receiving the phone.

Well,,,,u dont pay $100 a year to Google for speedy delivery...do ya? Amazon spoils up too much.
And no surprise that it takes longer for orders to ship when a big sale or price cut happens. They are probably overrun or backordered.
Once the Pixel 2 comes out, Google will only sell the 1st gen until no stock..and not make any new ones....I believe that is what happened with the Nexus devices....i have been told anyway.

I thought that they doing the sale just to get rid of the last years pixel model? It is really good for me actually because the only reason why i didn't upgrade my n6p last year is because pixel was too expensive but now its around 560$. Hopefully they are going to do the same thing next year for the 2.
