direct the cursor on the folder ADB, hold Shift and the right mouse button and choose "Open Command Window";
connect your phone to the PC in the "media device";

then we write ADB reboot bootloader (the device will reboot mode fastboot);
then typed fastboot oem unlock **************** (where the asterisks replace unlock code);
write fastboot reboot and wait for the device to boot the system.
Now download below attached app named Kingroot...
Now install it in your huawei Honor 4C,,,

I already have the unlock code from huawei. But how exactly can you do a nandroid backup with the default recovery?

Default recovery lacks the option of backup and restore...wait for any dev to port recovery for our device...or i will port after 1month,,,
@inshaalmirza

It will says relocked
I read somewhere even after relocking bootloader you can tell it's been unlocked because the writing changes a different colour which indicates it has been unlocked. Because I was planning unlocking then relocking it if anything went wrong with it in the future so I can send it back to Huawei to get it fixed.
Can someone confirm this that when relocked there are no signs of it being unlocked

[GUIDE][AIO] Unlock bootloader, root and recovery for the Moto G

OK guys, so I'm making this thread because I just got a Moto G today, and I had a tough time 'setting it up' since there was no complete info at a single place.
Tested and verified this on Moto G XT1033 running Android 5.1, but it should work with other variants and android versions as well.
So this guide will help you to:
Unlock bootloader
Install a custom recovery
Root your device
Unlocking the bootloader
Unlocking the bootloader is pretty easy.
First download the Official Motorola USB drivers and install it
Now goto Motorola bootloader unlock page. Login with your Google account.
Now take your Moto G, and power it off.
Now press both Power and Vol - button for 2-3 sec and let go of the keys.
Your Moto G will boot into fastboot mode.
Connect the phone to PC via USB.
Open CMD from your adb/fastboot directory.
Type:
Code:
fastboot oem get_unlock_data
You will get a similar string:
Code:
(bootloader) 0A40040192024205#4C4D3556313230
(bootloader) 30373731363031303332323239#BD00
(bootloader) 8A672BA4746C2CE02328A2AC0C39F95
(bootloader) 1A3E5#1F53280002000000000000000
(bootloader) 0000000
Now copy paste the string from CMD to Notepad (right click in CMD, press select, select the string with mouse and press enter. Then Ctrl+V into Notepad)
Paste together the 5 lines of output into one continuous string without (bootloader) or ‘INFO’ or white spaces. Your string needs to look like this:
Code:
0A40040192024205#4C4D355631323030373731363031303332323239#BD008A672BA4746C2CE02328A2AC0C39F951A3E5#1F532800020000000000000000000000
Now copy paste that to the Motorola website and click request unlock key at the bottom of the page.
You will receive an email with the unlock key.
Retrieve the unlock key
Now, in the go back to CMD:
Code:
fastboot oem unlock
The bootloader will unlock, and your phone will reboot.
Your boot logo will be replaced by a warning.

Congrats, you have now unlocked the bootloader of your Moto G!
Installing custom recovery and rooting
OK, now on to the next big step.
In this guide, I'll be installing TWRP 3.0.2.0
First, download official TWRP 3.0.2.0 from the Moto G TWRP page.
After downloading, copy it to where you can access adb/fastboot.
Rename it to twrp3g.img
Download the latest SuperSU flashable zip from
Copy it to your phone.
Enable USB debugging and give your PC access.
Open CMD from adb/fastboot location and type:
Code:
adb reboot bootloader
Your phone will boot to fastboot mode.
Now in CMD type:
Code:
fastboot flash recovery twrp3g.img
Now do not reboot.
Instead use volume down to goto recovery option in fastboot, and vol up to select.
Voila!!
You will now boot to TWRP 3.
Mount the system as R/W (they will prompt to)
Now touch install, and select the SuperSU zip you copied.
Let it flash and then reboot.
Congratulations, you now have a Moto G with unlocked bootloader, TWRP 3 recovery and root access :good:
If you have any doubts/queries, feel free to ask!
Nice to see you @skyinfo after a long time
Thanks for the guide! Been missing tweaking Android for 2 years wonder how far the modding community become.
please also add how to unroot and relock the bootloader....
After flashing SuperSu, my phone gets stuck in a boot loop, any ideas?
Figured it: Flashed 7.1 ROM, root option is enabled from Settings. Never ever seen it done like that before!
im trying to unlock my moto g first gen mobile aslo im downloading android studio 2.2 but still im felt to unlock not found fast boot and sdk tools pls help

"Now copy paste that to the Motorola website and click request unlock key at the bottom of the page."

A little confused by model/build numbers and un/locked bootloader

I have a SIM free ( unlocked ) P9 lite that I got from Car phone warehouse and I am wanting to update it to the latest version ie nougat. however I am confused by all the different variations ie VNS-L21C10B360 , VNS-L31C185B360, VNS-L31C636B361 etc that are floating around. My device is VNS-L31C432B131, how can i decide as to which update to use.
Also is there a way to determine if my bootloader is locked or not?
Thanks in advance.
Hello,
L31 is the 3GB of RAM version, the L21 is the 2GB of RAM one. Your device is L31, C432 means it's the european firmware and B131 is the firmware version. If you want to update tu Nougat you have to follow the L31 tutorial, and to determine your bootloader status you can do it in this way:
-Turn off the phone
-Press power button and volume up
-Your phone will boot to fastboot mode and you will see if the bootloader is LOCKED (Green) or UNLOCKED (Red)
I suppose your phone is still locked as you don't know how to verify the status
I have tried that and I only got three options.
Reboot System
Wipe data/Factory reset
Wipe Cache Partition
.
Oh sorry, you have to press power button and volume down.
I forgot that power up was to boot to recovery, I apologise!
Ive tried that and the phone just starts as normal
You can try using the computer then..
Download and install adb & fastboot minimal drivers
Allow debug USB in developer settings in the phone
Plug the phone to the computer
In the drivers folder open a CMD (shift + right click)
Type "adb devices" to see if the phone is detected
If yes then type "adb reboot bootloader"

I have downloaded and installed ADB however I only have 4 items in the Folder
adb ( exe )
AdbWinApi ( dll )
AdbWinUsbApi ( dll )
Fastboot ( exe )
There is no drivers folder
The folder with the 4 files is the correct one, open the CMD there
Thanks for helping ( and putting up with me lol ) it seems that my bootloader is locked, however FRP (?) is unlocked.

If I am correct would the revolution rom work for me on this device ( https://forum.xda-developers.com/hu...t/24-12-16-revolution-nougat-rom-rc1-t3525138 ) or would I be better with something like this ( https://forum.xda-developers.com/hu...t/android-7-emui-5-0-vns-l31-l21-l23-t3513816 ) or by using this update ( http://www.droidviews.com/update-huawei-p9-lite-manually-official-android-7-0-nougat-emui-5-0/ )
If you want to update to Nougat I suggest you to unlock the bootloader, flash Meticulus' TWRP and then follow this guide:

Phone bricked, need help fast

I wanted to reinstall the stock rom (B360). I booted into TWRP and for some reason I wiped System, Dalvik cache, cache and internal memory (I dont know why I did that). Then I installed the Firmware but it failed probably because my frp was locked and I didnt know about it. Then I rebooted and now I cant boot to the system. When I boot into TWRP it just hangs on the TWRP logo and doesnt go on, eRecovery doesn't work. I can boot into fastboot. Its says that phone is unlocked but frp is locked. I hope that there's a way to unbrick my phone without dc-phoenix

Sorry for the late reply. Whenever I try to flash the stock recovery it says FAILED (remote: Command not allowed):crying:. I tried both fastboot flash recovery_ramdisk and fastboot flash recovery, neither of them worked.
After doing some more research (like 3+ hours) I think that the error can't be easily fixed:crying:. Some solutions that I've found that may work all involve either disabling USB debugging and then rebooting and re-enabling it or somthing like that which I can't do since I can't boot into the system or relocking and then unlocking my bootloader which I also can't do without dc-phoenix since my frp is locked. Also I don't know if the dload method will work as I can't access the sd card when I plug my phone to the PC. It may be possible to push files there using adb but I'm not sure if it will work even when I get the right files to my sd card. So unless you guys don't have a better solution, I'm probably going to buy the HCU + DC-Phoenix 3 day licens for 20€ (still a lot better then changing my motherboard for 100+€). Also here's the adb window with the error.

It seems that you need just to perform FRP unlock with HCU client.... After that you can flash twrp, etc....
Also you can try method from @vovan1982
"Small manual: removing frp lock.
If you have frp_lock and have not TWRP. Download in FF (FirmwareFinder) third file of firmware (example: update_full_WAS-L21_hw_ru.zip), unpack. Run DCPhoenix small update.app, and when DC Phoenix open back_door, detach usb-cable. On PC run cmd.exe and flash this frp.img"
Good luck!

Hi, I have a Zuk Z1 with ZUI 2.5.330 installed. So, I want to try some custom ROMs for fun, but ZUI version haven't an OEM unlock option, only have an usb debugging option. I already install adb and fastboot tools for Android, and I can reboot to bootloader through command adb reboot bootloader, but when I type fastboot devices nothing appears. When fastboot is active, in the ZUK z1 appears a black screen with the linux penguin and a status that say locked. So, if someone can give me a solution I would appreciated.
Thanks.

Check your PC, drivers, Firewall, cable etc. That are most common problems you'll find

Hi, it happens the same thing. I've change the USB cable and I also try it with allinone tool, but the state of the oem does not change. If someone have another way, I'll give it a chance.
Thanks.

1- adb devices ( returns my device ZUK z1).
2- adb reboot bootloader ( enters un fastboot Mode).
3- sudo fastboot devices ( same that in first step).
4- sudo fastboot oem unlock-go ( print three dots and in this step I get stuck).
That's all,
Thanks.

Well, there is no need: I already solve it. For same future issues you must go to http://developer.zuk.com/bootloader and ZUK team will send you an unlockerbootloader image. They explain with detail all the process to follow.
Thanks for the support.
