[Q] Galaxy s4 charger - Galaxy S 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello,
My brother's galaxy s4 i9505 need a new charger because its original charger broke. So i did some searching on the internet, and found out that i9505 support qualcomm quick charge 1.0, and also found a charger which support quick charge ( EP-TA20ewe ), but the problem is that if the EP-TA20ewe charger is a quick charge 1.0 charger or 2.0 charger. Even if the charger supports quick charge 2.0 is it possible for my brother to charge his phone with the charger?, that seems logical for it to support, but i dont know if EP-TA20ewe is for note 3 or note 4 or s3 or s3 , i dont know for which mobile phone model samsung has designed for.
Can you guys please help me find the original samsung charger for samsung galaxy s4 i9505 which supports qualcomm quick charge 1.0 for EUROPE , and i would like it to support 2.0 if it can charge s4 without any heat problem etc.
Thanks
I dont know if i posted this post at a right place, sorry for that

Amazon for your country should have them. I just went to amazon.co.uk and searched for Galaxy S4 charger. The first two hits were for chargers. There may be more in the 144,000+ results.
Failing that, call Samsung. They should be able to sell you a charger.

Is it possible to use the S4 charger on the s2 ?

Hey ,
i have lost my s2 charger and charging the phone by the laptop takes a lot of time , so i was wondering is it okay to use the s4 charger on the s2 ? thanks .
I wouldn't do it but I'm no expert.
My gf used her Galaxy tab charger on her Galaxy phone and after a while it destroyed the battery

NO RISK at all, maximum current charge value is fixed by internal HW/SW phone.
Charge may be quicker.
I have many different chargers charging many different devices without issue. only the charging time may vary (like using computer USB port).

I use my S2 charger, or maybe its my Gtab charger or possibly my Note or Note 10.1 charger to charge any and all... No problems here. Samsung just uses a generic, but branded, charger on all their phones. The only difference I have really seen is the connections for different countries, and that is usually just the different adaptor that slots into the charger....

[Q] Is it safe to use a Note 3 5.3V charger on S4

Is it safe to use a Note 3 5.3V charger on S4
Note 3 Charger is 5.3V
S4 charger is 5.0V
is it safe to use on S4?
Yes. But if you use a different cable it will likely charge differently given the S4 cable is designed to allow faster charging than previous Samsung phones, and even the different charger with the Samsung cable might mean it doesn't charge the same way either (haven't tried myself); this thread has good info.

[Q] Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Charger

Hi folks,
I happened to have lost my original charger for Samsung Galaxy Note 3, and all I have now is the USB cable. For emergency purposes, I need to charge my phone and it doesn't charge fast connecting to a PC. I do have an adapter for Samsung Galaxy S4.
Is it OK to use the USB cable on Samsung Galaxy S4 Adapter and charge my device? Or will there be a problem?
My phone battery is a 3.8 V Li-ion and 12.16 Wh
The Galaxy S4 adapter shows an output value of 5.0 V and 2.0 A

Thanks!

If that's hard ... can anyone holding a Galaxy Note 3 please post your output value mentioned on the original adapter?

It should be fine, most wall charges are fine. If you want faster charging you can make a charge only cable (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zwKCXJc1iTc) and it will always charge at max speed. While this isn't good for your PC, it works perfectly for car chargers.
Any 5MV charger will work perfectly.
The official Note 3 charger is 5.3V - 2A, so using a 5V adapter will be fine, just a bit slower.
I use my old HD2 and S3 charger half the time.
using a 2A charger will be fine. 1A charger need double of the time

Hi,
I tested various chargers and usb cables, including the normal micro usb from the older devices, most of them works like a charm
Including my old OTG dongle (usb 2.0), I didn't yet compare the speed difference between both...

buy any chinese charger man it'll be a gud alternate for d original one
You can use pretty much anything.
I charge my Note 3 with the original one (5.3v/2A), I charge it with a Note 2 charger (5.0v/2A) and I charge it with an old Nokia charger (don't recall voltage but it is 0.8A). It will just charge slower, but otherwise works perfectly.
battery problem
recently I've bought a galaxy tab s 8.4 , but take too mach time (about 6 hours) to charging with it's stock charger (5.3 v , 2.0 A) , when i charged with note 4 charger (5 v , 2.0 A) , it charged normal (about 2.5 hours)
now i have two questions :
1. the note 4 charger is suitable for my device ? isn't bad for battery life ?
2.is it possible that the stock charger was fake !!!???

[Q] S5 Bundled Charger

Hi. I'm new here but not new with Android and S5.
I am wondering if anyone else tried to measure the Bundled S5 charger performance. Anyone?
I got my S5 on the first day it was available locally. Then I tried to measure its charging and was surprised to see that the voltage was much higher than usb specs. I am wondering if it is still safe to use 5.6-5.7V charging mobile phones. I think 5.3v is still on the safe side, but I think 5.6v is stretching too much. I'm guessing Samsung used 5.3v to hasten charging a little bit (A x V = W), but was also surprised that S5 saps only 1.75A even though the bundled charger is rated as 2A @ 5.3v.
I know that the charger should output less than 5.3v when a device is attached because of the power load. But it seems that is not the case.
I haven't used my S5 charger frequently, I still often use my S3 charger and my powerbank which are only giving out 5v.
I am asking here first before I go to Samsung Store and try to have it replaced. I don't want to waste effort going there if all S5 chargers are the same anyway.
I am unable to directly post links, so please see the attached image and the youtube video with the video ID.

No one?

Charger compatible ?

Hello
I've lost my old S5 charger, will this one work without problems ?
It says it's for the Note 3 but the original S5 also had 5.3V and 2A...
